“And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.” (Revelation 5:8 NLT) God is omniscient, which means He knows all things. Nothing can surprise Him. There is no unexpected occurrence with Him. That’s important to keep in mind, especially when we pray. In fact, a great way to begin any prayer is to give praise and thanks to God for His omniscience. Celebrating the fact that He knows everything puts us in the proper frame of mind to bring our requests to Him. Otherwise, we may start to doubt when our prayer requests seem to go unanswered. The reality is that God answers every prayer—in His way, for His glory, in His time. Revelation 5:8 gives us an interesting detail about Heaven: “And when he took the scroll, the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people” (NLT). When we’re in Heaven, standing before God’s throne, and those golden bowls, full of prayers, are brought before us, we’ll realize that God heard every little prayer that we prayed. And I think we also will understand that His answer to each one was far better than what we asked for in the moment. We will realize that God overruled something we asked for because it wasn’t the best prayer. What we don’t realize today is that this hardship, or this tragedy, or this inexplicable event will ultimately lead to a chain reaction of events that touches the lives of so many others and changes the course of the future in ways we could never imagine. It is a butterfly effect that leads to glorify God’s plan for us. When we pray, we can see only one part of that chain reaction—the one that immediately affects us. We need to trust God to accomplish the bigger picture. We need to accept that the thing we want to go away, or the circumstance that looms so large in our life, is there to give God glory. We may not be able to see how, so we must trust the Lord, knowing that it all will be revealed in Heaven when we stand before Him. Some prayers are answered right away. And we can be thankful for that. On the other hand, some prayers are answered long after they’re prayed. And we can thank God for that, too. Because He knows everything. He sees every possible contingency. He sees every possible outcome. He knows precisely when to act in order to bring about ultimate good. His timing is always perfect. So, instead of praying for God to work according to our imperfect understanding of things, according to our imperfect timetable, we can leave our requests with Him and trust Him to answer them in His perfect knowledge and in His perfect time. In this Kitchen Side episode of The Long Game Podcast, the Omniscient team dives into a wide-ranging discussion on trust, research quality, and marketing visibility in an AI-driven world. They start with epistemology—what makes research “good” or “bad”—and reflect on how flawed correlations can mislead marketers. The team then unpacks their recent Winter study on how B2B buyers use LLMs like ChatGPT in the purchase journey, revealing that while LLMs are common early in research, peer feedback and brand transparency are essential in final decisions. They also explore the evolution of SEO into GEO/AEO, discuss organizational roles and feedback loops, and propose new cross-functional models for digital visibility in a world of probabilistic, AI-generated content.Key TakeawaysNot All Research Is Trustworthy: Internal/external validity and sample bias can distort marketing data—marketers need stronger research literacy.Correlation ≠ Causation: Data trends, especially in AI visibility, often include spurious relationships—interpret with caution.LLMs Are Entry Points, Not Final Decision Tools: While many B2B buyers start with AI search, they turn to peers and review sites before converting.Transparency Beats Perfection: Buyers trust brands that clearly state who they serve, what they do, and where they fall short.GEO Relies on Accuracy: Incorrect or outdated online information can mislead LLMs—fixing this improves visibility and conversions.Sentiment and Product Reality Matter: Negative perception from bad UX or old reviews isn't a marketing problem—it's a product and comms one.AEO Needs Cross-Functional Ownership: Teams like PR, content, SEO, and product marketing must collaborate to influence LLM visibility.A New Role May Be Needed: “Digital visibility lead” or a cross-team committee could help unify efforts across brand, SEO, and off-page strategy.Show LinksConnect with David Khim on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Alex Birkett on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Allie Decker on LinkedIn and TwitterConnect with Omniscient Digital on LinkedIn or TwitterWhat is Kitchen Side? One big benefit of running an agency or working at one is you get to see the “kitchen side” of many different businesses; their revenue, their operations, their automations, and their culture. You understand how things look from the inside and how that differs from the outside. You understand how the sausage is made. 3/8. In The Iliad, Professor Emily Wilson highlights the narrative's sophisticated literary techniques, comparing them to an English novel. The poem expertly navigates between an omniscient narrator and individual characters' points of view, delving into their minds. Wilson also notes the challenges of translating ancient Greek, citing, for example, the existence of three distinct words for "spear," each carrying specific connections that she endeavors to render dynamically into modern English. This intricate storytelling was a hallmark of 7th-century BCE Greek. 1200 TROY

