The world of sports keeps moving forward, even without the NFL, as we move a day farther away from Super Bowl 52, but a day closer to the start of a new season. Two guests will join host Adam Burke on the Tuesday edition of BangTheBook Radio, as Brian Blessing of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline and old friend Tony George of Doc's Sports share their insights on a variety of topics. A day closer to Super Bowl LII and we're ready to keep bringing the insight and analysis that you've come to expect from BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke will have two guests today, as he chats with Brian Blessing, the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline, about Super Bowl 52, the prop bets, and the return of the NHL from the All-Star Break. The guys will discuss how little Patriots money we've seen in the marketplace and how some Vegas books have already gone to -4. They'll also hit some of Brian's favorite Super Bowl props and talk about the NHL games for Tuesday night's card. Adam recorded a segment with Marc Meltzer, a freelance man about town in Vegas to discuss some of the restaurants and viewing parties that those heading out to Sin City for the Big Game or for March Madness may want to consider. This was a good segment for anybody that hasn't been out to Las Vegas for a while or those that are unsure about how it works for big events like this.

On we go into another edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke will start things off with Brian Blessing, the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline, to chat about the early Super Bowl LII lines and the movement that we've seen so far. Prop bets are also out very early this year, so we have a lot of those to consider already as well. They also discussed the NHL All-Star Break and if the NHL should be handicapped differently this week. Adam asked Brian if he sees any teams coming out hot following the layoff and if he sees some teams coming out sluggish as we head towards the Trade Deadline. We also welcomed back Ed Feng of The Power Rank to discuss Super Bowl LII and spend a little bit of time on tonight's college basketball card. Adam and Ed chatted about what the betting market has said about the Eagles vs. Patriots game thus far and also highlighted some key matchups that look likely to influence the way this game is broken down. They also talked about Ed's approach to prop betting and what his early thoughts are. On the college basketball side, the guys looked at a few of tonight's marquee games and looked for some other edges in the data that is out there.

Host Adam Burke has some interesting topics to chat about with today's guests, Brian Blessing and Ed Feng, as we touch on some key handicapping concepts in different markets. We'll start with Brian Blessing, the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline, to chat some NFL playoffs and NHL betting. The Conference Championship games are coming up with Jaguars vs. Patriots and Vikings vs. Eagles, so we got Brian's thoughts on the lines and those matchups. On the NHL side, the guys talked about handicapping goaltenders, whether "having a team's number" matters, and day games. Ed Feng of ThePowerRank.com joined us to chat about some college basketball betting futures. With Selection Sunday now less than two months away, looking ahead to March Madness betting opportunities makes a lot of sense. Ed has his own set of metrics and models to evaluate college basketball teams, so we'll ask him about the data that he uses and then take advantage of that data to isolate some teams that are good futures bets to make in hopes of turning a nice profit.
