https://www.darrynyates.comInstagramhttps://music.darrynyates.comYoutubeBioDarryn Yates is a retro rock and alt-rock artist whose music fuses driving guitars with soaring, melodic choruses. His latest single, No Regrets Only Greatness, marks a powerful return to the stage and reaffirms his lifelong passion for music.Darryn first rose to prominence as the frontman of the pop-rock band On Tracy Lane (OTL), opening for major acts such as Avril Lavigne, American Hi-Fi, Local H, and Phantom Planet. The band's momentum further grew when actress Lacey Chabert, known for Mean Girls and Party of Five, appeared in one of their music videos. While OTL never fully broke into the mainstream, the experience cemented Darryn's commitment to a life in music. His journey began unexpectedly after a high school sports injury redirected his path from athletics to music. Inspired by rock icons like Kiss and Poison, Darryn discovered his true calling during his first live performance and never looked back.Beyond music, Darryn has pursued careers in radio, television, and the corporate world, while also carving out a role as a motivational speaker, podcaster, and author. These experiences, along with overcoming personal struggles, deepened his understanding of resilience and reignited his dedication to creating and performing music. In 2025, Darryn has released three new singles, with additional tracks in production alongside producer Kevin W. Gates. His vision is to record a full-length album and deliver electrifying live shows reminiscent of the larger-than-life performances he grew up idolizing.Driven by a philosophy of boldness and disruption, Darryn Yates inspires audiences not only through his music but also through his story. His message is clear: chase your dreams without regret, and embrace greatness in every step of the journey.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/creator-to-creators-with-meosha-bean--4460322/support.

Neoborn Caveman unleashes satire, truth, and green-tea-fueled rants, exposing techno-feudalism, organ harvesting, and the fight for sovereignty in this radio show replay.NC starts with a shout to his Purple Rabbits, tearing into social media as a surveillance beast training AI for a matrix-style takeover. From historical communism to modern techno-feudalism, he exposes control systems that thrive on fear and conformity, urging listeners to reclaim sovereignty through community and simple joys: think barefoot walks, purring cats, and kids' laughter. No social contract? No problem—you never signed it.The show weaves in NC's music musings, mentioning his unreleased song “You Deserve to Be Heard” and reflecting on hits like “The Breakup Therapy” (1M+ Spotify plays). He critiques consumerism and calls for real community over compliance. Neoborn then spotlights NYC model John Rudat's bravery in defending assault victims in Germany, slamming ideological abuse, failing law enforcement, and UKSSR dystopias. A teaser for Cynthia Sun's harrowing Falun Dafa interview exposes the Chinese Communist Party's organ harvesting, funded by Westerners—yet hope shines through. The public half closes with NC's Rocky-inspired pep talk: You're amazing, unique, and capable of rising above any low. Ignore the inner naysayer, find your true North, and keep fighting. The subscriber's edition (Patreon exclusive) features rising star Shelby Lentz, sharing her journey through music, marriage, and Huntington's disease. From childhood trauma to founding Champions for HD, Shelby's resilience echoes Rocky Balboa's grit. From riddles and crumbs to silence and excuses—love isn't meant to be this messy.00:01:51 – The Promise20 universal points you can use in any situation with anyone. Each one is simple, practical, and designed to cut through confusion.00:02:41 – Welcome & Housekeeping00:03:32 – Point 1: Boundaries Matter More Than IntentionsIntentions without respect mean nothing. Boundaries protect you—enforce them clearly.00:06:07 – Point 2: Respect Shows in Time, Not WordsAnyone can say they care. Time and consistency reveal the truth.00:08:52 – Point 3: Mixed Signals Are Still SignalsConfusion is not neutral—it's avoidance. Treat mixed signals as a no.00:11:08 – Point 4: Overgiving Creates ImbalanceGiving too much only enables takers. Balance effort to protect your value.00:14:28 – Point 5: Crumbs Aren't CommitmentOne text, one call, one gesture—crumbs don't equal real investment.00:18:15 – Point 6: Avoidance Isn't NeutralityDodging hard talks and intimacy is a choice—not “just space.”00:21:01 – Point 7: Intimacy Without Reciprocity Is EmptyPhysical closeness without respect and consistency is hollow.00:23:09 – Point 8: Excuses Are Red Flags“It's bad timing” or “I'm not ready” often hide disinterest.00:24:55 – Point 9: Your Worth Isn't Up for NegotiationYou're not a bargain deal. If they can't see your value, move on.00:28:29 – Point 10: Absence Reveals More Than PresenceHow they act when you're not around says more than their performance when you are.00:31:24 – Point 11: Professionalism Protects YouBlurring lines in shared spaces creates imbalance—respect yourself first.00:32:37 – Point 12: Don't Decode CrumbsPoints 13–1500:35:27 – Point 13: Healthy Relationships Are MutualPartnership means both people initiate, plan, and invest. If only one person is doing the work, it's not a relationship—it's a project.00:38:14 – Point 14: Silence Is CommunicationNo reply is still a reply. Silence says: “You're not a priority.” Listen to it, don't excuse it.00:41:03 – Point 15: Over-Explaining Your Value Is a TrapIf they don't see your worth, convincing won't change their mind. Value needs recognition, not persuasion.00:44:26 – Point 16: Consistency Is the Real TestOne sweet gesture doesn't matter—patterns matter. Consistency is the proof of real care.00:47:36 – Point 17: Respecting Your Own Time Is PowerStop chasing. Keep your schedule.

