FireFly Metals Ltd managing director Steve Parsons talked with Proactive about the company's ongoing drilling success at the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada. FireFly has reported strong extensional drilling results that intersect mineralisation more than 200 metres beyond the current Mineral Resource Estimate. The Green Bay Project currently hosts a Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource of 24.4 million tonnes at 1.9% copper equivalent (CuEq), with an additional 34.5 million tonnes at 2.0% CuEq classified as Inferred. Drilling is targeting growth through multiple fronts, including a 35,000-metre resource extension program and a further 35,000 metres for infill drilling to convert Inferred resources. Significant new intercepts include 25.8 metres at 5.1% CuEq and 12.4 metres at 6.8% CuEq. Drilling from the 805 Level continues to deliver high-grade hits across both VMS and Footwall Zone (FWZ) styles of mineralisation. Underground drilling continues with five rigs active, and a sixth underground rig is arriving in late May. A Down Hole Electromagnetic (DHEM) anomaly over 700 metres beyond current drill extents is also being tested, presenting further exploration potential. “We are about to add a seventh rig because we have so many opportunities to pursue,” Parsons said. “There are very few projects which could justify such an aggressive drilling campaign.” Visit Proactive's YouTube channel for more videos, and don't forget to give the video a like, subscribe to the channel, and enable notifications for future content. #FireFlyMetals #CopperExploration #GoldMining #GreenBayProject #NewfoundlandMining #DrillingResults #MineralResource #MingMine #MiningUpdates #ResourceExpansion #VMS #ExplorationNews #JuniorMining

Firefly Metals Ltd managing director Steve Parsons talked with Proactive about the company's latest drill results from the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project. Parsons highlighted a series of significant intercepts from ongoing infill drilling, including a standout result of 14.2 metres at 7.5% copper equivalent. These results are part of an effort to upgrade the current 24.4 million-ton resource into the indicated category, which is essential for progressing the company's engineering studies and maintaining ASX compliance. “In some of those infill zones, we're seeing 50 metres or more at over 2% copper with gold,” Parsons said, underlining the robust nature of the mineralised system. Firefly currently has five underground rigs active, with three focused on infill drilling and two on step-out drilling aimed at further growing the resource. The company expects new results in the coming weeks and is also preparing to commence regional exploration drilling within a ten-kilometre radius of the planned processing plant. Parsons noted the geological potential of the area, stating that VMS high-grade copper-gold systems “typically find more than one,” expressing optimism about upcoming exploration. Steve Parsons in conversation with David Eastaugh Sharks are a British rock band formed in 1972 by former Free bassist Andy Fraser upon his departure from Free. They were signed to Island Records and were highly rated by critics, especially for Chris Spedding's guitar work. The original line-up consisted of Fraser (bass, piano), Snips (real name, Steve Parsons) (vocals), Spedding (guitar) and Marty Simon (drums). Steve Parsons and Anke Trojan directed the 2023 documentary Not a Rock-Doc: A Shark's Tail, about the ups and downs in the story of this band, from the success heights in the '70 to the issues that led to its dissolution and then to further insights around the subsequent reunion. Filmed in Berlin, Tokyo and London, the film was noticed for its integration of various angles of raw footage and for its humor and irony. The narrative is stirred by interactions with Steve Parsons and Chris Spedding, notably Jordan Mooney (Pamela Rooke) managing to bring to light previously unknown nuances in discussions with an otherwise tight Chris Spedding.

Ghostology is simply the study of Ghosts. It is not ghost hunting, neither is it is parapsychology. The study of ghosts - Ghostology, is not trying to capture apparitions on camera, although that is sometimes a part of it. It is not trying to record the sounds and the voices of the deceased or of spirits, although that too is a part of it. Ghostology is the holistic study of a fascinating aspect of our humanity, a shared human experience that dates back to the earliest civilisations and is common to all of them. Ghostology is not a “How to guide” for those seeking to investigate ghosts but it provides an up to date consideration and a discussion of the many methods and techniques that will prove helpful to anyone interested in the subject, for those who actively seek ghosts or who are merely interested in discovering more about this fascinating subject. So is Ghostology an art or a science. Listen in and you decide.
In Berlin monuments will no longer be lit up at night and, in Hanover, showers at public pools and sports centres will be cold with no hot water being provided. This is in the hope of saving gas for the cold months. What action will the UK take to ensure households don't go cold this winter? Today's Mishal Husain spoke to our Berlin correspondent, Jenny Hill about Germany's striking energy reducing measures. Mishal also spoke with chairman of energy supplier, Utilita's Derek Lickorish and chair of the committee on Fuel Poverty which advises government, Caroline Flint about how the UK should be responding to the energy crisis.
