You know what it is! A few of the Recs on here are some of the first records I ever owned 23 years ago. Its funny to me that are parents listen to Rolling Stones and Marvin Gay for their oldies. Where I will listen to Ragga Jungle anthems for my oldies. Every time I play these records I feel a deep feeling of joy, nastalgia, and Metal as Fuck!Big Up all the old school Jungliest. You are all a bunch of Geezers! Stay Tuned, DJ Panther Support the show
Yo Yo Can you believe it, its a new year and life and reality keep getting more surreal and Sci-fi with every year passing. So I thought we would start the new year with some Old School ( and Nu School ) funky vibes. You gonna like this one. This DJ mix even jumps into some funky house towards the later half. I was defiantly in the flow and it felt really good. I hope this year flows for you all. Hears to another year of dope mixing and scratching. Happy New year!DJ PantherNote: To my listeners that have stuck with me, I know this season was light on new mixes. It was a crazy year we moved (again), health problems, developing a career and a three year old... so unfortunately the podcast gets pushed to the back burner sometimes. That being said, maybe I can get more mixes up for season five. Any donations via the web page helps. Thanks so much for sicking with me and checking my styles!Support the show

Kick back, relax and get in the zone with these jazzy beats. The tracks for this mix took some digging but I am most pleased with the outcome. Jungle in the mid to late 90's had more jazz samples and influence. In this mix I tried to capture that nostalgic feeling that I had back then hearing jungle for the first time. Where my Old School Junglists at!!I Had to dust off some wax for this one. Jungle and Drum and Base was the first Dance music that I fell in love with in the late 90's. Know as Jungleists, we had a large crew that would roll to Raves and Jungle Parties to dance, pop, break, cause trouble and represent Junglist style. These where some of the best memories of my life, no fear just music, community and dancing. Since those days my appreciation for different genres of music has expanded exponentially. That being said Jungle is still my favorite music to dance to or hear at the club. BIG UP TO MY OG JUNGLISTS!!Stay Tuned,DJ Panther
For all you Reggae fans out there... Here is your quarterly drop. Shit might be Icy out but these big tunes are starting fires. Stay Tuned DJ Panther

"The night of August 11th, 1973 DJ Kool Herc performed the Merry go round at a party he was throwing for his sister and Coke La Rock became the first MC ever when he shouted people out during the breaks of Kool Herc. That night was the first night all the elements of hip-hop came together to become “Hip-Hop, there was Djing, MCing(to the breaks), breakdancing (to the breaks), and graffiting. There are four elements of Hip-Hop; DJing, MCing(Emceeing), Breakdancing (B-Boying/B-Girling), and Graffiting."Read more: The OG 4 Elements of Hip-Hop https://dailyrapfacts.com/16270/the-4-elements-of-hip-hop/This is one from the vault of forgotten mixtapes. We opened for big jungle talent like Hive, AK 1200, Danny the Wildchild and Reid Speed to name a few. That was back in the early 2000s.
