We know Roger Federer's prize money from his Grand Slam wins. We also know of Real Madrid's earnings from their exploits across various football championships. It's a norm for most sports series to reveal winning prize money, so why not for Formula 1? We would love to know (officially!) what Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton earn from Formula 1 for raising the performance bar to newer levels every fortnight. Should this be one more change the sport makes for 2021? The German driver now trails by 40 points with just six races to go.The more controversial point of the race came when Sergio Perez made contact with the Williams of Sergey Sirotkin. Perez had been following the slower Williams for a while, and when he finally got past, let his frustrations take a hold and decided to take a swipe at the Williams.Perez only harmed himself by getting a puncture, and the subsequently being slapped with a drive through. There was drama in both free practice sessions in Malaysia, but for two different reasons. In FP1, the start of the session was delayed by thirty minutes because of the rain, and things got going only to find drivers slipping and sliding their way around the track. Pierre Gasly made his debut, whilst Sergey Sirotkin, Sean Gelael, Charles LeClerc and Antonio Giovinazzi were all also in action.
