CLR Show 1921. Air Date April 2, 2024. While it seems likely the New York courts will find Trump guilty within the next 2 months, it remains unknown what sort of sentence will be imposed. At one extreme, Donald may still find himself a free man campaigning for the presidency. Which means he must be defeated at the ballot box, and it's becoming increasingly apparent that his defeat is more than just a possibility. At that point, if there are still unsettled criminal cases against him, we can all expect to see the wheels of justice continuing to grind slowly... but, ultimately, grinding Donald very finely.

March Sauceness continues! Every week this month, Chef Plum will teach you an easy, fast recipe for a delicious weeknight dinner. Today, it's all about Arrabiata, spicy goodness with your rigatoni! INGREDIENTS: 6 tablespoons olive oil 4 fresh mixed-color chillies 1 clove garlic For the Pangrattato topping. Olive oil For the Pangrattato topping. 1 sprig rosemary For the Pangrattato topping. breadcrumbs For the Pangrattato topping. 4 cloves garlic 1/2 bunch fresh flat-leaf parsley (15 grams). 1 lemon 300 grams spaghetti Salt To taste. 75 milliliters vodka or water 400 grams tin of plum tomatoes Extra virgin olive oil (If using). HOW TO MAKE: Put a large frying pan over medium heat with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Prick the chilies 6 to 8 times with a small sharp knife. Add the chilies and let them cook slowly for 5 minutes, turning with tongs occasionally. For the pangrattato topping, peel and finely slice the garlic. Place the sliced garlic in another frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil on medium heat. Strip in the rosemary leaves and fry for 2 minutes, or until the rosemary is crispy and the garlic starts to soften (you don't want it to color). Add the breadcrumbs and fry until golden and crisp, tossing regularly. Place into a bowl and put aside. For the arrabbiata sauce, peel and finely slice the garlic. Finely chop the parsley stalks (put the leaves aside for later). Finely grate the lemon zest. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling salted water according to the packet instructions. Add the garlic, and parsley stalks to the chilies, along with the lemon zest, moving everything around the pan. Pour in the vodka, then carefully tilt the pan to catch the flame (or light it with a long match) and let it flambé – stand back! Let the flames subside (if you need to put the flame out, swiftly place a large metal lid over the pan). (If you're afraid to do this, just don't! You don't need to! Still tastes delicious!) Add the canned tomatoes, breaking them up with the back of a wooden spoon. Add a splash of pasta cooking water. Gently bash the chilies to release more of their flavor into the sauce. Taste, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Use tongs to drag the pasta straight into the sauce. Roughly chop and scatter the parsley leaves into the pan, then toss everything together. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, if you like. Divide between bowls or serve on a big platter. Top with the pangrattato.

Andrew and I then move into a discussion about how technology, both computing and hardware, have revolutionised the business, the quality of the end product and the throughput gains. We then investigate the impacts that Artificial Intelligence has had in this space for the business, how it can assist, its limitations and what the future may hold. I really enjoyed chatting with Andrew who is an all-round good guy, innovator and passionate business owner. The subject of teeth may seem slightly esoteric for a business podcast but trust me the story is well worth listening to and nowhere near as painful as visiting the dentist!. Chef Eric Ripert of the acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant Le Bernardin joins us to discuss his new cookbook, Seafood Simple, featuring easy-to-follow recipes for home cooks. Salmon StrudelServes 4 To achieve a light crispy, flaky phyllo crust, wrap the salmon in the phyllo neatly, but leave just enough room for the dough to create layers. If you wrap the fish too tightly, it will prevent the phyllo from becoming crunchy and will render the pastry soft and soggy. This is an easy recipe once you learn to work fast, and while it's designed to serve four, you may want to halve the recipe and try it for two the first time you make it. SALMON11/2- pound center-cut salmonfillet, skinned and pin bonesremoved, cut into four 4 ×2-inch rectangles 2 inches thickFine sea salt and freshlyground white pepper16 sheets phyllo dough, cutto 12 ×12 inches6 tablespoons unsaltedbutter, melted TRUFFLE BUT TER2/3 cup truffle juice1 stick (4 ounces) unsaltedbutter, cut into small pieces1/2 ounce finely choppedblack trufflesFine sea salt and freshlyground white pepper TO FINISH3 tablespoons canola oilFinely julienned freshblack truffle for garnish SPECIAL EQUIPMENTPastry brushMetal skewer 1. Wrap the salmon: Season the salmon fillets with sea salt and whitepepper on all sides. 