Max takes win number 18, but not without a fight. What a weekend! Ferrari looked to have it in the bag until the weather and strategy changes threw a wrench in the works for them. Red Bull capitalized and Perez secured his first victory of the year. The new race director changes made this year showed in force how we are still not past the many issues that plagued last year.
Red Bull pulls out a 1-2 finish, capitalizing on Charles Leclerc's misfortune with a retirement on lap 27. Mercedes seems to have figured some things out and are showing much more pace. And Aston Martin is again in the spotlight for having a car very similar looking to another front running team.
Another win for Max Verstappen, and a double podium for Ferrari at the inaugural Miami Grand Prix.
First sprint race weekend of the year. Some difficulties for teams navigating the weather changes, with a 1-2 finish for Red Bull to re-establish themselves in the fight this year in a very strong way.
Charles Leclerc claims his second win of the season. Red Bull continues to be plagued with mechanical difficulties, and McLaren steps their game up and makes huge strides with their pace.
Missile strikes in close proximity, a big crash for Mick Schumacher, Sergio Perez gets his first pole, more excitement between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, there is lots to talk about! We'll run down each of the teams performance, and then look ahead to F1's return to the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, Australia!
What a race! We'll cover the grid, front to back. Some things came through as expected, and some things we had expected got flipped in a way that no one saw coming. Car performance, new tires at race pace, and a couple brotherly disagreements to enjoy.
It's finally here! The 2022 season kicks off this weekend with race number 1 at Bahrain.
