We're back with the freshest takes after the Hungarian Grand Prix! This episode is packed with all the juicy deets, from team drama to some wild F1 history. Let's get into it! McLaren's Winning Streak is giving "Icons Only" ✨ OMG, you guys, McLaren just clinched their 200th Grand Prix victory at Hungary, making them second only to Ferrari (who has 248 wins). Mercedes is third with 130 wins, and Red Bull is fourth with 124. And get this—McLaren's four straight 1-2 finishes? It's only the second time they've done that, with the first being way back in 1988. Ferrari has five straight 1-2 finishes in 1952 and 2002, Mercedes had five straight in 2014, from late 2015 to early 2016, and again in 2019. Ferrari & Red Bull's Hungarian GP Meltdown: The Tea is HOT! ☕ Okay, so what happened with Ferrari and Leclerc in Hungary? Apparently, the team is at a loss to explain his collapse. And get this, after the Hungarian GP, Leclerc has only turned one of his last 16 poles into a win (the 2024 Monaco GP, for those keeping track). Red Bull is also spilling the tea on their own GP meltdown, revealing what went wrong. Mercedes is Catching a Vibe!
This week on The Fast Ones, Max and Mike dive headfirst into an unexpected but glorious mashup of 80s music nostalgia, steamy racing fiction, and of course, the Hungarian Grand Prix. The episode opens with an ode to Toto—yes, the band—followed by a deep dive into their hidden connection to Michael Jackson's Thriller, and the math-rock genius of 80s studio bands. From there, things take a sharp turn as Max reveals his "book of the week": Overtake My Heart, a Daniel Ricciardo-themed erotic novel that's somehow both hilarious and unsettling—and might just have been written by the Honey Badger himself. When the tire smoke clears, the guys break down the Hungarian GP: Lando's redemption win, Oscar's quiet dominance, Charles Leclerc's cryptic radio messages, George Russell's whiny post-race meltdown, and Aston Martin's mysterious return to form. There's also love for Ollie Bearman, speculation about Lewis Hamilton's future (is he retiring or just dropping merch?), and a passionate defense of Haas—the only F1 team you really need to root for. It's part racing analysis, part fever dream, and all gas, no brakes.
In this episode of the EverythingF1 Podcast, hosts Sean and Coops review the Hungarian Grand Prix.

For a while out there it looked as though Charles Leclerc and Ferrari would spoil the day of McLaren-Mercedes. As the wind blew from the west, rather than the east, Leclerc had taken the pole in the closing seconds of Q3. And, from the start, he appeared to be in control: Oscar Piastri sat in his mirrors but Lando Norris fell back in the wake of George Russell's Mercedes. Then, almost inevitably, it went wrong: Charles stopped early for his second set of Hard Pirellis and was thereafter never in the hunt: with floor damage, his Ferrari was over a second-a-lap off the pace. It then became a straight fight between the two McLaren drivers, with Zak Brown allowing them to race to the finish. Piastri, on a two-stop strategy, had the performance advantage - but Norris, on a one-stopper, had the advantage of track position. In this podcast, Peter looks back at the key elements not only of that race to the chequered flag but also of the weekend as a whole - at the amazing pole of Charles Leclerc, the dismal pace of Red Bull and the wretched weekend of Sir Lewis Hamilton. With thanks to Jetcraft, the world's largest buyer and seller of executive jets:https://jetcraft.comTo OEM Exclusive, the passionate suppliers of OEM upgrades for exotic and high-performance vehiclesTo TrackNinja, a lap-timer and data app designed to help users improve their on-track car and driver performance through analysis and an innovative Data Garage.

