The Polyamory Plot TwistWelcome to the premiere of "Don't Let Them," our new monthly series where Robyn McKay and I unpack the manipulation, mind games, and modern-day madness that too often lurk in the spaces meant to empower us. And trust us—we're not short on stories.Born from a shared desire to speak our truth authentically and fueled by you, the listeners loving our dynamic, this is where we throw out the script and get real, off-the-cuff, about literally all the things. In this first episode, we dive headfirst into topics like challenging outdated therapy models (bye-bye, "blank slate"!) and the surprising power of self-disclosure. We unpack the critical need for discernment in the spiritual space, especially as AI deepfakes make it harder than ever to tell what's real online. And yes, we tackle that polyamory controversy (featuring Aubrey Marcus), sharing our take on its perceived manipulative energy and calling out the performative aspect of spirituality we see playing out. Plus, we discuss the tricky "hero's journey trap" of using trauma as public performance. Expect honest opinions, a no-nonsense approach, plenty of sarcasm, and maybe even a few laughs about Chat GPT's hilarious podcast title ideas for this new series.TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS(00:00) Intro(01:22) Don't let them is born(06:03) The Metamorphosis...better than ever(09:25) ChatGPT's hilarious struggle for a podcast name(14:02) The importance of authenticity(20:06) Barbie goes to college...and makes stupid decisions(22:44) Blank Slate vs Clean Field - Intuition vs Influence(30:38) Trauma-based mind control(37:01) The Aubrey Marcus controversy(43:44) The dark side of human consciousness and the nuances of online authenticity(46:10) Spiritual manipulation and leadership(01:02:00) AI, Deepfakes and the Algorithm (01:12:15) The addiction pattern in the personal development space(01:20:19) What to expect**WAYS TO ENTER MY WORLD**  When you leave a review of the podcast, send us a screenshot and we'll send you a $250 credit, you can apply to anything else in my world.Core Wound Solution Private Podcast Join 1,000+ women discovering the real root of their stuckness— and how to shift it for good. Send us a textINTRODUCTION:De'Vannon discusses the dangers of engaging with New Age rhetoric and spell books without being protected by God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. He emphasizes the deceptive nature of Lucifer, who can trick people into thinking they're moving forward while actually leading them astray. De'Vannon shares a vision where he saw God bring the universe down to its knees as a warning against venerating it above Him. De'Vannon also discusses the duality of the drag spirit, respect for the drag community, and the serious spiritual consequences of misusing spiritual gifts. He emphasizes the high accountability platform holders have before Yahweh and criticizes the mainstream use of terms like 'universe' which leads people away from Christ. The show touches on the queer community's prosperity and the spiritual gifts God has bestowed upon them. Finally, De'Vannon calls for individual authenticity and a personal relationship with God via Christ, while criticizing the church's mishandling of the queer community and New Age spiritual practices that don't recognize Christ's supremacy.Playlists: https://music.apple.com/profile/DeVannonSeraphinoWebsite: https://www.SexDrugsAndJesus.comINCLUDED IN THIS EPISODE (But not limited to):·      Spellbook and Literature Warnings.·      God is Going to Overthrow the Idol that has Become the “Universe.”·      God Laughs in the Face of Pantheons.·      The Spirit of Drag.·      Drag Queen Accountability.·      The Power of Subtle Influence.·      Celebrity Accountability to Yahweh.·      Yahweh's Reckoning Against the Church for Queer Abuse.·      A Relationship with Christ is Necessary for Heaven.·      A Warning To Shamans and Spiritual Leaders.·      God Favors the Queer Community.·      Miracles are Happening.·      Chosen Family was Jesus' Idea.·      TIME IS OVER.CONNECT WITH DE'VANNON SERÁPHINO:TikTok: https://shorturl.at/nqyJ4YouTube: https://bit.ly/3daTqCMLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/devannonEmail: SDJPodcastNewYork@Gmail.comThanks for listening!!! Start Your Transformation Now  In today's episode, we're diving into a powerful and eye-opening conversation that could transform the way you navigate your spiritual path. We'll unpack the truth about spiritual leaders - their influence, their limitations, and the often-overlooked consequences of misusing spiritual teachings.  This isn't just about calling out charlatans and ego-driven gurus; it's about empowering you to discern the difference between authentic guidance and those who exploit spirituality for personal gain. You'll discover why discernment is your most essential tool, how the limitations of those you follow can shape your own journey, and why reclaiming your personal power is critical to living in alignment with your highest self.  If you've ever questioned the intentions of the spiritual leaders you follow or sought clarity on who you can truly trust, this episode will provide the insights you need to protect your energy, avoid deception, and embrace the wisdom within yourself.   What You'll Discover in This Episode:  The Influence of Spiritual Leaders (01:08): How the limitations of those you follow can become your own and the importance of mindful alignment with authentic teachers.  Energetic Consequences of Abuse (10:57): Why spiritual charlatans eventually face repercussions and the impact of violating spiritual laws.  True Spiritual Guidance (14:51): Don Xavier's wisdom on being a channel for energy rather than exploiting it for personal gain.  Discernment in the Spiritual Space (27:00): How to identify manipulation and protect yourself from exploitative practices.  Your Role as a Creator (32:46): Embrace your ability to co-create your life while navigating the complexities of spiritual mentorship.  Listen, apply, and enjoy!  