Dedication, teamwork, and strategic planning played a crucial role in the early moments of the fire response. The fire was successfully extinguished due to the rapid response and seamless coordination between the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA), Prescott Fire Department, and Cottonwood Fire Department Ladder 411, alongside support from the Prescott Valley Police Department, Prescott Regional Communications Center, Yavapai County Sheriff's Office, and numerous other assisting agencies. There were no injuries reported and neighboring buildings were protected. The Patriot Run is a 10k, 5k, and 1-mile run fundraiser that benefits the Central Arizona Honor Guard and helps support their mission to “Honor the fallen and honor the flag”.