On the other hand, he's getting hammered for slagging off Belgium, and having some harsh words directed at him by one of TV's greatest quiz hosts. What the sigma can he do!?But no worries, it's Rodmas Day! He's off to see Olivia Rodrigo, one of the most famous singers on the planet, whom John's never heard of - he's more of an Avril Lavigne guy.John's been busy chalking up his wins and losses, and working out whether the massive box of carb chews he bought was a good or bad purchase. There's a lovely chat with biker Adrian Chiles, more taxi-related stag antics, and John finds common ground with an emailer's assertion that every journey counts. If you want to praise or berate Elis, or share your words of wisdom with John, it's elisandjohn@bbc.co.uk, or 07974 293 022 on the WhatsApp.And make sure you catch the finale of DI Robbyns in tomorrow's Bureau de Change of the Mind, only on BBC Sounds of course.

We've got such a fun one for you today—we're chatting with Nora Princiotti about her new book Hit Girls: Britney, Taylor, Beyonce, and the Women Who Built Pop's Shiniest Decade, which comes out on June 17. This book is being billed—rightfully so—as “the ultimate love letter to pop music,” and in this book Nora takes us on a deep dive into how female pop stars broke through the music industry in the 2000s and changed the game forever. Nora covers so many women in this book—Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry—and that's just for starters. She talks about how these women redefined the role of the pop star, not only within the music industry, but within culture, more broadly. Nora writes that “the aughts were a harrowing but magical time in music for women,” and she tells us all about why in today's episode. Nora is a staff writer at The Ringer, where she covers culture—everything from Taylor Swift to the NFL. Speaking of the NFL, Nora was previously a reporter for The Boston Globe, where she covered the New England Patriots dynasty. Nora currently co-hosts the Every Single Album podcast, which just hosted Miley Cyrus—so covering female artists is a specialty of hers. She writes in Hit Girls that, “though the aughts were over, they certainly left a mark.” We're going to dig into what that mark is right now.Hit Girls: Britney, Taylor, Beyonce, and the Women Who Built Pop's Shiniest Decade by Nora Princiotti

What more can we say...? I mean, enough for a podcast episode. This week we're discussing the MF'ing Princess herself, Avril Lavigne. Punk or poseur, she dominated our youth and earned her props. And also ABSOLUTELY wasn't replaced by a clone.  Music: "Baby You Change Your Mind" by Nouvellas

Lipps Service with Scott Lipps

On this episode of Lipps Service, Scott sits down with one of today's hottest rappers, producers, and singer-songwriters, Rico Nasty, who most recently released her third album, LETHAL, on May 16 via Fueled By Ramen. Rico starts by discussing her upbringing, including her early music influences such as Britney Spears and Joan Jett, and how she was expelled from school. She also tells the story behind her namesake, reflects on her first performances at Sweet 16s, and explains how her parents have supported her career. She talks about her collaborations with other big artists, including Paramore, Doechii, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion. She explores her new album, from its creation and message to the meaning behind the album cover, and shares the stories behind some of its hit tracks. To close, Rico lists her top 5 food spots in NYC and artists who inspire her. Tune into a funny and great chat with the baddest to ever do it – Rico Nasty! CREDITS (Instagram handles)Host @scottlippsEdited by @toastycakesMusic by @robby_hoffProduced by @whitakermarisaRecorded at Melrose Podcasts NYC Sonos makes it so easy to fill your home with incredible sound!
