A very belated season's greetings to all! The BFP crew is back again to pontificate on all the goings-on in the Formula 1 world for the past few weeks! And with all the craziness of a second silly season, can you blame them?!On this episode, the crew reaches back into their memory banks to the anticlimactic ending of the season, and do recap of the Abu Dhabi grand prix.  Sara takes us through the ins and outs of the team principal silly season as Breno points out that the death knell had already sounded on Mattia's career.  Sara continues with her weird praising(?) of Charles Leclerc's recent performances, and unearths some epic audio!  Breno laments the lack of celebration for what could've been Ricciardo's last race, and forgets to put Zhou in his second half of the season top five! The  crew also gives a very special BFP goodbye to one of F1's greats! All this and more!So lets get out our party hats and raise that champagne glass one more time because the recap of the end of the season is here!!!The Blue Flagopedia:Sergio Perez welcomes Daniel Ricciardo Red Bull returnDaniel Ricciardo shares reason for snubbing Lewis Hamilton back-up role at MercedesToto Wolff is hopeful of Mick Schumacher being given an opportunity at an F1 teamMick Schumacher on F1's lack of patienceTeam principal silly seasonWolff's criticism of Binotto Chadwick signed to Andretti for Indy Lights SeriesF1 drivers go out to dinnerImages from the dinnerFake bill goes viralNyck De Vries taken to the Aplha Tauri garageSummary of the FIA Prize Giving CeremonyWeird interaction between Horner and Ben SulayemFIA montage for the 2022 season (starts at 1:41:29)Follow us on on our socials:https://twitter.com/BlueFlagPodF1https://theblueflagpodcast.buzzsprout.com/

In our final wrap-up of the season, we look back at performance and the shake-up that occurred this season. Disclaimer: In the episode, Megan says that Lewis had 10 total podiums. This was a mistake on our part. Lewis had 9 total podiums this year and is equal to the Ferrari drivers. Our analysis that this is impressive considering Mercedes's performance still holds true.

Alright, kids! The BFP crew was totally gobsmaked  by the events of the Sao Paulo GP (don't say Brazilian GP) that this pod took extra long to come out... Unless, you're Leclerc waiting to get your tires on in the pit lane. On this banger of an episode,  TBFP crew  discusses the rumors of a shake up at Ferrari, Ricciardo's possible new home, the return of an old (and I mean old) friend,  Mick's possible future, and the Checo Max controversy.  Sara gives Binotto a new moniker, berates Verstappen, type casts George Russell, attempts to speak Portuguese, and unveils her driver hiring strategy of "the heir and the spare."  Breno applies for financial aid for his enchante addiction, misinterprets the Tsunoda unlapping incident, and forgets how the FIA issues garage assignments in the pit lane.Lets buckle up because this is a doozy of an episode!

With its champions already determined, Formula One is winding down, but not without some fun from outgoing drivers like Daniel Ricciardo. Hate It or Love It includes Nick's mic dropping out on live TV, Katie's disappointment with the late timing of Ricciardo's final stand, and Sean's accidental intrusion into a new neighbor's apartment.
