Join Peter and viewers as they look back at a sensational Brazilian (São Paulo) GP at Interlagos. Peter in his opening monologue talks about the controversy surrounding the power unit change on Max Verstappen's Red Bull-Honda and the post-race comment by Ferrari's Chairman, John Elkann, in which he advised his two drivers - Charles Leclerc and Sir Lewis Hamilton - to "talk less and focus on driving". This stream also diverts into a variety of racing subjects - some current, some past - but all a part of the F1 whole. Although Lando Norris in Brazil took another giant leap towards the 2025 World Championship, this race will forever be remembered by Max Verstappen's stunning drive from the pit-lane to P3. With Max failing to make it out of Q1 on Saturday, Red Bull-Honda took the decision to change the power unit - and the set-up, yet again - and incur the usual penalty. In this video Peter tracks the progress of the events in Brazil from Friday morning right through to a bonus debrief chat with Mark Slade, the former McLaren, Mercedes and Renault race engineer. Ferrari is burning hot, and John Elkann just threw gasoline on the fire. After a disastrous Brazilian GP, he publicly called out Leclerc and Hamilton: "Talk less, focus on driving." But what was he really hoping to achieve? Is this tough-love leadership… or buyers remorse for bringing Hamilton into the chaos? On Formula: America, we break down:

Lando Norris destroys Interlagos with a flawless weekend — but the biggest argument of the show? Whether Oscar Piastri's penalty was fair!
As always Brazil delivers another classic where Norris has had a fantastic weekend, solidifying he's foothold on the championship battle. He won the Sprint race and the actual race ! Pastri by contrast had another messy weekend to all manage a top 5 finish ! The big story was Max who came from last with a fresh engine to make tremendous passes to finish on the podium in a way only he can! Mercdes and specifically had a very strong weekend, and showed pace throughout the weekend. They were 2 and 3 in the sprint race, and Kimi Antonelli had the best weekend of his F1 career managing to outshine Rusell in the sprint race, and then to finish 2nd on the podium while being chased by Max, and did not put one foot wrong! He was outstanding!

Lando Norris with his champions' drive, Max Verstappen with yet another masterclass in Brazil consecutively, and Kimi Antonelli coming on his own on the podium at Interlagos. A race start full of incidents, and a race that entertained all the way till the final lap. Ferrari's double DNF made headlines, but not so much as John Elkann's unnecessary statement about Charles Leclerc & Lewis Hamilton "talking more" rather than focusing on driving. Did Andrea Kimi Antonelli deserve a penalty for his part in the Oscar Piastri tangle? Liam Lawson's "defensive masterclass" to make his 1-stopper work and lots more stories from Interlagos. The 2025 Formula 1 season has been WILD to say the least... from Oscar Piastri's incredible home win in Melbourne to the shock end (and restart) of Max Verstappen's dominance, we break down everything that's happened so far this year.In this episode, we dive into the standout moments that have defined the season - Nico Hülkenberg's shock podium, Isack Hadjar's breakout moment, and Carlos Sainz's impressive run with Williams Racing. We look back at Lewis Hamilton's lone win and unpack what's gone right (and wrong) for each of the top teams. Then we shift gears to what's next... crunching the championship math to see whether Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, or even George Russell can take home the 2025 Drivers' Championship and previewing this weekend's upcoming Brazilian GP at Interlagos. If you want a refresh on what's been, what's still to come, and who could actually win this title fight, strap yourself in, it's a good one.
Haydn Cobb and Kevin Turner join Bryn Lucas on the latest episode of the Autosport Q+A. This week, the trio discuss who will most likely succeed in the final three races of the 2024 season and if the sport can expect similar convergence to 2021's Championship fight between teams in the future. They also ponder whether Red Bull has a chance to reclaim second or even first in the Constructor's Championship. There are also discussions on whether the “free tyre change” rule under Red Flags needs to be changed after the Brazilian GP, concerns over the FIA's leadership after the departure of many of its staff, whether Greg Maffei stepping down as Liberty Media's CEO increases Andretti's chances of making the grid in the future, and Kevin is asked if Valtteri Bottas leaves F1 as the sport's “greatest teammate”. THIS IS BRAZIL!The last month has been a roller coaster when it comes to the Drivers and Constructors Championship. As rain, the great equalizer, became a certainty for the Brazilian GP, we found ourselves licking our chops at the battle we were sure to witness amongst the frontrunning teams. Instead, Max Verstappen displayed one of the greatest driving performances of all time. We discuss the odds that were stacked against him as well as what this does for his legacy. While Max found himself dancing in the rain, McLaren and driver Lando Norris put forward a performance that left much to be desired. In one race, their path to a Drivers championship was as good as done while the path to a Constructors title suddenly became perilous. All this while Alpine, a team often relegated to the bottom half of the field, found themselves rounding out the podium and bringing home a season's worth of points.Take a listen as we break down the race, the crashes, and the surrounding storylines of the 2024 Brazilian GP
This week we recap the rain heavy chaos that was the Brazilian Grand Prix. We also went very heavy on the beer/booze chat and we finish up with a little Christmas chat. Enjoy!
