Then, during the first meeting, she asks the person to read that story aloud and exchange the name of the color for their own first name. It's a profound exercise that has brought some of her clients (including me!) to tears.  One of Susan's great talents is uncovering a client's essence. She feels she has to. It's easy to bring someone to a store and throw clothes on them and make them look great, but that's not how she sees her work with clients. She wants to help her clients dig down to find out who they are at a deeper level and pull that out so they can dress in a way that's fulfilling to themselves.  The difference between having a style and being stylish (7:07)There's a big difference between having a style and being stylish. During the years Susan owned the spa, Susan's style was graceful, clean and professional. She's also a creative person, so she found ways to express that with her hair, makeup and jewelry.  In her late 30s Susan kept having a bizarre attraction to Birkenstocks. Not the trendy, modern Birkenstock we see today. The old-school, dark brown, suede Arizona Birkenstock sandals. There was nothing about her life or style at the time that could make sense of the urge to go buy these shoes. Friends who saw them in her closet wondered what she was doing with them.  She bought the shoes anyway and wondered how she would wear them, since they didn't go with anything in her closet. She knew there was something about the earthiness and naturalness of the shoes that she loved. She bought them and didn't wear them for years, but she loved looking at...

Dulce Alvarez was abducted from Bridgeton, NJ on September 16, 2019. Gina Bos vanished from Lincoln, Nebraska in October 2000. Dr Allan Hawke AC, FAICD, FIML, FIPAA is a great great grandson of Joseph Blundell and “Susan Osborne” through the 10th of their 11 children - Rosanna Meech (née Blundell). He was Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Paul Keating in 1993-1994; Secretary of Veterans’ Affairs from 1994-1996; Secretary of Transport and Regional Services from 1996-1999 and Secretary of Defence from 1999-2002. His final posting was High Commissioner to New Zealand after which he “retired” to become The Australian National University’s 10th Chancellor on 28 February 2006 - the only graduate of his alma mater to hold that prestigious position. In 2003, he was a Centenary Medal recipient - only the third specific Australian Commemorative award. Created to mark Australia’s 100 years of Federation, it was bestowed on people considered to have contributed to Australian society or government and laid solid foundations for the nation’s future. Dr Hawke received Australia’s highest civilian honour when appointed a Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia in the 2010 Queen’s Birthday List for eminent service to public administration, particularly through the formulation and implementation of policy in the areas of defence, transport and education, and strengthening bilateral relations with New Zealand. Allan is one of 25 eminent Australians on the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia Leadership Council. His other current appointments include Chairman of the Canberra Raiders and Chairman of the Canberra University Campus Development Joint Venture. He is Patron of Respite Care Queanbeyan and until recently was ACT Cricket Patron, Chairman of Trusted Systems and Solutions, President of ACT Barnardos and until February this year was a Non-Executive Director of the Lockheed Martin Australia Board. Episode 17 Susan Osborne and Evan Chartrand42 Year-old Susan Osborne, and her 14 year-old son Evan Chartrand were reported missing in July, 2017 after their family hadn't heard from them in a while. The Holtville, Alabama Mother and Son had been living with Susan's second husband, Jerry Marshall Osborne. Suspicion quickly focused on Osborne after he failed to report his wife and Stepson missing. In fact, the pair may have been missing for several weeks before other family members reported them missing. Susan's 2 dogs also had vanished, but were later found at an animal shelter. It was revealed that Susan had discovered a seedy, secret side and past of her husband just before she vanished. When police investigated, they found that Jerry Osborne had re-furnished and renovated much of his home. Witnesses had seen him burning items. Investigators found signs of blood in the home, but their testing was limited. Today, Susan and Evan remain missing. The only suspect named by police is Jerry Osborne. Susan's sister in law Missy is the guest in this episode, and she shares memories of Susan and Evan, and discusses the clues that seem to point the finger at Jerry Osborne. On Memorial Day 2017, Susan Osborne and her 14 year old son Evan Chartrand disappeared from their home in the small community of Holtville, AL.  Investigators have stated they currently have only 1 person of interest in their disappearance, Susan's husband, Jerry Osborne.

May 29, 2017. Holtville, Alabama. Susan Osborne, 42, and her 15 year old son, Evan Eric Chartrand, were last heard from on May 29, 2017. Since then there has been no contact and friends and family are worried. Susan was married to a man named Jerry Osborne, an Air Force veteran They had been experiencing some difficulties in their relationship but Susan told others that they were working on things and that she loved her husband. Linda Anklam, Susan's mother, reported them missing on July 29, two months after they likely went missing. The delay was mostly out of respect for Susie's privacy. But with unanswered calls and letters mounting, family and friends could no longer stay silent. Police visited the home that Susan and Jerry shared in order to get some answers and the door was answered by Jerry who was obviously in the process of cleaning the residence. But he hadn't just cleaned the five year old home, he had completely remodeled it over the prior two months. A married mother and her teenage disappeared from their Alabama home on Memorial Day 2017, but family secrets emerged months later that raised suspicions about the father. The mother and son are still missing and no one has been arrested. Nancy Grace looks at the mystery of what happened to Susan Osborne and 15-year-old Evan.
