He was deliciously evil as Vocal Adrenaline's coach, Dustin Goolsby, on Glee, and he is on the pod! The super-talented Cheyenne Jackson joins Jenna and Kevin to talk about going toe-to-toe with Mr. Schuester on Glee ... a role he originally auditioned for! The incredible Goolsby storyline that Ryan Murphy pitched him but never happened, the craziest job offer story for American Horror Story involving Ryan and a spin class, and why Lady Gaga freaked him out the first time he met her! Plus, Cheyenne shares a personal story, revealing that for the first time in eighteen years as a professional actor, he didn't have enough SAG credits to qualify for his health insurance, so he put ego aside and reached out to some friends for help. You won’t believe which actor stepped in to offer him a role on a massive hit show!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Rachel's show bombed, Klaine broke up, Blaine flunked out of school, and Lena and Ian are eating it up. This show is about losers again, hooray! We also discuss the return of Vocal Adrenaline, Sue running McKinley, and Disney's Frozen

In this episode of Gleek of the Week, Andrew and Allison discuss their Halloween costumes for the upcoming holiday and what it would take to dress as a Glee club member. Our guest is the incredible Taisha Monique Clark, the Vocal Adrenaline starlet who is anything but a “soulless automaton” like her Glee character Giselle. Taisha tells us all about her experience on the show, working with cast members like Amber Riley, Naya Rivera, and Jonathon Groff, as well as what it was like on the Glee tour. This is S3E20, "Props." As Nationals approaches, Tina is rightly feeling pushed aside and overlooked, despite being one of the original New Directions. Rachel invites Carmen Tibideaux to Nationals to watch her perform in hopes of making up for her failed audition. Meanwhile, Unique has become a sensation for Vocal Adrenaline. A fake pregnancy? Vocal Adrenaline? Plots so outrageous they'd make Shakespeare proud? Of course, it can only be Glee. This week, Kayleigh explains their favourite plot line and a couple of quick fire plots from the hit TV show Glee. On today's episode, Torian Brackett joins us to discuss the not-so-funkification of McKinley High. Vocal Adrenaline are asshats, we DON'T know why Jesse is still salty, and Shue makes us uncomfortable again. Furthermore, Quinn doesn't understand systemic oppression fully, and time still doesn't exist. Finally, we have our first write-in! Hey everybody, got any regerts? This week we look at "Funk" (phunk?), the penultime episode of season one, and fight through clinical depression in order to unite the unwed mothers, the dreamers, and me. Tanner knows at least one thing about Bell's Palsy, Christina goes back to the Spanish Corner, and Vocal Adrenaline has a *Female Lead*.If you want to contact us we can be found at loserlikemepod@gmail.com, or @loserlikemepod on twitter. It's time to get villainous here in The Choir Room as we take a trip to Carmel High and talk all things Vocal Adrenaline. From Jesse to Sunshine to Unique to Clint. From Shelby to Dustin to Jesse to Will to Sue. We're unpacking just how terrible these kids and coaches are over six seasons of Glee. (Except their music, none of that is terrible.) At the end, we take all of Vocal Adrenaline's (and Jesse's, and Sunshine's) featured songs and reveal the final rankings based on voting from both hosts as well as anyone who participated in the song surveys! The songs up for discussion in the rankings are: Vocal Adrenaline: 1x01: Rehab 1x03: Mercy 1x14: Highway to Hell 1x21: Another One Bites the Dust 1x22: Bohemian Rhapsody 2x22: As Long As You're There 3x16: Boogie Shoes 3x21: Starships 3x21: Pinball Wizard 6x01: Dance the Night Away 6x04: Whip It 6x04: Rock Lobster 6x07: You Give Love a Bad Name 6x10: Far From Over 6x11: Hey Mickey 6x11: We Built This City Jesse St. James: 1x14: Highway to Hell 1x14: Hello (with Rachel) 1x21: Another One Bites the Dust 1x22: Bohemian Rhapsody 2x20: Rolling in the Deep (with Rachel) 6x11: Listen To Your Heart (with Rachel) Sunshine Corazon: 2x01: Telephone (with Rachel) 2x01: Listen 2x17: All By Myself 2x22: As Long As You're There Follow us on Twitter: @choirroompod E-mail us! Glee season 6, episode 7: "Transitioning" – Coach Beiste returns to McKinley to finally be his true self. Glee season 1, episode 21: "Funk" – Mr. Shue wants to knock the glee club out of it’s funk after Jesse leaves them to go back to Vocal Adrenaline. The lesson of the week: funk. Glee season 1, episode 20: "Theatricality" – Finn and Kurt are moving in together. Yep. Meanwhile, Vocal adrenaline has Gaga up their sleeves. Yes, you heard right. “They’re doing Gaga." The New Directions decide to follow their lead and inject some drama and camp into their performances this week. But Rachel is going to find out that Little Monster-ship isn’t the only thing she has in common with Vocal Adrenaline. We are joined for this episode by Alex Conti! Well, we've made it. After a season of teen emotional breakdowns, heart soaring musical numbers, and entirely too much Matthew Morrison rapping, we made it to