"주님, 보십시오. 내 소유의 절반을 가난한 사람들에게 주겠습니다. 또 내가 누구에게서 강제로 빼앗은 것이 있으면, 네 배로 하여 갚아 주겠습니다." And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” 9 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. "오늘 구원이 이 집에 이르렀다. 이 사람도 아브라함의 자손이다. And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10 인자는 잃은 것을 찾아 구원하러 왔다." Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.' 14 그런데 그의 시민들은 그를 미워하므로, 그 나라로 사절을 뒤따라 보내서 '우리는 이 사람이 우리의 왕이 되는 것을 원하지 않습니다' 하고 말하게 하였다. And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. 8 나는 네 상전의 왕궁을 너에게 넘겨 주고, 네 상전의 아내들도 네 품에 안겨 주었고, 이스라엘 사람들과 유다 나라도 너에게 맡겼다. 그것으로도 부족하다면, 내가 네게 무엇이든지 더 주었을 것이다. The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness, for the Lord gave you into my hand today, and I would not put out my hand against the Lord's anointed. 24 그러므로 내가 오늘 임금님의 생명을 귀중하게 여겼던 것과 같이, 주님께서도 나의 생명을 귀중하게 여기시고, 어떠한 궁지에서도 나를 건져 내어 주실 것입니다." Behold, as your life was precious this day in my sight, so may my life be precious in the sight of the Lord, and may he deliver me out of all tribulation.” 25 사울이 다윗에게 말하였다.
