Psalm 51:7-19 Have you ever cried out to God for Assurance? Wash Me! Why is our renewal and spiritual cleansing necessary? Heal Me! How can we lose the joy of our salvation? Deliver Me! What is at the heart of our salvation?

YES, someone in the building drew one with their finger along with a "WASH ME"
You know back in ancient of days, men and women alike enjoyed the luxury of bathing and washing in luxurious baths or pools. They would immerse themselves in their private oasis. They washed and cleansed themselves and if not in luxury then with pails of water in a wooden tub. Nonetheless they did this regularly. Back to ancient of days the Romans loved washing and cleansing themselves with oils, balms and herbs, not only to one's body but one's spirit. The infusions and nuances of these are seen today through bath salts, body butters, infused candles but bringing a form of rejuvenation to you and me. But what is Wash Me about? To find out more tune in so Elder Audrey can chat some more...The following devotional is referenced to Psalm 51:7 but feel free to read the whole chapter. Happy beautiful Sunday from Into The Garden to you and yours. Kindly share with a friend, family member or two and watch God transform lives all thanks to you.

Psalm 51 is a beautiful psalm and prayer of confession. David cries for God's forgiveness, cleansing, and a new heart after his sin with Bathsheba. Let us be quick to confess our sins to him, who is faithful to forgive us and cleanse all unrighteousness. Devotiaonbles #468 - Wash Me, Lord Psalm 51 F260
A Devotional on 2 Chronicles 5:13, 14 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. In the scriptures Jesus says that He is the vine and God is the husbandman. Another name for husbandman is vinedresser. A vinedresser prunes, trains, and cultivates the vine so that it may reach its full potential. The Father is our Vinedresser. He knows what we need so that we can effectively travel the path He has set for us. Confusion sets into our lives when we stop submitting to His caretaking and try to go another way. Instead we need to get God's word in us and submit to the moving of His Spirit upon it. This message is entitled "Wash Me". Visit us at our site: kingdomrock.org

Meet the Mom of an Addicted Loved One, Rosalie Kauffman, who wrote a song, WASH ME, for her son and shares it here - acapella. (Listen all the way until the end.) She talks about where she found the words and how they came to life. ✳
What do you think the #1 gift Mom's want for Valentines Day is? Here's a couple hints; it costs nothing, and you don't have to do anything to get it. Can you guess what it is? Have you ever gotten a robo-call about your car's extended warranty? Anna is sick of getting these calls, so she did some research to find out where they are coming from. What she found out may surprise you! (3:36) Turning 30 is a big milestone, but if you do THIS in the middle of a quarantine, that's all I need to know about you! (7:35) Every week, Raven's wife Alicia calls in to the show and gives Raven a grade based on how he did as a husband! This week, Alicia realized that Raven has been watching her on the ring cameras in their home while he's at work! Do you believe his reason why? Find out his reason, and hear what grade he gets in the podcast! (11:11) What did you used to do that's just not cool anymore? Someone wrote “Wash Me” in Spanish on the back of Anna's dirty car. Who even does that nowadays?!? Anna and Raven talk about what's “not cool” anymore in 2021! (15:02) Does anyone REALLY understand Bitcoin? Anna certainly doesn't, so naturally she has an 8-year old on Youtube explain it to her! (22:31) Is there a better job out there than being a professional Chocolate Taster? Jim St. John works for Hershey as a Master Chocolate Maker (also an awesome job), and Anna and Raven ask him exactly what it takes to go pro in the chocolate game! (26:29) Do you have an…unfortunate name? Anna got a call from her local gym, asking her to sign up for a membership. Pretty typical boring call, but when the woman on the phone said her name was THIS, Anna couldn't focus on anything else! (30:21) Liam and Nancy were approached by their neighbor who lives across the street. He requested that Liam start to park his car further down the street because he's afraid that when his wife or son will back out of their driveway, and crash directly into his car. Liam says it's not his responsibility to teach his neighbors how to drive, just be careful. Why should he have to walk an extra thirty feet to his front door? His wife says it's their neighbors, be neighborly and just do it. Whose side are you on? (37:02) Aly has a chance to win $1800! All she has to do is beat Raven in pop culture trivia. Is she up to the task, or will the jackpot continue to grow? (43:24)