Regionals. This week, we dive into the final episode and wrap up the first season of GLEE with "Journey to Regionals." Sue is made a judge at the competition, Quinn finally gives birth, and Vocal Adrenaline blows our mind once again. Even if the best number wasn't even shown. We also rank our favorite episodes and musical numbers of the season. Did something rain on "Don't Rain on my Parade"'s parade? This is a rough one, guys. This week we fall into a deep funk, as we discuss episodes 1x20: “Theatricality” and 1x21: “Funk”. On the former, it’s Gaga week at McKinley, Rachel has the most misguided first encounter with her birth mother, and Finn says the “F” word. On the latter, Will tries to seduce Sue to disarm her, Vocal Adrenaline strikes back, and Quinn dances while pregnant; a lot. Us? We’d just rather talk about Beanie Feldstein. Wow it's been a week hasn't it? Dang. Yeah. So let's all sit back, pour a drink (or nine), and spend half an hour trying to forget about the garbage fire we all just witnessed with a little bit of Glee. Today we're talking S1E21, "Funk." We're gonna be honest, we didn't love this one. A lot happened and nothing happened. Quinn found some funky soul and Vocal Adrenaline found their weakness. And we found the canon moment where Kurt speaks French. Allons-y! This episode rates a paltry .25 on the Kevin Scale. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
With bedazzlement firmly in place, Erica and Emily put on their finest bridesmaids/regionals gowns and open their big trouty mouths to dig into the oddly titled “Original Song”, aka the 16th episode of Glee’s 2nd season. Much squealing is sounded for the Blurt consummation, while confusion continues to reign as the ladies consider the mysterious fate of Vocal Adrenaline. Music is discussed at length, culminating in a rather unfortunate revelation about Blackbird and Charles Manson (thanks Wayne) but hey, we get by with our usual rounds of tangents, feedback, and Warbler worship. Send your thoughts to gleekast@gmail.com, join the party at palavr.com, and stay tuned for our Very Special Commentary Bonus coming next week to sate your thirst during Glee’s hiatus. Oh, and Victoria Jackson should go eat a mediocre peanut butter and jelly sandwich on stale white bread, then discover the hard way that she’s allergic to peanuts, and just as a nearby friend is about to pump her up with an EpiPen as she suffocates on her own hives, an escaped velociraptor from Jurassic Park should descend upon her and tear her ugly blond head from her psychotic close-minded body. Lastly, Mookie will pee on her. And that’s how we feel about that! Onto Nationals!
We're always thrilled to feature new musicians on the show. And when this week's singer turns out to be a super hottie, model, dancer, actor, and artist by the name of MIKE MUNICH, we're on top of the world. Mike calls in to chat with Dale, Scott & Steve about his longtime role on FOX's Glee (he's part of the Vocal Adrenaline group); how he carried Lady Gaga's infamous egg into the American Music Awards; danced in several of her videos; has performed with Adam Lambert and Kei$ha and countless others; has graced hundreds of magazines and websites as a sought after model; and, he's starred in a string of videos for Andrew Christian. Sigh. It's too bad this boy lives such a boring life! We also talk to him about his own music. His "Beat the Beat" and "Referee" singles have been heating up lately and his full EP is due soon. He'll be on the road performing at Pride events, too, so get ready, America. It's gonna be one hot summer! Also up this week, our resident gay etiquette expert STEVEN PETROW returns for his monthly segment with Scott. They talk about whether it's kosher to turn funerals into fundraisers; the dangers of social media-ing while drunk; the proposed boycott of North Carolina; and, the true meaning of 'fashionably late.' (Hint, it does NOT mean showing up for dinner 45 minutes after everyone sat down.) Our conversations with Steven keep getting better and we love that he's a part of the show. And mixed throughout today show, the hosts chat about pre-Capital Pride events; Scott's run-in with Sherry Vine in the Garden State; whether Jay-Z means what he says about same-sex marriage; Clay Aiken and his Face the Nation appearance; all the Fall 2012 television announcements from the networks; and, how one crazy lady in Nebraska thinks rimming will kill within 30-minutes flat! No joke. And finally, it's the third and final week of our new giveaway contest! You can enter to win a C-IN2 Prize Pack if you enter by 5:00pm EST on May 22. Find out how.

Go ahead, hate us! We’ve seen the first 3 new episodes of GLEE’s spring run to regionals. That’s right, New Directions finally meets Vocal Adrenaline and McKinley High will never be the same. We tried to respect the no spoiler rule and tip-toed our way around the first three new eps: “Hell-O”, “The Power of Madonna” and “Home.” We don’t reveal the song choices, who sings what, major plot points, etc. but if you really don’t want to know anything at all, you’ve been warned… It’s an all GLEE edition of the TV Talk Podcast, destination: cramazing.