2. Using a pastry brush, paint the top of one sheet of phyllo withsome melted butter. Top with a second phyllo sheet and brush withbutter. Repeat twice more for a total of 4 buttered phyllo sheets.Fold the pile in half to make a 12 × 6-inch rectangle. Brush the topwith butter again. Center a salmon fillet crosswise at a short end ofthe rectangle, then roll it up in the phyllo dough to enclose; the endscan remain open. Repeat with the remaining phyllo and salmon. 3. Make the truffle butter: In a small saucepan, bring the truffle juiceto a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until reduced to 3 to4 tablespoons, about 7 minutes. Whisk in the butter, a bit at a time, until it is fully incorporated. Stir in the chopped truffles. Removefrom the heat, season with salt and white pepper, and set aside untilready to serve. 4. To finish: Divide the canola oil between two large nonstick pansand heat over medium heat. Add 2 salmon-phyllo packets to eachpan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 16 minutestotal. Reduce the heat to medium-low if the phyllo browns tooquickly. A metal skewer inserted into the thickest part of the fish for5 seconds should feel warm when touched to your wrist. 5. Using a serrated knife, trim the ends off each salmon-phyllo bun-dle, then gently slice each into 6 or 7 slices. Fan the slices onto warmplates and finish with warm truffle butter and julienne of truffles forgarnish. Cook the carrot and onion with a pinch of salt for about 10 minutes, until soft and translucent. Add the wine, increase heat to medium and simmer for 1–2 minutes. Add the bay leaf, tomato, garlic and lentils and cover with chicken stock. Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 40 minutes, or until the lentils are al dente. Add the cavolo nero, stir for a minute or two, then cover and remove from the heat. For the salsa verde, place the bread in a small bowl. Add just enough milk to cover the bread and leave to soak for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the excess milk and set aside. Finely chop the garlic. Add the salt, capers and anchovies and continue to chop. Add the parsley and the bread and keep chopping until everything is nicely combined. Transfer to a bowl, add the lemon zest and juice and enough olive oil to loosen the mixture. It finally happened. After numerous ritual sacrifices, This Is Rad! has finally appeased the podcasting gods. In celebration River's Langley presents us with “Oops all sides” and we discuss the shortcomings of west coast BBQ sides game. We may have learned the meats, but we still have much to learn. Also, burnside make some bangin' chicken wings, Laura made bomb ass cookies, and Taylor (with Kyle) made reese's peanut butter bars. Look below for River's recipies. We'll also share them on our social!   made reese's peanut butter bars. Look below for River's recipies. We'll also share them on our social!   Weekly Rads: Taylor – Spider Solitare apps Laura – Good Omens Season 2 (Show) Matthew – Sleepstalker (1995) (film) Rivers – Bass Pro Shop (retail chain) Kyle - Edward Scissorhands (movie)   ----- RECIPIES: Funeral Potatoes AKA Hashbrown Casserole Ingredients: - (1) 30 oz. Bag of frozen, shredded hash browns - (1) 10.5 oz Can of cream of chicken soup - (1) 8 oz Container of sour cream - (2) Red bell pepper - (2) Yellow onions - (2) Garlic cloves (minced) - (2) Small handfuls of Utz crunchy potato stix - (1.5) Sticks of butter - ⅔ Cup of shredded gouda cheese - ⅓ Cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese - ½ Tablespoon of Black Pepper - ½ Tablespoon of Smoked Paprika Thaw out frozen hash browns and then put them in a big mixing bowl. Pour in the entire can of chicken soup. Pour in the entire container of sour cream. Pour in both cheeses but leave enough to put on top at the end. Finely chop the two onions and the two peppers.    Put them in a skillet with the 1.5 sticks of butter and the minced garlic.    Cook until it smells good.    