There is now a powerful race and high-powered competitiveness in world leaders to obtain AI centralized power. AI is already now the standard of humanity in all facets of life, business, education, science and religion. Basically, it has become a god and Satan is the god who is behind it.I can clearly see the humanity that is today leaving to enter a new race of humanity, for a new system, for a new world, for a new community-global governance, for the Antichrist. The coming days are quickly approaching that will force all people to obtain a World ID in order to live basic lives, that will prepare them for the ultimate mark of the beast. Souls in exchange for a Christ-less eternity.“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” - Revelation 3:11. We spoke about all kinds of crimes and violent acts that are happening. As we spoke about the kinds of protection people are turning to a strong wind of thought enterened into my heart. My mind began to remember all the many countless supernatural events in the Bible of wars and victories won from heavenly armies. I recalled powerful, other-worldly testimonies from simple missionaries, men, women and even children who cried out to the Lord throughout the ages. Many of their persecutors and would-be killers later testified to seeing huge, maginificent men (angels) with weapons never seen on earth before. Others stopped criminals in the very act of life threatening situations by telling them to "Stop! Jesus does not want you to do it!" Only to have them throw down their weapon and run away. The weighty stories are endless, but the point is that there is a another spiritual dimension that we have been made a part of through the new birth. Jesus wants us to have daring faith, and to ask for help from Him, the Lord Sabaoth, "The Lord of Armies." To expect all of the supernatural weaponry of heaven to win battles for us."Do not let anyone deceive you. Spiritual darkness can never be expelled except by union with Christ." - William Gurnall

It is normal in the world of the ungodly. It is expected. However, I have seen believers lust for the same thing, except the powers are different. They want God's power. It is a good, even a wonderful thing to be filled with the power of God. But there are limits I believe God has to set. I was reading about the disciples who "reasoned among themselves who would be the greatest." Jesus then "perceiving their heart took a child and set him with Him," and not with them. He pointed out that whosoever receives a child in His name receives Him and the Father. A nameless man was casting out demons in Jesus name and that offended John and the other disciples because he was not one of the "chosen" followers of Christ. But Jesus forbade it and commanded to let him go on doing it because he was doing it in the name of the Lord.James and John wanted to call down fire from heaven and consume the people of Samaria. Jesus rebuked them saying they had no idea of what manner of spirit they were of. Definitely not God's Spirit. These scenarios are prime examples of how God's power can corrupt people quickly thereby destroying others. The imagery of humbleness is extraordinary in these sequences. And who really were the ones who held all the power in Jesus name. A child and a nameless man. Seek to be humble and nameless in Jesus name. "Here is a word for Christians. Knowing your strength lies wholly in God and not in yourself, remain humble – even when God is blessing and using you most.” - William Gurnall

We are fast tracking into the beast system through Technocracy, and Bio Digital Convergence, which is the merging of biological and digital technologies to create new applications and technologies. It was announced that the 500 billion dollar Stargate Project for AI infrastructure, AGI is "coming very, very soon," and superintelligence is the goal in what will be the beginning of a Golden Age for America. Stargate's plan is to blanket America with new data centers, needed to power the next generation of AI capabilities. It is said that "knowledge is power." To this world it is power, but the believers in Christ rely only on Jesus Christ's Omnipotent power and no one elses. Listen as Tony Koretz and I discuss this frightening advancement that will give you deeper insight and understanding of what is not only coming, but is here already. " And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment." - 1 Chronicles 12:32. "Do not let anyone deceive you. Spiritual darkness can never be expelled except by union with Christ." ~ William Gurnall
Psalm 32:1-5 If we are to move forward in our walk with Jesus in the year ahead, we must learn to deal honestly with God as His Spirit comes in searching power to discover the true nature of our hearts. William Gurnall that old Puritan put it well when he said, “Sincerity is that property to which pardoning mercy is annexed. True, indeed, it is that Christ covers all our sins and failings; but it is only the sincere soul over which he will cast his skirt”. C.H. Spurgeon said, “The lesson from the whole is this: be honest. Sinner, may God make you honest. Do not deceive yourself. Make a clean breast of it before God. Have an honest religion, or have none at all. Have a religion of the heart, or else have none. Put aside the mere vestment and garment of piety, and let your soul be right within. Be honest”. This sermon calls for a frank and full confession so that we might receive full forgiveness!

