Big Idea: Those who Christ has found intentionally invite others to believe. This Sunday, we explored John 1:43-49, where Jesus calls His disciples and invites them to follow Him. Philip found Nathanael and said, “Come and see.” Through this passage, we are reminded that following Christ is an invitation not just for ourselves but for others as well. Who will you invite to believe?
Scripture Reference: John 13:33-38; John 18:12-27
Big Idea: Christ is specific in how He wants His disciples to follow Him.This week, we finished the book of John, focusing on John 21:15-25. We explored Jesus' personal call to Peter to ‘feed My sheep' and the unique way He leads each of His disciples. Through this passage, we were reminded that following Christ is not a one-size-fits-all journey, but a personal and intentional call to obedience, love, and faithfulness.

Have you ever felt the sadness of being rejected? You get passed over, embarrassed in front of other people. Oh, we've all felt that. Those feelings of rejection take root in your life, especially if it's something personal and really close to home. Know this: A better day is coming. Listen to these words of Jesus… Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. That feeling of rejection doesn't have to last forever. As a matter of fact, God is inviting you today into His own family. Say “Yes” to Him! He loves you, He will accept you with great joy. Always remember there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. Scripture Reference: John 14:1 radio.hopewithgod.com Find out more at https://hopewithgod.pinecast.co This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

Friends come and go throughout our lives. Relationships change and sometimes they end. But there is one who does not change who will never leave you. God speaks these words in the Bible, in the book of John. He says, No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. This promise is for you today. No matter what's happening in your life, no matter what has happened in your past; God has not forgotten you and He will not abandon you. I have had some hard times in my life, gut-wrenching grief and pain. But God has been with me through it all and He has never let me down. Do you want to know the one who promises to always be with you? Why don't you cry out to Him today? Give your life to Him…The One who came to earth to be with you. Always remember, there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau. There was a time when I moved from place to place looking for a fresh start, thinking maybe here, maybe now… It took me a long time to discover that my purpose wasn't in a place or a career. It was in a person—a relationship with Jesus, the One who loved me already. Jesus said this in the book of John in the Bible… Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot produce fruit unless you remain in me. Jesus loved me despite my failures, my wandering, my wild living, all my attempts at different careers. Wherever you are in life, He loves you. He wants you to come to Him and know Him. Do you want that? Pray with me now. God, You're the one I have been searching for. I do believe in You and I love you. And I put my life in Your hands. Show me how to live in You. I'm Yours forever. In Jesus name, amen. Remember, there is always hope with God. Big Idea: Christ desires that I know the privileges I have as His disciple. This week, we focused on John 21:1-14, reflecting on what it means to be a disciple of Christ. We looked at how Jesus revealed Himself to His disciples, provided for them, and invited them into deeper fellowship. Through this passage, we were reminded of the privilege it is to follow Him and trust in His provision.

“Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your judgments are like the great deep; you save humans and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. O continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your salvation to the upright of heart!” (Psalm 5-10) Sanctity of Human Life Sunday – Scripture and the constant witness of the Church teach that human life is created in the image and likeness of God. The value of life, therefore, does not depend on law or personal preference. Rather, it depends on the purpose of God at creation, and His continuing love for human creatures. So great is this love, that He sent His Son to become human, to live as an embryo and become born, to live among us and suffer, to die and resurrect for our hope and glory. Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is today, the Sunday closest to the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. President Ronald Reagan first set the day aside in 1984 to give thanks for the gift of life, and to reaffirm our commitment to the dignity of every human being and the sanctity of each human life. 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Scripture Reference: John 1:1-14 & Titus 2:11-14 12/24/24

I've heard it said that everybody needs a hero. I guess that's why there are so many superheroes in popular culture. They can fly, or be supernaturally strong, or even shoot webs out of their hands. They specialize in swooping in to save the day when humanity is in trouble. I suppose superheroes fill a need we have for being saved from danger and disaster. I only wish more people knew about the true hero – our Savior, Jesus Christ. He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” When it comes to being a true superhero and savior, Jesus outshines every fictional character imaginable. Who else died in our place and then rose from the dead? Who else could offer us eternal salvation and life in Heaven? Not Batman, or Superman, or Spiderman – no one! If you are looking for a hero, look no further than Jesus. He will never fail you. This is Andrew Palau. There was a popular song many years ago that said, “It can't be wrong when it feels so right.” That's a strong excuse for many people who misbehave and step over moral boundaries. So how do we distinguish what's right and what's wrong? I believe the best way is to know what God has told us in His word, the Bible. Begin reading in the book of Matthew and read a chapter or two each day. Before you read, pray and ask God to teach you what is right, and what is wrong. Look for the life principles that He has laid down there. You will soon begin to learn what God's good plan is for you and your life. Don't ever think that God is out to ruin your fun or make your life one of dogged asceticism. No! On the contrary, He wants you to be joyful and fulfilled. Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life and have it to the full.” This is Andrew Palau. A large global company used this motto a couple years ago: Home. The most important place in the world. And yes, home is a place, but it's not just a place. It's something we ALL need. One of the great tragedies of life is that many do not have a home because of poverty, war, addiction or abuse. But there is a hope that's promised in the Bible. One day we can have a home that can never be taken away- a permanent home, a place with a perfect Father. Jesus promises in John 14 that He is going to prepare a place for us; not just a house, but a home. And this home, with Him in eternity, truly is the most important place in the world. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: John 14:2-3 radio.hopewithgod.com This podcast is powered by Pinecast.
Scripture Reference: John 14:15-26 Some mystery surrounds the person and work of the Holy Spirit, for sure, but that doesn’t mean that He is due any less adoration and worship from God’s people than any other member of the Trinity. Today, we look at the doctrine of the Holy Spirit as THE active agent, the “mover shaker” of the Godhead. Sermon Points: The Importance of the Spirit The Action of the Spirit The Focus of the Spirit
Join us for an inspiring message from Pastor Adam Ramsey in Week 4 of our "Freed People Series" titled "Gospel Doctrine, Gospel Culture (The Two Hills We Die On)." In this sermon, Pastor Adam delves into John 13:34-35, exploring the essential marks of a healthy church and the vital relationship between Gospel Doctrine and Gospel Culture. As Pastor Adam recaps the journey so far, we reflect on the importance of giving our first and best to God, maturing together in faith, and prioritizing our collective identity in Christ. This week, we focus on the two core principles that shape our community: Gospel Doctrine (our unwavering message of Jesus' good news) and Gospel Culture (the lived experience of this good news in our relationships).Pastor Adam emphasizes that a faithful church cannot settle for one without the other. Pure doctrine without love is lifeless, and love without doctrine is misguided. Drawing from the wisdom of Francis Schaeffer, he reminds us that the early church's explosive growth stemmed from their commitment to both orthodoxy of doctrine and orthodoxy of community.Through the lens of John 13, Pastor Adam illustrates how Jesus' command to "love one another just as I have loved you" encapsulates both gospel doctrine and gospel culture. He challenges us to make the gospel the center of our lives, moving beyond self-centeredness to embrace a Christ-centered community marked by love, patience, and mutual support. In a world fraught with division, our love for one another serves as a powerful testimony to the reality of Jesus' love. Pastor Adam invites us to cultivate and protect this gospel culture, making it a defining feature of our church and our witness to the world.Don't miss this profound message that calls us to live out the gospel in both belief and practice, showing the world the transformative power of Jesus' love.
