Famed UK singer-songwriter Robbie Williams stars in a grand retelling of his life and career - while taking on a new simian alter ego. Better Man depicts the star's career, from his childhood, to his Take That days, to his solo works, exposing all the pitfalls of fame in between - with Williams being represented by a CGI chimp. He says he felt compelled to do a biopic after a successful meeting with the film's director, Michael Gracey of The Greatest Showman fame. "The first time I saw it, I was like - this is mindblowing. It's absolutely incredible. But then I was like - hang on, I'm prone to ego and narcissism, maybe I just think it's the best thing I'd ever seen because it's about me." Though Larry Stewart was exposed to music early on, it was sports that initially captured his attention. After receiving a baseball scholarship to Nashville's Belmont College, Larry, whose father had passed away from a heart condition, found music as a way to close the gap he was feeling without his dad.“In some ways, I moved to Nashville to live out my father's dream,” admits Larry Stewart of what was to become his musical destiny. “When I got here, there were all kinds of people who valued musical talent–and I found myself slowly fitting into the music business.”“The way I act is very normal. I just do what I do and let it go at that,” explains the soft-spoken vocalist. “It comes from growing up in a small town where the people respected each other and looked after each other. The values I learned there pretty much shape the way I look at the world around me.“I had a pretty basic childhood. My parents loved me and I was around music from the first day I remember. My dad was a great singer and as I got older, I played piano for him, but I also played a lot of sports. They gave me support with whatever I did. They taught me lessons and gave me the tools to seek my dreams.”“Being in Restless Heart showed me how powerful music can be,” Stewart says, defining his motivations. “I always knew how much it moved me–and there I saw it did the same thing to other people. To me, you need to sing songs for more than yourself. Making records is a privilege. I think you need to find songs that might give people a little insight into their own lives. Or give them words they may not have to tell the people they care for how they're feeling.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/success-made-to-last-legends--4302039/support.

Listen in! Born in Lodi, CA, DYLI, the talented singer and songwriter, spent most of her life immersed in the vibes of Stockton, CA. It was here, among the diverse sounds and influences of the city, that her deep-rooted connection to music blossomed. The artist recently relocated back to her hometown, a move marking another chapter in her ever-evolving journey, one that is as much about her personal growth as it is about her musical evolution. DYLI was a child of melody and rhythm from the start, strumming the guitar by the age of six, a prelude to a future deeply intertwined with musical expressions. Her single “18+” remains a milestone, marking her coming of age as a songwriter who writes lyrics that are not only profoundly personal but universally relatable. The artist's latest release, “Tokyo,” is another energetic anthem encapsulating her ambitious goals and the relentless drive to transcend the mundane. With a decade of experience already under her belt, DYLI stands as a testament to the beauty of evolution, marking her space in the music world with lyrics that are as real and raw as they are poetic and profound. Every song is a glimpse into a soul that has grown up amidst melodies and harmonies, continually finding its voice in the symphony of sounds that is life. https://www.dylimusic.com/https://open.spotify.com/track/0RiXsZ3vn6NhsFHv9OYYFj?si=967442c10f6d4fa3 Hosted By: Terrance Hutchinson , Certified Health and Wellness Consultant and Coach Www.Yourbestlifestyles.com --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/yourbestlifestyles/message

Aaron Neville's first #1 hit, “Tell It Like it Is,” was released in 1966. In the mid-70s he formed the Neville Brothers with Art, Charles, and Cyril—now known as the “First Family of New Orleans”—and they released more than a dozen influential albums. Given his one-of-a-kind, soaring falsetto, Aaron was the breakout star, and over the next six decades, he had four platinum albums, three #1 songs, numerous film and television appearances, and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2014. His triple-platinum duets with Linda Ronstadt (including the Grammy-Award-winning hit “I Don't Know Much”) showcased the softer side of his voice, and the smoking hot funky soul of the Neville Brothers cemented his legacy as an R&B legend. But few people know the challenging and circuitous road Aaron took to fame. Born in a housing project in New Orleans of Black and Native American heritage, Aaron struggled as a teenage father working to raise a family while building his career as a musician, surviving a stint in jail for car theft and many years battling heroin addiction. Recognized by the dagger tattoo on his cheek and his St. Jude medallion earring, Neville credits St. Jude—the patron saint of lost cases—for turning his life around. He found healing and salvation in music. Aaron Neville is a man who by all accounts should not have made it. Tell It Like It Is shares his story for the first time. https://www.amazon.com/Tell-Like-Story-Aaron-Neville/dp/0306832534

Episode 79. Host Troy Saunders has his latest conversation with award-winning soul singer and songwriter Teri Tobin. Her music is uplifting and soothing, from the heart, a spiritual experience, all in one beautiful package.Teri does the interview from her home in Arizona. She was born there, raised in Southern California, lived all over the place, eventually ending up in Houston. After a hurricane damaged her home and caused her to lose her job, she decided it was time to go back home to be with her family.Teri has performed from a very young age, starting in church, and then getting signed as a teenager to a deal as part of an R&B and hip-hop soul act. When that project faltered, she pursued a promised solo deal that never materialized, before finally finding her place at Howard University, where she found her footing and developed her signature sound of hybrid musical influences from soulful rock to jazzy R&B. Album releases include “Love Infinity” (2011), “Good To Me” (2012), and “Truth Is” (2014).Since her last album, she's dealt with writer's block and a severe bout of COVID that affected her voice, so it's never been the same. She shares a touching story about how when she recorded a song with her “new” voice, she was forced to re-record the lead vocals and face new challenges while still in recovery, which helped her build her confidence to keep making music. She's currently working on her fifth album, “Forever,” and discusses how she is a true indie artist. She has produced and recorded almost all of her own music, and handles every aspect of her music and career. She's hoping that the new album will be out by the fall, so follow her social media accounts for news about the upcoming release and her performance schedule.Listen and subscribe to the BAAS Entertainment Podcast on Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Podchaser, Spotify, Stitcher and TuneIn. “Hey, Alexa.