Here's my interview with Keiichi Matsuda, Designer and Director of Liquid City, that was conducted on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Augmented World Expo in Long Beach, CA. In the introduction, I read through Matsuda's essay titled "Gods" (also uploaded here) where he explores the idea that AI should be more like pets and polytheistic and animistic familiars rather than the more monotheistic approach where there's one true AI God represented by one of Big Tech's omniscient and all-powerful AI systems. This approach has lead Matsuda to developing a system of what he calls "parabrains" that is an interface for AI agents that goes beyond the narrative scripting capabilities that he was exploring in inworld.ai with his project MeetWol that I covered previously at AWE 2023. A lot of Matsuda's ideas were also explored in the speculative fiction short film called Agents that was produced in collaboration with what was a the time Niantic Labs and is now Niantic Spatial (check out my interview with Niantic Spatial at AWE 2025 for more on how they're using Matsuda's Parabrains system). "Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite." Psalm 147:5 Have you ever felt lost in the chaos of life, unsure of where to turn? In moments like these, it's comforting to remember that we are never truly alone. As Matthew 6:8 reminds us, “Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” This truth reassures us that God's omniscience envelops our every thought and desire, providing a safe space to bring our burdens. Consider the story of Solomon in 1 Kings 3:5-14. When God appeared to him in a dream, Solomon was given the extraordinary opportunity to ask for anything he desired. Instead of riches or power, he requested wisdom to govern his people effectively. However, God knew he needed more than that, so He granted him not only wisdom but also wealth and honor beyond measure. In other words, when we seek God's Omniscience and his guidance, He provides us with what we truly need, often exceeding our expectations. Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." So, I want to assure you that God sees our struggles, and knowing this brings immense comfort. In any situation, let's remember that He is fully aware of our challenges, and it will be helpful to surrender our fears. Remember, "God's omniscience is the silent witness to every hidden hope and unspoken prayer in our hearts." Trusting in God's knowledge can transform our struggles into stepping stones toward growth and healing. Yet, we all have areas where trusting God feels difficult. Whether it's navigating relationships, career choices, or personal trials, we might find ourselves questioning His plan. But remember, Isaiah 40:28 assures us, “The Lord is the everlasting God… He will not grow tired or weary.” Leaning into His understanding can help alleviate our anxieties and foster resilience. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:17 says, "Now to the King eternal, immortal, and invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen." Prayer for the Day!Dear Lord, thank You for Your omniscience and for knowing us intimately. Help us trust in Your divine wisdom as we navigate life's uncertainties. Strengthen our faith in Your plans for us, guiding us each step of the way. In Jesus' name. Amen.” Let this knowledge inspire you to embrace each day with hope, knowing that you are seen and cherished by an all-knowing God.

Superintelligence, at least in an academic sense, has already been achieved. But Misha Laskin thinks that the next step towards artificial superintelligence, or ASI, should look both more user and problem-focused. ReflectionAI co-founder and CEO Misha Laskin joins Sarah Guo to introduce Asimov, their new code comprehension agent built on reinforcement learning (RL). Misha talks about creating tools and designing AI agents based on customer needs, and how that influences eval development and the scope of the agent's memory. The two also discuss the challenges in solving scaling for RL, the future of ASI, and the implications for Google's “non-acquisition” of Windsurf. Sign up for new podcasts every week. It's one of the first choices you'll make when writing a story, consciously or not: what point of view are you writing from? First person singular? Third person limited? Omniscient? Something else? The POV can affect a reader's experience of the narrative and the worldbuilding, either subtly or dramatically -- so how do you decide what's right for this story? Kate Elliott joins us to explore the possibilities! In this episode, we look at how the point of view can shape both what you communciate about a world and how you communicate it. The POV shows the rhythms of life and can be a good way to feed worldbuilding to the reader -- but it can also expose a character's gaps in knowledge or their biases and prejudices! After all, a commoner and a noble living in same location will interact with different pieces of the world and in very different ways. That, in turn, can affect how the author thinks of the world: what we spotlight, where we might have gaps, and prompting a need to check our own biases. And on top of all of that, POV is also something with its own trends within genres and over time! So we dig into those influences as well. Transcript for Episode 156 Our Guest: Kate Elliott has been publishing science fiction and fantasy for over thirty years with a particular focus in immersive world building and epic stories of adventure & transformative cultural change. A Devotional Study on the Attributes of God 1. The Solitariness of God "Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God." — Psalm 90:2 Before there was time, before there was light, before there was an angel in Heaven or a speck of dust in the cosmos—God was. He dwelt in solitary majesty, needing nothing, lacking nothing, desiring nothing outside Himself. He was eternally perfect in all His glorious attributes. There was no heaven for Him to inhabit, no earth to govern, no creatures to praise Him—and yet He was altogether blessed. 2. The Decrees of God "The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations." — Psalm 33:11 Before the foundation of the world, in the infinite recesses of eternity, God established His eternal decrees. These decrees are the manifestation of His sovereign will, the blueprint by which all creation unfolds. They are not formed in response to events, for nothing takes the Omniscient by surprise. Instead, they are the cause of all that transpires, the predetermined plan that governs the universe. 3. The Knowledge of God "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit." — Psalm 147:5 The knowledge of God is infinite, perfect, and eternal. There is no learning with God, for He has always known all things. He never discovers, never forgets, never improves in understanding. His knowledge is not acquired—it is essential to His very nature. He knows Himself fully and knows all things outside Himself perfectly, from eternity past to eternity future. 4. The Foreknowledge of God "For those

