Anneke Hogeland, co-author of The Trituration Handbook: Into the Heart of Homeopathy, walks us through the practice of triturations, a careful process of preparing remedies that often gets overlooked in homeopathy. She shares how her training in the Netherlands and collaboration with Judy Schriebman led to the creation of their definitive guide, filling a gap in how triturations are taught and practiced. The conversation explores practical examples, from bird remedies to calendula and persimmon, showing how these preparations can reveal both physical and emotional insights. Anneke also talks about the unexpected challenges of triturations and how to approach them with awareness and intention. Stories from her work, including a patient with cancer, highlight the real-world impact these remedies can have when carefully prepared. Episode Highlights: 02:44 - How it all began 06:46 - The sign of a successful trituration 10:54 - An unforgettable experience 13:10 - How calendula helps old wounds 16:12 - Upcoming Trituration of Male and Female Feathers 19:27 - The Persimmon Remedy 25:51 - Proving stories: unexpected effects 30:46 - Experimenting with Trituration Techniques 37:42 - Finding what works best 39:54 - The Role of Communication in Triturations 44:00 - One-day vs multi-day triturations 48:11 - Interpretation of animal appearances  51:17 - Following the dream thread 55:58 - Should family expect unusual behavior when doing trituration? 01:01:28 - Best place to purchase Anneke's books 01:08:30 - Anneke's first homeopathic experience About my Guests: ANNEKE C.H. HOGELAND, MS, MFT (1948 – present) practiced as a homeopath, psycho therapist, and hypnosis expert in and around Berkeley, California. Anneke leads Family Constellation Therapy workshops worldwide. She graduated from the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy in San Francisco in 2000. A Dutch citizen, she first came to the U.S. in the late sixties for college, but soon after her arrival became completely enchanted with hot air ballooning. She traveled the world for many years as one of the first female commercial balloon pilots and set a world altitude record at 28,036 feet in 1977. Early in her homeopathic career, Anneke studied extensively with European homeopaths and found the quality of teaching, research and practice was frequently moving into realms that were not discussed in American schools. In Germany they were triturating remedies to higher levels (C4 homeopathy) leading to a greater understanding of remedies. Jan Scholten was classifying the minerals and elements. Roger van Zandvoort was working on the Millenium repertory, and researcher Frans Vermeulen was organizing and correcting the entire Materia Medica in significant ways. Alize Timmerman, as the foremost proponent of C4 homeopathy in the Netherlands, was spreading this work far and wide across the world. As the founder of HomeopathyWest, Anneke has organized many homeopathic seminars in the San Francisco Bay Area; Judy continues this work. Anneke is semi-retired now and moved to Portugal in 2018.

LANDO: “I found a good rhythm with the car halfway through the season and I feel like I've been able to find confidence in myself, in my ability not just to win races but to go and fight for a world championship. “I've certainly had some fortune this year but I've certainly had a fair share of tough moments – especially at the beginning, [there was] a lot I struggled with and lost a little bit of belief early in the season. “More for myself at that point, it was nice to prove myself wrong in a way at times, starting off in Monaco Qualifying and a few moments after that. The second half of the season I've really been able to show to myself what I could do, what I was capable of doing.” MAX: “I'm very proud of the whole Team and I'm so proud of the incredible turnaround that we had. We never gave up and always believed we could turn things around and never stopped trying. We could have very easily just have given up, but we kept pushing, looking for improvements and always believed. This season has been a massive rollercoaster, with lots of tough moments and feelings, but I'm so proud of everyone and we have really come together as a Team. The turnaround in the second half of the season was incredible and pretty crazy that we could do that and we kept overcoming a lot of things as a Team. Today has been a lot of fun, especially winning the race in such a dominant way. We had an incredible weekend and did everything as best as we could, so ultimately I feel good today. Although not winning a championship by two points looks painful, going back to Zandvoort we were behind by over 100 points, so am very proud of what we have achieved. Of course, for Lando this is something very special and I hope he enjoys it a lot. The first Championship win is the most emotional one and it is something you dream of since you were a little kid. His family are here and I hope he enjoys tonight with his Team. Finally, I wanted to thank the whole Team in the factory and on track: we never gave up and always believed. I am very proud of the people that I work with, they are my second family. OSCAR: “Honestly, pretty good. I knew that going into today I needed the stars to align to win the championship. “Ultimately, I tried my best and put myself in the best position I could to try and win the race and give myself the best opportunity, but it wasn't to be. I think we can be very proud of the season we've had. “On a personal level, it's obviously not quite the ending that I wished for but I think when you look at the season as a whole, I'm very proud of the work that I've been able to put in and my team have been able to put in to make so much progress from last year. I'm looking forward to plenty more fights in the future.” FERNANDO: "It is great to finish the season with a strong P6 here in Abu Dhabi. Our race pace hasn't always matched our qualifying recently, so a solid Sunday here feels very good. It's been a challenging year, and I want to thank the whole team for their hard work all season. We'll enjoy a break, then switch our focus to preparing for the big changes next year. And congratulations to Lando on his first World Championship; it is a special moment for any young driver, and he deserves it."

Marcin Budkowski, who worked with Oscar Piastri at Alpine and held engineering roles at Ferrari and McLaren, joins Tom Clarkson in the Zandvoort paddock to reflect on an action-packed Dutch Grand Prix. After Lando Norris's late mechanical failure, Piastri's seventh victory of the season moves him 34 points clear of his McLaren teammate at the top of the Drivers' Standings. What does that retirement mean for Lando's title hopes and his approach for the rest of the season? How did Oscar end up getting the better of Lando after trailing him in all three practice sessions?  Marcin shares fascinating insight into how different Oscar is in the cockpit compared to out of the car with his helmet off, and why the Australian has surprised him this year after having some doubts about his title-winning credentials. Lando's loss was Isack Hadjar's gain, as the Racing Bulls rookie jumped up a place from P4 to P3 to score his first podium in Formula 1. How did Isack execute his best weekend in F1 so far? Should Red Bull promote him to be Max Verstappen's teammate in 2026? And Ferrari had a weekend to forget with a double DNF, after Charles Leclerc was taken out by Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton crashed into the barriers. Marcin tells Tom why he thinks Antonelli is going through a difficult patch at Mercedes and why Lewis's struggles with the car remind him of Daniel Ricciardo at McLaren. Before they dive into the big talking points, you'll hear from Max Verstappen after the four-time World Champion confirmed he'll be staying at Red Bull for 2026 to end weeks of speculation around his future. Oscar Piastri goes into the weekend 16 points ahead of Lando Norris at the top of the Drivers' Standings. Whose driving style does the Hungaroring circuit suit best out of the two McLaren drivers? And with the summer break meaning a four-week wait until the next Grand Prix in Zandvoort, how important is this weekend in the title race from a psychological point of view? Ferrari have announced that Team Principal Fred Vasseur has signed a multi-year contract with the team. What statement does that send about their intentions? And with Charles Leclerc scoring four podiums in the last six races, and Lewis Hamilton winning a record eight times in Hungary, will the team continue the progress they made with their rear suspension upgrade in Belgium? Plus, Valtteri gives us the lowdown on Mercedes – why have they struggled for performance in the European leg of the season? What are their chances of returning to the podium in Hungary? And what advice has he given Kimi Antonelli after his recent confidence issues?