A few years ago, I conducted research of past clients to find out what was, and wasn't, working for them in terms of their job search. Several of my clients talked about getting their most recent job without conducting a job search. They took the approach of doing little things on a regular basis, rather than doing nothing…nothing…HIGH GEAR…you get the idea. As a result of that research, I coined the term “ARFO” – Always Ready for Opportunity. It is the idea that you should always be prepared to have conversations about job opportunities…and that there are certain steps you want to take to be prepared for those conversations. Why is ARFO a good idea? Maintenance Versus Repair. Here's an analogy: I can keep my car maintained and clean on an on-going basis. Spend a bit of time and money on a regular basis as part of the cost of ownership. OR I can neglect my car, not attend to the noises under the hood or the lights on the dashboard. I can let it get filthy dirty…people write WASH ME on my rear window. It's most likely going to cost me more to take the second approach, both in terms of time and money. At least it will feel that way. And I might get stranded on the side of the road by using the second approach. Truthfully, I might get stranded on the side of the road using the first approach too, but it's less likely and will probably be less devastating. My astute clients took the “maintenance” approach to their careers, recognizing that 1) it will “cost” them less in the long run, and 2) the possibility of getting “stranded” (i.e. finding themselves out of a job) is real, and they don't want to be left flat-footed. Even if you plan to conduct an active job search, ARFO can be a tremendous compliment to your other job search strategies. Here's why: Your “startup” phase will be much shorter because your marketing materials are always updated and your network was never allowed to go fallow. Your skills, education, and certifications are current, maximizing your marketability (and attractiveness) to potential employers. You can get in touch with recruiters who reached out to you recently to let them know you are now actively job seeking. Five Strategies for Practicing ARFO: 1. Keep a folder (electronic or paper) to centralize your accomplishments, performance evaluation, commendations, etc. These will be tremendously helpful when updating your marketing documents. 2. Maintain your resume and LinkedIn profile with new positions, shifts in job responsibilities, and accomplishments. You should be able to present your resume to a prospective employer on a moment's notice. 3. Dedicate time to your networking efforts. I recommend separating this into two “buckets:” on-line and in-person/virtual. Reach out to people on LinkedIn on a regular basis, and schedule coffee/lunch/phone conversations with those in your network. 4. Review your qualifications annually: are you missing any important credentials/certifications? Is there another level to which you can take your current credentials/certifications? 5. This one's so obvious I hesitate to mention it…do a great job where you're at. How you show up for your current role is your best…or worst…marketing tool. Give your current employer everything you have, no matter what the circumstances. How does this all relate specifically to 2020, when a pandemic has been raging for months and the U.S. is experiencing the highest unemployment rates in our lifetime? 1. If you are currently employed, you can still look for a job. You don't owe it to anyone else to hold off on your job search because so many are unemployed. After all, if you leave, that opens your current position for someone else. 2. Remember – recruiters like to hire the employed, so you are still more desirable because you have a job. Don't for a minute think that recruiters are only going after the unemployed because they can start more quickly – great companies want to hire great employees, employed or unemployed. 3. Networking needs to happen, even in a pandemic. Just get creative and look for networking venues online. You should never take your foot off the networking “pedal.” 4. Evaluate what you have – including the security of what you have – against the opportunity that is presented to you. Make an informed decision, then have your back about that decision. 5. Have those conversations with recruiters when they reach out to you. Listen to what they have to say. The position they are hiring for right now might not be a good fit, but you have an opportunity to cultivate a long-term relationship. Want help finding your next job? Study of Scripture: Matthew 8:5-10Did you know that THE JESUS WASH happens when you have a HEART POSTURE that is willing to beg Jesus for help and healing? A hard heart is hard to help. In this Bible study, Preacher Man Milo encourages each of us to examine our own heart’s before we approach Jesus for help and healing. This shared season of shelter-in-place (stemming from the coronavirus pandemic) has motivated many of us to make room in our hearts to call on the name of Jesus like never before. Checking our heart posture is the proper preparatory step before having a heart-to-heart with King Jesus!! The Biblical text for today’s lesson is found in chapter eight of the Gospel according to Matthew, when a centurion approached Jesus asking for help. Milo takes a verse-by-verse approach, using insight gleaned from the text to evaluate the heart posture of this centurion as a precursor to evaluating our own hearts. What heart posture do you have when you approach Jesus? Let’s find out!! The Jesus Wash This is the third Bible study offered on this podcast in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
