Sometimes being a man in the city means doing something unpopular, and that means you're probably going to be hated. Just being a cisgender christian white male in America is enough to get you burned in the streets, but now we're calling you to not just be those things in word, be those things in deed too. We are free in Christ, and that means there is so much that we can do in this world and not be in sin, but that's not where the verse ends. “stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” While we have so many freedoms, we should sin in our freedoms.