William Gurnall a 17th century English clergyman said, "Sincerity enables the Christian to do two things which the hypocrite cannot -- to speak good of God, and to expect good from God." The inscription on John Owen's grave says he is "a traveler on earth who grasped God like one in heaven." Later, he was called "the Prince of Puritans." How did he earn these high praises while navigating one of the most tumultuous times in British history, when hundreds of others were forced to leave the country? Why did they find six boxes of pistols in his house? And how was he instrumental in bringing John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress to print? Christian, Grace, and Hannah discuss these questions and others with Dr. Lee Gatiss, the director of Church Society, editor of the NIV Proclamation Bible, and a lecturer in Church History at Union School of Theology, on this episode of Kids Talk Church History. Thanks to the generosity of our friends at Reformation Heritage Books, we are excited to offer a bundle of Simonetta Carr's books to two listeners! We live in a time when in North America fewer people identify as Christians. We have the stats to prove it. But people aren’t simply becoming apathetic, many are becoming increasingly hostile and antagonistic towards faith. Do you know what to say when someone challenges you? Jesus experienced challenges and confrontations on multiple occasions. This sermon explores two such challenges in Mark 2:18-28. We look not only at what he said, but his pattern of response. This continues to be instructive for us today. In Ephesians 6 the Scriptures are referred to as the “sword of the Spirit.” With that in mind, William Gurnall wrote: “The sword of the Spirit in another person’s hand will not defend you.”

Thank you. In the beginning of our new birth the Lord will have us fight the enemy. I believe He does so in order for us to gain strength, not our own, but His like those mentioned in Hebrews chp 11:32-34. After we have waxed strong in the fight and quenched the violence of the fire, shut the mouths of lions, and rerouted enemies, then at the end of our lives, He finishes the fight. As we age in the battle we find ourselves like David, who "waxed faint." Nevertheless, there will appear new giants of the wicked one to overcome, "Being girded with new swords," others will come with "spears like weavers beams." There will be formidable "men of giant stature" who will take the place of other enemies we have overcome. Yet still, they will fall by the eternal sword of the Lord, and by His hand through us, His servants. We will not fear "New swords" or their apparent mighty weapons, and satan's "great men of stature." The Light of Israel, Jesus Christ can never be quenched in us. Beyond earth is heaven.... "Be faithful unto death and He shall give unto you the crown of life." Revelation 2:10 "God loves the saints as the purchase of his Son's blood. They cost him dear, and that which is so hardly got shall not be easily lost. He that was willing to expend his Son's blood to gain them, will not deny his power to keep them." ~ William Gurnall "Past tears are present strength." ~ George Matheson --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/joanie-stahl/support
William Gurnall wrote “We fear men so much because we fear God so little.” Do we fear God? Do we understand God's heart for justice? Do we trust in God's justice? Nehemiah chapter 5 shows us that God-fearing people accept the responsibility of confronting injustice and addressing sin, while doing so with courage and a commitment to righteousness.