Transformational Takeaway: Be wise and mindful about who you follow. Authentic teachers guide with integrity and alignment, while charlatans exploit for personal gain. #333 In this episode, Guy interviewed John Thomas, a Silicon Valley tech professional turned co-author of a spiritual book, 'Channeled Messages of Hope.' They delved into the process of receiving spiritual messages from ascended masters through voice channeling facilitated by Carolyn and her friend Sam Larkin. The conversation covered the origin of the book, the role of ascended masters, and the environmental messages received. John shared personal insights into spiritual growth, life reviews, and the interconnectedness of all life on Earth. The discussion also touches on their upcoming projects and the unique experience of transcribing these soul interviews into an audiobook format. About John: I am Carolyn Thomas' husband. I graduated with a degree in chemical engineering and my background is classic corporate technology. I went down the typical Silicon Valley tech company path, but then soon diverted to marketing, sales, and business development. I've tried my hand at big companies, and I've been involved with startups. I've had some successes, some failures, and lots of interesting experiences.  My involvement with the emerged when Carolyn was preparing for the Nikola Tesla interview. Without an engineering background, she was having difficulty formulating the more technical questions fitting for such a soul and asked for my help. I ended up leading the interview with Tesla, as well as the interviews with Albert Einstein and his first wife Mileva who reveals that she co-authored Einstein's paper on relatively along with four other papers filed in 1905. I also felt drawn to speak with Ronald Reagan and Samuel Clemens and would go on to participate in the remaining interviews with Carolyn. We felt that having the two of us interview a soul made for more interesting conversation as well as follow on questions. Embracing a Biblical Perspective of Spiritual LeadersI Corinthians 4:1-7 – Tom Madon – Living Word Fellowship Instead of giving their foremost allegiance to Jesus Christ, many in the church in Corinth were elevating their favorite teacher and leader beyond what God intended. Paul's corrective words provide Christians with a Biblical understanding of how to view spiritual leaders in the church. In our passage today, Paul highlights three crucial truths that apply to the church in all generations. 1. Paul corrects their flawed perspective on how to ______ Christian leaders (Verses 1-2). • Paul and his fellow leaders were to be viewed as ________ and ______________. o Their service was to Christ. o Their stewardship was of the mysteries of God. o The foremost calling of servants and stewards is faithfulness to Christ and His Word. 2. Paul corrects their mistaken perception of how to __________ spiritual leaders (verses 3-5). • The evaluation of others was of minimal importance to Paul. • His evaluation of himself was far from conclusive. • God's evaluation is the one that ultimately matters. 3. Paul corrects their inflated _______________ in failing to see God's goodness in everything they possessed (Verses 6-7). • Paul's illustration of himself and Apollos was for the church in Corinth; his words about Christian leadership apply to the church through the ages. • Paul asked three penetrating questions that have application for all believers.

I am amazed, even dumbfounded, at one particular skill of our pastors and leaders who are totally sincere, holding their emotions with all the feelings around them. Pastor Greg is a man of integrity and compassion; it had to be God and His mercies on Pastor Greg that enabled him to stay stable. So when we read, "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity." 1 Timothy 2:1-2 Teamed with: "Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith." Hebrews 13:7 "Obey your leaders, and submit to them; for they keep watch over your souls, as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you. 18 Pray for us…" Hebrews 13:17-18a We understand by our experience and Scripture how critical it is to be in prayer for our shepherds. In this podcast episode, Nate and Marla Christensen discuss the concepts of codependence and enmeshment in relationships, particularly in the context of addiction recovery. They emphasize the importance of being enmeshed with Christ rather than with other people, highlighting the need for individuals to focus on their relationship with the Savior for healing and support. The discussion delves into the idea that the Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) is not just for addicts but can benefit anyone seeking to strengthen their connection with Jesus and find peace amidst chaos. Marla shares her personal journey of realizing the need to lean on Jesus rather than being overly dependent on her partner's actions or behaviors. The couple reflects on the transformative power of surrendering to the Savior and finding solace in the midst of life's challenges. They also touch on the importance of maintaining individuality and self-care within relationships, even when faced with difficulties like addiction. Overall, the episode underscores the significance of seeking spiritual guidance and support in navigating personal struggles and relationships. 2 Timothy 2:1-13 - Speaker: Lukus Counterman - As Paul neared the end of his life, he developed an exit strategy. He was going to pass on the faith to the next generation. He was going to finish his lap and pass the baton to Timothy. But he knew that his young protégé needed some leadership development. So, in our text this weekend, we'll look at the timeless wisdom Paul offers for the growth of spiritual leaders. May the Lord help us embrace our responsibility, leaning into his grace, so that his name and his word is passed on from generation to generation.

— When we go through trials, we end up dying to some part of ourselves, and that not only carves us into a new person with greater resilience and capacity for change but also one who understands that death on all levels is simply another rite of passage. As we walk through the dark places in our life and accept our losses, we die to what the ego and mind mistakenly think is the best life path for us. The darkness helps us touch into our vulnerabilities, and each loss allows us to die just a little more, so that when life takes from us, creation brings something new into our lives. Any life form that stops growing dies. In nature, death is not an end. Death only leads to new creation, opening doors to new dimensions of reality. This is true whether we physically leave our bodies to engage in a new adventure of life or if we stay here as a polished stone ready to be kind to ourselves and be in service to all of life. Valeria interviews Sandra Ingerman — She is the author of  “Walking through Darkness: A Nature-Based Path to Navigating Suffering and Loss and many other titles.” Sandra Ingerman, MA, a world-renowned teacher of shamanism, is recognized for bridging ancient cross-cultural healing methods with modern culture.
