Preaching and teaching from GR.CHURCH | Grand Rapids, MI

In this message from our Christmas series The Light Has Come, Pastor Cody reminds us that Jesus doesn't just bring light, He is the Light. When life feels dark, heavy, or confusing, Christ steps into our reality with hope, clarity, and peace that darkness cannot overcome! No matter what season you're in, the Light of Christ still breaks through and He wants to shine in you and through you.

In our first message of The Light Has Come, we looked at Isaiah 9:2–7 and the hope God promises in the deepest darkness. We were reminded that spiritual darkness is real—but so is the Light who breaks into it. Jesus doesn't ask us to climb our way out; He comes down to meet us, reorder our joy, and lead us through what feels impossible. We celebrated Pastor Cody's 15 years of faithful ministry at GR.Church and were encouraged that the same God who has guided our church family continues to shine light, peace, and strength into every shadow we face. The Light has come and no darkness can overcome it.

Ralph Rebandt concluded our World Impact Month with a powerful message from Psalm 2, reminding us that even in a turbulent world, Christ is King. He unpacked the sovereignty of Jesus, the rebellion of nations, and the confidence believers have in God's unshakable rule.We concluded the service with a Q&A where Ralph answered questions about what changes he would make if elected as Governor of Michigan, providing insight into his perspectives and proposed approaches to leadership.

Biblical manhood is not a personality type—it's a calling. And it's time for our homes to raise up and look for men, not boys.

Continuing in our Series "God Revealed", this message from Pastor Cody, we are reminded that when God saves us, it's not just to give us fire insurance, nor is it to just give us a home in heaven, BUT also to give us a mission here on earth. YOU are here for a greater purpose than you could even begin to imagine! We are set FREE by truth. Truth is the Word of God and continuing in the word of God and not sin is how we live free. Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Jesus was willing to risk His own life to get people the truth. Why? Because He loves them!*Note this was our "fifth Sunday family service" and to help the kids in service "BINGO" was played along to Pastor Cody's sermon*