Strain the contents through a colander or cheesecloth allowing the butter to separate into a separate bowl from the vegetables. Add in the veggies and the black pepper and then use a thick wooden spoon to combine all the ingredients. Spread everything out evenly into a casserole dish. Sprinkle the smoked paprika, Utz potato stix, and remaining cheese evenly on top Take the strained butter and brush it on top of the dish. Cook uncovered for 45 mins or so on 350° Collard Greens Ingredients: (5) bunches of collards (2) Smoked ham hocks (2) 32 oz boxes of chicken stock (2) Garlic cloves (minced) (2) Tablespoons of brown sugar (1.5) Medium yellow onions (1) Hot and Spicy Conecuh Sausage (1) Splash of apple cider vinegar (1) Splash of Texas Pete Hot Sauce (1) Tablespoon of salt (1) Tablespoon of Cajun or Creole seasoning (½) Tablespoon of black pepper (½) Tablespoon of smoked paprika (½) Tablespoon of red pepper flakes Dice up onions. Put them in the bottom of the crockpot. Put all your sugar, salt, and spices into the crockpot on top of the onions. Splash a bit of apple cider vinegar and a bit of hot sauce into the crockpot. Wash collards and then begin slicing collards vertically away from their stems. Throw stems away and then slice them again horizontally until you make strips. Fill the crock pot with greens. Press them down to make them fit if you have to. They will all eventually get cooked and will shrink and compress in the process.   Put the two ham hocks on top of the greens. Pour in the two containers of chicken stock. Cover the crockpot and cook for 12-15 hours on low stirring occasionally. When greens get soft enough, submerge the ham hocks if they aren't already. After about 10 hours, pull the ham hocks out and let them cool. Pull out whatever meat you can and throw that back in the crockpot and dispose of the bones. When the greens are almost done, chop up the Conecuh sausage and stir it into the greens. Let that cook for 30 minutes or so. Then turn off the crock pot and let the greens sit uncovered for 30 minutes and serve. Coca-Cola BBQ Baked Beans Ingredients: (2) Red Bell Peppers (2) Tablespoons of dried mustard powder (like Coleman's) (2) Garlic cloves (minced) (1.5) Medium Yellow Onions (1) One pound of ground beef (1) One pound of bacon (1) Cup of ketchup (1) Cup of brown sugar (1) 20 oz. Coca-Cola (1) 16 oz. can of red beans (1) 16 oz. can of black beans (1) 16 oz. can of pinto beans (1) Tablespoon salt (1) Tablespoon black pepper (1) Tablespoon smoked paprika Pour Coca-Cola, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard powder, minced garlic, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt into a sauce pan. Turn on high and then continuously stir until it thickens up. I mean, you gotta stir this thing pretty much the whole time. Add more ketchup if you want it thicker. Once it gets viscous, set BBQ sauce aside and let it cool down a bit. Strain three cans of beans and put them into a large mixing bowl. Chop up onions and red peppers and put them into the mixing bowl as well. Cook and drain 1 lb of ground beef in a skillet. Let it cool for a minute. Cook 1 lb of bacon in the same skillet. Drain bacon but save the grease. Run bacon through a food processor or just chop it up small and add to the mixing bowl. Pour in the Coca-Cola BBQ sauce Pour in ½ of the leftover bacon grease Stir everything together. Spread out into a casserole dish. Cook covered in the oven for 45 mins or so on 350°. Take Note: “Work from Home” attire no longer means pajama pants. Most of us have had to migrate back to the real world at some level – whether it be hybrid, full-time or even still remote.    It doesn't really matter – you need to know what is acceptable to wear to work now – because while people are still dressing comfortably, there IS a dress code to follow.    PANTS: Let's talk about the difference between pants and jeans. Some like to call them slacks. Some people call them trousers. The truth of the matter is, y'all have no excuse not to have a good-fitting and comfortable pair of slacks. #TRUTH   With the advancement of fabric technology, this is what people are really demanding: wrinkle free, easy to care for, easy to travel in, comfortable pants. By the way? This means you.   These are not sweatpants, or joggers, or pajama pants. They are pants made with quality fabrics and with quality seams and finishes.    Shopping tip: Look for fabrics that give you a bit of stretch in the material, and importantly, a little support in the stomach and/or the butt.  