Round 14 in Hungary gave us strategy battles, emotional radio messages, and a glimpse of shifting power in the paddock. In this week's episode, we recap a surprisingly tactical race at the newly upgraded Hungaroring...a.k.a “Monaco without the walls.” From the brand-new pit building to Alonso sitting out FP1 with a back injury, it was an unusual weekend from the start. We unpack the shock of Max Verstappen's terrible performance (starting P8 and finishing ninth), Leclerc's calm control from pole turning into radio rage, and the behind-the-scenes drama at McLaren as Norris and Piastri went head-to-head. McLaren secured their 200th F1 win and the fastest pit stop of the season... but were team orders the right call? Off-track, we dig into Max confirming he's staying at Red Bull, Fred Vasseur's re-signing with Ferrari, and some cute moments in Pat's social corner, from “girl dinner” memes to the F1 x 75th anniversary merch drop and Kimi Antonelli's viral high school moment in that Adidas bomber. Aston Martin scored their best result since Brazil 2023. Could this be a sign that "Adrian Newey" is already leaving his mark? We cover all that, plus our random moment of the week and green flag/red flag to close out the last race before summer break. Thinking about your next car? Nine-time Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen, and Fox Sports Mexico journalist, Diego Mejia, join Tom Clarkson in the Budapest paddock to dissect a thrilling strategy battle at the Hungarian Grand Prix. After losing two places at the start, how did Lando Norris make the one-stop strategy work to take his fifth victory of the season? What did the guys make of Oscar's late lunge into turn 1 on the penultimate lap? Lando joins the pod briefly to share whether he did anything in the car to avoid contact with Oscar. And with just nine points separating the McLaren teammates with 10 races left, who's the momentum with going into the summer break? Charles Leclerc took a shock pole position on Saturday, so why did he end up finishing off the podium after leading from the start? Did Ferrari get his strategy wrong? And after Lewis Hamilton described himself as ‘absolutely useless' following another disappointing qualifying session, where does the seven-time World Champion go from here? George Russell secured his sixth podium of the season and his first since winning in Canada. Why were Mercedes quicker in Hungary after a difficult European leg of the season? And how will the news that Max Verstappen is staying at Red Bull in 2026 help Russell and Kimi Antonelli going forward? Also on the agenda: Gabriel Bortoleto's career-best finish in P6, Aston Martin's incredible turnaround from Spa and a disappointing weekend for Red Bull.
In this week's episode, Zoe is joined by Neha Sridhar to discuss the Hungarian GP. They discuss Charles Leclerc's impressive pole position, the different McLaren strategies, Lewis Hamilton's tough weekend, Aston Martin's strong showing, and what we should expect from the remaining 10 races. Enjoy the summer break, friends!
Ferrari fans, look away—this one hurt. In Hungary, the Scuderia managed to hit rock bottom, then grabbed a shovel and kept digging. Lewis Hamilton straight-up called himself “useless” and even suggested that Ferrari should just replace him. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc snagged pole on Saturday, only to have his race blown to pieces by a last-minute setup change. Talk about emotional damage... On the other end of the grid: McLaren's cooking. Lando Norris pulled off a savage one-stop strategy and danced his way to the top step. Oscar Piastri followed close behind, and now leads the championship by just 8 points. That McLaren garage is starting to feel real tense. Also in this spicy weekend:
Leclerc i Ferrari do neočekivane pol-pozicije, ali bez sreće u trci.-----------------UKOLIKO STE RASPOLOŽENI I DOPADA VAM SE ŠTA RADIMO, ZNAČI NAM SVAKI VID PODRŠKE
Send us a textWe review the Hungarian GP with @peterwindsor and discuss whether Lando Norris' drive was championship worthy or if McLaren favoured the Brit with preferential strategy. Would Lando Norris have been able to hold of Oscar Piastri at any other track or did the track they call Monaco without help walls benefit Norris? @peterwindsor explains why Max Verstappen's race in a sub-par car is proof that Verstappen is still the best driver on the grid and @peterwindsor explains what happens to Red Bull next and whether Verstappen will stay there for 2027? Why Toto Wolff was disrespectful to George Russell for the way he so openly courted Verstappen and @peterwindsor explains why George Russell should quadruple his fee when negotiating with Mercedes. We talk about Lewis Hamilton's quotes questioning whether he will still be a Ferrari driver after the summer break, and @peterwindsor explains what Hamilton must do to find this best form again and what did Charles Leclerc do that was wrong and the secret behind Ferrari's poor pace in Leclerc's second stint is explained.- become a member -https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxyxUe_jRskL8xH7n580Ecw/join- where to find me -Twitter: https://twitter.com/CxmeronCcTiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cxmeroncc_Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CameronF1TVBusiness Email : cxmeronf1@gmail.com#f1 #formula1 #f1news #f12025 #redbullracing #redbull #ferrari
Send us a textTatiana Calderón takes us on a high-speed journey through her remarkable racing career that spans continents, championships, and countless barriers broken. The Colombian driver opens up about discovering her passion at just nine years old, when a five-minute ticket at a rental go-kart track sparked a lifelong love affair with speed and adrenaline. What unfolds is a story of extraordinary determination as Tatiana left her homeland at 17 to chase her Formula 1 dreams, first in the United States and later in Europe. Perhaps most touching is how motorsport transformed her relationship with her sister – seven years her senior – from distant siblings to inseparable partners, with her sister eventually becoming her manager and traveling companion through the racing world.Tatiana's racing credentials are impressive – competing in Formula 3 alongside future F1 champions like Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen, testing in Formula 1, racing in Japan's Super Formula, making IndyCar appearances, tackling the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, and currently piloting a Ford Mustang in IMSA's GTD category. But beyond the race results lies a more profound narrative about identity and belonging in motorsport."I think, as a woman, we are so different and it's beautiful to be different," Tatiana reflects, revealing how she initially tried to change her nature to fit into the male-dominated environment before realizing that embracing differences is the path forward. This evolution in thinking represents the heart of her advocacy for women in racing – creating environments where women can compete equally without changing who they are.Whether you're a dedicated racing fan or simply appreciate stories of perseverance and passion, Tatiana's journey offers inspiration and perspective on what it takes to succeed against the odds.

