The Super Bowl LVI halftime show took place on February 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. On November 5, 2021, a fatal crowd crush occurred during Astroworld Festival, a music event founded by rapper Travis Scott that was held at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. Eight people died on the night of the concert, and two more died in the hospital over the following days. The cause of death for all ten was ruled to be accidental compressive asphyxiation. Twenty-five people were hospitalized, and more than 300 people were treated for injuries. The Marshall Tucker Band is an American rock band from South Carolina known for incorporating blues, country, and jazz elements into their sound. The band also helped establish the "Southern rock" genre in the early 1970s. Today my dad and I (you read that right!) will be discussing their show from the 'Through Hell and High Water...and Back Tour 2019.'