"3 Pastors and a Hot Pink Book"...well at least that was the suggested title of this episode by one of our guests haha! We sat down with Justin Bise, Kaylee Jackson, and Ryan Robinette to discuss the best books each of us read over the past year. A meditation and prayer on uplifting others in prayer. "The spirit of prayer is a public treasure, though laid up in some few hands. All cannot pray, therefore all should be prayed for," says William Gurnall. It is a difficult question to ask ourselves if we have hearts that are bound pray — and pray for others. Are we too distracted to see, too selfish to hear, and too busy to act on behalf of others in prayer?www.incense-ptl.comeric@incense-ptl.comTexts:1 Samuel 12:18-24excerpt - "Purpose in Prayer" by E.M. Last week I was having downward day of frustration and stress. I gave in to outward grumbling and complaining. Within minutes I felt the Holy Spirit convicting me stronger than I have felt in a very long time. I had grieved the Holy Spirit. Yet with His correction came much mercy and revelation I did not expect. As soon as I repented I heard the words, "Every wise woman buildeth her house, but the foolish woman plucketh it down with her hands." Proverbs 14:1. Immediately another verse came rushing in, "In all thy ways acknowledge Him...." Proverbs 3:6. The teaching began. Over the next three days I was in the classroom of the Holy Spirit. Because my heart was torn open I was able to receive deeper understanding and light. The Lord was teaching me about how to build up my house in loving people, praying for them instead of complaining. I saw my own need for forgiveness and mercy in my failure. I felt so bad. We are human, and we are going to feel stress, frustration, anger and many more hot emotions. And yes we are going to have moments of letting it out. But if we do not know when to stop saying negative things, then we are going to pull our houses down. Then the invading forces of the enemy will come in and Satan will become master of our spiritual houses (ourselves), and of our homes. I understand that the reverse of that is speaking to the Lord, good over those we love. This is the building up of strong fortress-like homes where the enemy cannot come in. Where the light of Christ will remain. “They say stars have greatest influences when they are in conjunction with the sun; then sure the graces of a saint should never work more powerfully than in prayer, for then he is in the nearest conjunction and communion with God." ― William Gurnall, The Christian in Complete Armour --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/joanie-stahl/support

"We fear men so much because we fear God so little. One fear cures the other." This quotation from Puritan preacher William Gurnall drastically impacted Jeffrey Arthurs when he heard it quoted by one of his students. In this encouraging conversation with Mike, Dr Arthurs speaks candidly about overcoming the fear of man, the power of specificity and the importance of knowing the cultural context both of the passage being preached, and the lives of the congregation. They also speak about Haddon Robinson's Subject/Complement distinction, feedforward vs feedback, the hidden hope in lament, and variety in literary genres and their impact on our preaching styles and so much more!
Pastor Dan and Pastor Residents Mike and Ryan sit down for a conversation where they begin to define discipleship. Here they will attempt to begin to bring discipleship into a more practical and common space beyond what happens on a Sunday morning. Join them for a conversation as they work through what key aspects of discipleship may look like for them and for you.Recommended Reading: - Renovation of the Heart by Dallas Williard- The Christian in Complete Armour by William Gurnall

QUOTES FOR REFLECTION “Fear doesn't deserve your obedience.” ~Jackie Hill Perry (1989-present), Author, poet, and artist “We fear men so much because we fear God so little.” ~William Gurnall (1616-1679), Anglican clergyman “The remarkable thing about fearing God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else.” ~Oswald Chambers (1874-1917), Scottish teacher and evangelist “…All the evil in this world Can be traced back to not fearing the Lord… And if fear of the Lord is a fountain of life Then not fearing the Lord must lead to death And that's where we all stand In the prophet Isaiah chapter 11 We find a prophecy about a Savior to come And it says in verse 3 that His delight Shall be in the fear of the Lord That Savior is none other than Jesus Christ Who lived a life of perfect obedience to God's law Jesus feared God perfectly And He died on the cross and rose from the grave To save His people from their sins So that all who trust Him can joyfully walk In the fear of the Lord Forever.” ~Eshon Burgundy w/ Shai Linne “God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.” ~C.S. Lewis (1898-1963), British writer and theologian “The [Christian] message is that there is hope for a ruined humanity – hope of pardon, hope of peace with God, hope of glory – because at the Father's will Jesus became poor, and was born in a stable so that thirty years later He might hang on a cross.” ~J.I. Packer, 1926-2020, Theologian, cleric, and author SERMON PASSAGE Isaiah 11:1-10 (ESV) 1 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. 3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, 4 but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. 5 Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. 6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. 9 They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. 10 In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples—of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be Glory…