In this podcast episode, Guy interviewed Lisa, who shared her profound journey of spiritual awakening and inner transformation. Lisa, who once identified as a home builder, golfer, and boater, experienced an immense shift that led her to become a proponent for world peace and healing. Her journey began after declaring an end to human suffering and immersing herself in prayer and contemplation. Lisa spoke candidly about her personal struggles, the catalyst that initiated her awakening, and the transformative power of connecting with a higher consciousness. This conversation covered the natural instincts that guided her, her contemplation practices, the physiological experiences during her awakening, and how it altered her perception of herself and the world. Lisa also discussed the challenges and rewards of this path, relationships, and the power of surrendering to a higher power. This episode offers an insightful perspective into the depths of human consciousness and the potential for self-discovery and healing. About Lisa: Lisa Rose is a former home builder, golfer, and boater. After an incredible and life-changing spiritual awakening in February 2016, Lisa took a leap into the unknown and began exploring spirituality and its physiological effects on the body. Below, you can read more about her life and the experience, in her own words. “Feb 2016. I was sitting upon my bed, legs stretched out. Suddenly I felt a sublime flash sensation where every particle of my body stood at attention, in recognition as if meeting their maker. My eyes became clamped shut, something slid back in the middle of my head… very euphoric… then energy began gushing thru my crown. A holographic image of Ramana Maharshi appeared behind my closed eyes along with a warmth that flooded my heart center and we shared telepathic communication. After a few minutes the image faded, the energy subsided some 10mins later and my eyes unclamped. 3yrs prior I had declared myself irrevocably done with human suffering. In resignation I surrendered my body-mind to my Creator and spent much time in intense contemplation of our Divinity… humanity's Omniscient, Infinite & Eternal nature. The experience was followed by 3yrs of Bliss, void of all desires and total detachment from the world, as well as unity with all things, especially earth and nature. I encountered incredible things during this period which has given way to a complete shift in my perception and a deep sense of Universal Peace. The last couple years I've spent investigating things, mainly the Bliss, and marvelling at the incredible latent transcendent abilities of our body-mind organism.” Key Points Discussed: (00:00) - Beyond the Surface: Lisa Rose on Exploring Inner Consciousness (00:08) - Lisa's Journey to Courage (01:21) - A Shift in Perspective (03:02) - Turning Inward (04:57) - Discovering New Thought (09:12) - The Power of Contemplation (12:46) - The Awakening Experience (23:21) - A Profound Encounter (30:56) - Exploring the Mind-Body Connection (31:43) - Bridging Science and Spirituality (35:06) - The Power of Surrender (38:12) - Experiencing Bliss and Transformation (41:50) - The Role of Consciousness in Healing (45:15) - Sharing the Journey and Insights (58:24) - Encouragement for Inner Exploration How to Contact Lisa Rose:www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004071234132 About me:My Instagram: www.instagram.com/guyhlawrence/?hl=en Guy's websites:www.guylawrence.com.au www.liveinflow.co''

If God is all powerful, does that mean He can do absolutely anything? Are there any limits to God's power? Does God's omniscience means He knows everything about everything, whether actual or possible? If God knows everything, does that remove the possibility of free will?

Why does God ask questions if He is omniscient? Why does God ask questions He already knows the answer to?
Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day for October 29, 2024 is: omniscient ahm-NISH-unt adjective Omniscient describes someone or something with unlimited knowledge or understanding. // "You'll need to tell me when you don't understand something I've explained," Maria said. "I'm not omniscient, you know." See the entry > Examples: "The Abrahamic faiths conceive of God as an omniscient creator and generally abjure gambling as a result; one of the first laws passed by the Puritans in the Massachusetts Bay Colony banned the possession of cards, dice, or gaming tables." — Idrees Kahloon, The New Yorker, 2 Sept. 2024 Did you know? One who is omniscient literally knows all. The word omniscient traces back to two Latin roots: omni-, meaning "all" or "universally," and the noun scientia, meaning "knowledge." You will recognize omni- as the prefix that tells all in such words as omnivorous ("eating all," or in actual use, "eating both plants and animals") and omnipotent ("all-powerful"). Scientia comes from the Latin verb scīre, meaning "to know," which likewise has a number of other knowledge-related descendants in English, including conscience, science, and prescience (meaning "foreknowledge").