The 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix turned the F1 world upside down with yet another Lando Norris twist AND some surprise winners...and big losers.Climb the ladder with me over on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsMcLaren celebrated a landmark 200th victory in F1 as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri delivered a commanding 1-2 finish, showing off perfect teamwork and strategy as Ferrari folded in awkward fashion. Gabriel Bortoleto stole the spotlight with a career-best drive to sixth holding off legends and proving he's here to stay as a rapidly interesting rookie. Aston Martin bounced back into form with strong finishes from Alonso and Stroll while George Russell secured another podium for Mercedes thanks to going back on failing upgrades and cooler weather. Liam Lawson continued to raise eyebrows with another points finish keeping the Racing Bulls in the midfield battle and Isack Hadjar wishing for better fortunes. The action-packed weekend wasn't all celebrations though as Ferrari and Charles Leclerc failed to convert a pole to a shock win and just...lost it. Not as badly as Red Bull though who struggled with grip and strategy with Verstappen and Tsunoda missing out on all but two points...oh dear! Williams, Haas and Alpine all endured tough races too...
How valuable could that win prove to be for Lando Norris as Formula 1 pauses for its summer break? Harry Benjamin, Sam Bird and Jennie Gow look back at the Hungarian Grand Prix, where Norris saw off a late charge from Oscar Piastri to reduce the deficit to his teammate in the championship to nine points. They hear from both McLaren drivers, and a very dejected Charles Leclerc, who finished fourth having started on pole.
We’re ready for our summer holidays but before we can break out the bucket and spade we have the Hungarian GP to talk about. Hamilton is down in the dumps, Hajar hurt his hand on a stone, Leclerc has a rant and the McLaren pair go for the win. We hope you enjoy. Warning: this podcast...
Oscar Piastri has lost two race wins to Lando Norris purely on luck! First, Silverstone, and second was today in Hungary. We predicted this "race strategy situation" in our race preview. The second McLaren (Norris, in this case) on the road would get the favoured tyre strategy in the race while the first McLaren (Piastri, in this case) would go chase Charles Leclerc for the race win. Was McLaren fair with their drivers who are the only two contenders for the Drivers' Championship in 2025? Did McLaren favour one driver or the other in the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix? Or did they maximise the team's result of a 1-2 finish irrespective of which driver finished first? And finally, was Norris a lucky winner of the Hungarian Grand Prix, a race where was the "slower" of the two McLarens and was in fact overtaken by two other cars (George Russell & Fernando Alonso) at the race start? Btw, Norris was very lucky that Alonso chose to not battle with him when the DRS was enabled. Why? Alonso, who was also on the one-stop, was the thorn in everyone else's race strategy. He executed a "Monaco-style" strategy at the Hungaroring (also known as "Monaco without the walls"). He bunched up the field and messed up tyre strategy for the other midfielders. Fair play to Aston Martin & Alonso who scored the team's best result of the season and maximised their points to jump two spots in the Constructors' Championship. Finally, Charles Leclerc revealed that the mysterious issue that he faced in the race wasn't the "front wing" adjustment at his pit stop, but in fact, an issue with his chassis that compromised his pace. Leclerc continued to not add to his already embarrassing "pole to win" conversion rate in Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, had another race to forget. He was one of those who was done in by Alonso's "slow pace" to finish 5th strategy. Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto impressed throughout the weekend and was the "Driver of the Day". As the summer break looms upon us, the question is whether Lando Norris will be comfortable knowing that he's brought the gap down to just 9 points, or whether he will know at the back of his head that Oscar Piastri would've actually been further ahead in the title battle if he was a tad bit luckier in two races - Silverstone and Hungary. Soumil Arora and Kunal Shah discuss the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix and how it all played out in strategy. #F1 #F12025 #HungarianGP Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Lewis Hamilton called himself "useless" after a frustrating qualifying left him 12th on the grid, while teammate Charles Leclerc took pole. Harry Benjamin is joined by Jennie Gow and Sam Bird to discuss a mixed day for Ferrari. They also hear from Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, who line up second and third for Sunday's race.