Finely made slacks will hold you up and hold you in - and will take you through an active day without wrinkles. Loving this journey for you!   Slacks are real pants that can be seen in the real world. Just in case you forgot? I know I did for a hot minute.    Choose a dark color to start the foundation of your outfit, like a navy, black, smokey grey or even burgundy.  Any of these colors will create a great foundation for work outfits.   BECAUSE YOU'RE MY FAVE PERSON:  All of these styles are on Holly's Pinterest board – if you are ready to research and purchase. You can doooo it!   She has done all the work for you. You will find some moderately-priced, and some high-priced options, but for a quality pair of pants for work, you should be spending at least $150 or more for things that will incorporate into well-constructed outfit.    Holly' Picks for Pants:   High Rise Flair by Spanx The Atala Pant by Veronica Beard Maeve Avery High Rise Pleated Wide Leg Trouser at Anthropologie Kick Cotton-Blend Cropped Pants from High Sport   DRESSES: If you want to really be comfortable – and be dressed nicely at the same time – the answer is always a dress or skirt.  You can move around, sit, look presentable in and out of the office, and be active. We are not talking fancy or dressy, but pretty and presentable dresses!   Wearing dresses and skirts are a favorite of Holly's when working with her clients. Dresses are easier to wear more than anything else. It is the epitome of comfort when having to be on your feet all day, or moving around a lot, or talking to people all day.    A dress is the no-brainer for a what to wear to work solution.  Just make sure you choose quality fabrics that you cannot see through (a lined dress is best), and that you conduct the Holly Sit-Down Test:  Your dress is too short if you sit down and you can see parts that shouldn't been seen. Choose a knee-length dress for work; just make sure it's not ass-tastic when you sit.   Also, these are not special occasion dresses. If you need shapewear to wear a certain dress, it's not a work dress. You don't need that kind of body-conscious stress in your life all day at work! #PREACH   Holly's Picks for Dresses:   Petite Lena Dress by Hobbs London Valentine Dress by Ramy Brook  Averiee Draped Neck Midi Dress by Ted Baker Kamala Dress by Trina Turk   BLOUSES: Sleeve length is critical here. Some like to show their arms, some do not. It doesn't really matter as a beautiful blouse on top of your solid foundational slack is the work outfit uniform you need. But, you should really have a mix of both, and not to wear the same thing all the time.   Holly's Picks for Blouses:   Frankie Henley in Noir by Frame. Nemona top by ba&sh Calli Tuxedo Blouse by Reiss Kallie Bodysuit by L'Agence So, to recap: You wear pants with a top, or a comfortable dress, or a skirt with a top to work now. 2023. No pajama pants on the bottom for zoom. I will find you.   But that is not the end of it. There is much more we could discuss – like jackets, accessories and shoes. But we are taking baby steps back into the world.    So, let's start with pants. Be the best dressed in your office. They should pay you for being so hot. xoxoxo Holly Katz  "The best friend you never knew you needed in fashion." The ONLY Holly you need to know-live it, learn it, love it.

Relationship stress can trigger both negative emotions and physical responses. When these negative emotions and traumas are left untreated, they can manifest into physical health issues. Relationships can already be hard for many people, but they don't have to be hard for you. In this Light Up Your Worth episode host Debbie McAllister, and coach, Janessa Finley dive into the differences between functional and conventional medicine, how trauma can be stored in our bodies and cause medical concerns and how amazing our bodies are with healing. Janessa Finley is a healer and coach whose mission is to bring love and connection to those who have all but given up on having fulfilling and nurturing relationships. At the core of every single human is a need for connection, yet we inadvertently create patterns to push others away and protect ourselves. Sadly, this leads to never cultivating the loving relationships our hearts desire. The secret lies in the relationship you have with yourself as it creates the relationships you have with others. Janessa teaches, through a path of self-discovery, how to love and embrace yourself so you can extend this same love and connection to others.
