Welcome back Fan Footage listeners! In this episode we talk about the last 5 episodes of the Disney+ hit The Mandalorian. We talk about the reveals, the baby, and the Dark Saber!! We also talked about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, finally getting to watch Ready or Not, and brace ourselves for the Rise of Skywalker discussion. We're back! We know it's been a while, but we're here to bring you some nerdy conversation again! This episode is about the launch of Disney+, the Mandalorian, the recent Rook & Pawn 24 Board Gameathon for charity and our total lack of movie watching in 2019, which unsurprisingly makes it very hard to make End of the Year "Best Of" lists. In this episode we also briefly talked about UGA football even though Jeremiah was completely uninterested, Dennis Villeneuve winning director of the decade, BossLogic, and more. Give us a listen! Reach out to us on instagram, Justin - @ipunchewoks, Jeremiah - @JPTronwalker, and the Podcast - @fanfootagepodcast. Thanks for your support this year, it means a lot! In this episode we continue where we left off with Episode 10's fan theories. One particular theory involves the Harry Potter franchise and a Death Eater. We also talked about recent movie news, the Disney/Fox merger, and Star Wars. In addition, at the top of the podcast we discussed a listener of the podcast who currently has a gofundme for legal reasons. This listener was a friend of Justin's in his hometown and roommate for a brief period in time. The link to the gofund me is http://www.gofundme.com/f/freekevyn. As always, reach out to us on Instagram: Justin- @ipunchewoks; JP - @jptronwalker.
In this episode Justin and JP searched the internet for the best Fan Theories for famous movies ranging from The Town with Ben Affleck to Avengers: Endgame. They looked for fan theories that were better than the actual movie itself or fan theories that make you think twice about certain movies. This is Part One of that search as Part Two will focus a little more on the Harry Potter universe which has an endless supply of fan theories. We'd like to cover some listener submitted theories as well, so if you have any theories reach out to us on Instagram (Justin - @ipunchewoks; JP - @jptronwalker; The Podcast - @fanfootagepodcast).
This episode is all about Game of Thrones Episodes 1-5, so if you're behind on watching, SPOILER ALERT!!!! We talk about where the season has gone so far and where we think the series will go to end. We also give our spoiler filled review of Detective Pikachu which we saw opening night. As we sat down to record this podcast we learned of the news that Robert Pattinson had been cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the new Matt Reeves film The Batman. This is JP's wet dream.
We've been waiting to talk about this movie since the day it came out. This episode is entirely about Avengers: Endgame. Check it out! Fair Warning: we tried to give a "spoiler free" review which lasted all of about 10 seconds. There are heavy spoilers in this podcast for Endgame. If you haven't seen it, go see it with fresh eyes and the come back and listen to the episode.
We talk a little bit about movie news, how are Captain Marvel experience was, our 3rd attempt at recording Episode 7 (which was eventually just scrapped entirely), and dive into all the recent Star Wars news from the Star Wars celebration weekend.
The Re-view Review will be special episodes where we go back and watch older films that have been chosen by our Patreon subscribers. In this case "The Interview" is Jeremiah's favorite movie, but Justin had never seen it. The reason we started our podcast in the beginning was because we wanted to go back and "re-view" and then review older movies that one of us hated, one of us loved, or one of us hadn't seen. That idea gave birth to the first episode where we went back and watched Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi. This episode with the Interview was chosen by our Patreon subscriber Steven Bajorek. Thanks for recommending a good movie, Steven!
It's been a long time coming, but here it is. The Best and Worst of 2018. We initially started recording this podcast on January 3rd, but realized we just hadn't seen enough movies from 2018 yet, plus we had tickets to go see Into the Spiderverse half way through recording the podcast. We decided to just scrap that episode entirely and start from scratch a month and a half later. Check it out and let us know your thoughts. As usual you can find us on the following platforms: Patreon - www.patreon.com/fanfootagepod Twitter - fanfootagepod Reddit - r/fanfootagepodcast Instagram - @fanfootagepodcase, @ipunchewoks, and @jptronwalker. Enjoy the show!
Thanks for listening to Episode 5 of the Fan Footage podcast. In this episode we talked about recent movie news, give our reviews and feedback on the 2018 film "The MEG". We then started to trail off and got nostalgic about Spawn action figures and POGs. Our patreon is now live, subscribe at www.patreon.com/fanfootagepodcast. As always reach out to us on instagram @fanfootagepodcast (Justin - @ipunchewoks; JP - @jptronwalker). Thanks for listening!
In this episode your hosts talk about recent movie news and dissect the DCU ahead of Aquaman. They talk about each DCU movie leading up to the release of Aquaman, where the DCU should go from here, and how bad they thought Suicide Squad was.
Join Justin and JP this week as they dive into the latest movie news, talk about/go into too much detail about the games they played in this last week's 24 hour board game-a-thon at Athens' own Rook and Pawn board game cafe to raise money for Books for Keeps, a local charity run by great people. We also talk about what we plan on doing in the next couple weeks and discuss the "yellow note pad". In this special "Mini" episode, we talk about the 24 hour Board Gameathon that took place this Black Friday, November 23rd. This special event was hosted by Athens, Ga's own Books for Keeps and Rook & Pawn. Your hosts, Justin and JP, talk about the games they are excited to play, and JP talks about the games Justin isn't familiar with (all of them). This is a bonus prequel episode to Episode 3 in which we will discuss all of the games that we played or didn't play, give a breakdown of the event, and include the special live crossover episode we did with Athens based Chapel Bell Curve podcast. JP had a lot to drink and gave some pretty entertaining recast choices. Enjoy! Books for Keeps: http://www.booksforkeeps.org Rook and Pawn: http://www.therookandpawn.com