Charles Leclerc grabbed a surprise pole position, his first of the 2025 Formula season, at the Hungaroring. But does he have the pace to win the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix against the mighty McLarens? On the contrary, does McLaren have a pace advantage that allows them to overtake Leclerc around a circuit that's famously known as "Monaco without the walls". How did McLaren lose their competitive advantage in the qualifying hour? What transpired in Q3 that brought Leclerc & Ferrari into play? And of course, why did Lewis Hamilton say he's "useless" and that Ferrari need a change in driver? Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen's magic saw him in Q3, but qualify behind a Sauber! Gabriel Bortoleto continued to impress with yet another Q3 session, while his team-mate and "Mr. Saturday" Nico Hulkenberg is now tied with Lance Stroll with the maximum Q1 exits in 2025. Is Aston Martin's pace for real, and if so, where did it come from? A double points finish in the race will propel them in tight the Constructors' Championship battle. Soumil Arora and Kunal Shah discuss the Qualifying session from the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix and look forward to the race & tyre strategy options for Sunday's race. #F1 #F12025 #HungarianGP Learn more about your ad choices.

Mercedes Reserve Driver Valtteri Bottas joins Tom Clarkson to look ahead to this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest. Before they dive into the big talking points, you'll hear from Max Verstappen after the four-time World Champion confirmed he'll be staying at Red Bull for 2026 to end weeks of speculation around his future. Oscar Piastri goes into the weekend 16 points ahead of Lando Norris at the top of the Drivers' Standings. Whose driving style does the Hungaroring circuit suit best out of the two McLaren drivers? And with the summer break meaning a four-week wait until the next Grand Prix in Zandvoort, how important is this weekend in the title race from a psychological point of view? Ferrari have announced that Team Principal Fred Vasseur has signed a multi-year contract with the team. What statement does that send about their intentions? And with Charles Leclerc scoring four podiums in the last six races, and Lewis Hamilton winning a record eight times in Hungary, will the team continue the progress they made with their rear suspension upgrade in Belgium? Plus, Valtteri gives us the lowdown on Mercedes – why have they struggled for performance in the European leg of the season? What are their chances of returning to the podium in Hungary? And what advice has he given Kimi Antonelli after his recent confidence issues?
Where do Formula 1 teams spot the drivers of the future? What are they looking for in young racers? And how did Mercedes guide Kimi Antonelli from karting to F1? F1 Explains explores junior driver programmes, which exist to find talented young drivers and support them as they climb the motorsport ladder. Most F1 teams have these academies. Red Bull signed a young Max Verstappen, Ferrari supported Charles Leclerc and Oliver Bearman, Lando Norris was part of the McLaren programme, and Mercedes developed George Russell, Kimi Antonelli and Esteban Ocon during their junior racing. F1 ACADEMY leader Doriane Pin is also part of the Mercedes Junior Driver Programme. She tells Christian Hewgill how Mercedes spotted her and answers your questions on what the team is doing to support her career. The Mercedes programme is led by Gwen Lagrue, the man who discovered Russell, Antonelli and Ocon. Gwen explains how he identifies those with the most potential, guides them into junior car racing and decides when they are ready to step up to Formula 3, F2 and, finally, F1. ESPN journalists Albert Fabrega and Juan Fossaroli join Tom Clarkson in the Spa paddock to dissect another huge weekend in the title fight between McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris at the Belgian Grand Prix. Piastri went into the weekend eight points clear of Lando at the top of the Drivers' Standings, but after beating him in both the Sprint and Grand Prix, that advantage has now doubled to 16 points. How did Oscar ‘lure' him into that crucial overtake on the first lap of racing? Did ‘little errors' prove too costly for Lando? Or should McLaren have double stacked their pit stop to give him a better chance of fighting for the win? Charles Leclerc secured his fifth podium of the season with P3. How much was Ferrari's performance down to their eagerly anticipated new rear suspension? What do the guys make of a rollercoaster weekend for Lewis Hamilton? And with Max Verstappen winning the Sprint and finishing P4, what will new Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies take away from his first Grand Prix in charge of the team? Will Max be encouraged by his own performance as Red Bull's new era gets underway? The long sprint weekend at Spa is in the books, and while the rain delayed the start by 90 minutes, the racing action eventually delivered—mostly. We break down all the key storylines from Belgium, including one of Lewis Hamilton's worst-performing weekends in recent memory—but credit where it's due, the recovery drive on Sunday showed flashes of the old magic. McLaren dominated yet again, locking out P2 and P3 in the Sprint, then storming to a 1-2 finish in the GP. Oscar Piastri took center stage with a bold, lap-one move in the wet that set him up for a gritty and well-deserved first win of the season. Charles Leclerc snuck back onto the podium, while Aston Martin suffered a weekend to forget, showing no pace and no progress. Despite some drama, the race itself veered dangerously close to dull—thanks to weather delays and processional racing once the track dried out. Grab a coffee (or a waffle), and let's debrief Spa.
The 2025 Formula 1 Season is HERE. It's Round 13, the Belgian Grand Prix - and Oscar Piastri took his 8th win in Formula 1 ahead of Lando Norris & Charles Leclerc. Let's get into the details & reflect on our bangers & clangers shall we. My name's Tommo, let's talk about it.
