They are finally back together to discuss everything from the Red Bull Ring! They start taking about their trips and holiday adventures and then start the show off with a bit of listener feedback. Next up was all the news from the summer break. The guys share their thoughts on the attendance at the Red Bull Ring and then on the silly season rider and team swaps. Last news item covered is the 2026 WSBK and MotoGP schedules. The racing was good in the Moto3 class as four riders fought for the lean in the opening laps. This quartet was joined by two more riders to create an exciting ending to the race. Moto was drama filled for Gonzalez. A non-finish decreased his points lead to 19 over title rival Canet. Moreira after another win is in with a shout at the world title as well. The MotoGP class saw a surprise pole sitter in Bezzecchi, while Marc Marquez fell. Have no fear Marc rebounded to win the Sprint on Saturday and the GP on Sunday, but Bezzecchi did make him sort of work for it. After a long and sad summer break MotoGP 2025 is back!!! Back in Austria for the infamous Red Bull Ring that has seen many intense battles over the years!! This year is a little different where as the main contender this year is also on the red bike that seems to do so well here year after year. Can the baby alien pull Pecco Bagnaia from his Red Bull Ring throne and claim a victory he's never seen before? Beyond the obvious fight between the two men in red, we can't forget our orange bikes that are at their manufacturers home track this weekend!! Pedro Acosta felt like he finally started working well with the KTM again, and this was no le3ss apparent here this weekend for round 13!! Binder also seemed to find some footing finally, however not enough to be fighting for a podium. Finally we'll discuss the other biggest player this weekend and quickly becoming every weekend. Marco Bezzeecchi, maybe the only man in 2025 that can show Marc any sort of opposition. Can he actually show him that though? Or is Marc just playing with everyone and making sure he runs an absolutely perfect season from here on out? https://fantasy.motogp.com/ Code: NF9ZDUE9

Plus - I predict when the title will be decided! The Rundown:- Qualifying: Bezz turns things around in a big way, with an assist from The Doctor- The Sprint Race: Disaster for Pecco, KTM looks good, the Marquez brothers look great- The MotoGP Race: Have you heard? Marc won his first MotoGP race at the Red Bull Ring!- Fermin Aldeguer steals the spotlight with a late charge- Should Marc be worried? (spoiler alert: no)- Bezz contines to prove Aprilia is making major progress- Acosta keeps the youth movement building toward the future- Pecco needs a major reset in focus and approach- The MotoGP Championship - I predict when it will be official- My take on the Red Bull RingWhat did you think of the AustrianGP?

The train rolls on for one rider, one team, one brand in 2025 MotoGP but Austria delivered a few talking points as well as the welcome sight of MotoGP cranked up to full pelt after the summer break (also hard on the anchors at one of the most demanding tracks for braking). Adam, David and Neil get on the mics from the Red Bull Ring Media Centre to go through the categories and we also speak to Gresini and Red Bull KTM in post-GP pitlane

It's Red Bull's home race, but is the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix already turning out to be the worst place to be for Max Verstappen, and for Red Bull? And of course, it's called the Red Bull Ring for a reason. For starters, the "Max to Mercedes" rumours have started - and then, the Red Bull Ring does have corners that can make attacking-defending tricky. In effect, make it difficult for Max (or any other driver) to keep it clean and not pick up in-race penalties and/or worse, a penalty point. Soumil, Sundaram and Kunal are back to preview the 2025 Austrian Grand Prix. Also, the trio offer a FULL REVIEW of Formula 1's official movie "F1". No spoilers were discussed, but in general, lots of appreciation and one criticism. Upgrades for F1's 2025 Austrian Grand Prix, will Ferrari's floor upgrade help them fight at the front? McLaren's eager to help Lando Norris resurrect his form, and as for Mercedes, they're focusing on one key aspect - cooling. Yes, the Red Bull Ring seems unassuming (10 corners only, out of which 3 are taken flat out!), but this circuit tests the cars brakes, cooling systems and crucially, vehicle suspension given the "kerb riding" that's required to extract more lap time. The highly anticipated "F1: The Movie" is set for release next week, boasting an impressive 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Actor Brad Pitt was seen driving a 2023 MCL60 at COTA, adding to the film's buzz , and the F1 director has teased a "Days of Thunder" crossover as a potential sequel concept. Veteran driver Fernando Alonso has achieved a remarkable milestone, having started an astounding 35.7% of all F1 Grand Prix races in history. Young talents Dino Beganovic and Alex Dunne are set to gain valuable experience in Free Practice 1 (FP1) at Austria, stepping in for Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris, respectively. In organizational news, the FIA has restructured, resulting in the dismissal of Sara Mariani, its Head of Sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion. Istanbul race organizers have publicly stated their readiness to host a Grand Prix if the new Madrid circuit isn't completed for the 2026 season. Liberty Media has received unconditional approval to acquire MotoGP, with the deal expected to finalize by July 3, 2025. James Vowles has signed a new long-term deal with the Williams Formula 1 team, seen by drivers like Alex Albon as a powerful "vote of confidence". The podcast also features an in-depth look at the Austrian Grand Prix's rich and varied history across multiple venues, from the Zeltweg Airfield to the current Red Bull Ring. Max Verstappen has notably dominated at the Red Bull Ring in recent years, securing multiple victories. The 2024 Austrian Grand Prix saw a dramatic race where George Russell secured victory for Mercedes after a collision between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, who were fiercely battling for the lead. Ferrari's 2025 underperformance is primarily attributed to a fundamental issue with their car's design, specifically its difficulty in running very low to the ground without incurring excessive plank wear in high-speed corners. Both Ferrari and Red Bull are anticipated to introduce substantial upgrades to their cars, with a particular focus on the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. Key talking points for the upcoming weekend include whether Max Verstappen can reassert dominance on his home turf, Mercedes' momentum after Russell's 2024 win, McLaren's superior tire management, the impact of Ferrari's upgrades, potential track limits issues, and the performance of junior drivers in FP1. n this episode of Formula America: F1 Podcast, we preview all the key storylines heading into the Austrian Grand Prix at the iconic Red Bull Ring! Here's what we're diving into:
We're back in the Austrian Alps at the Red Bull Ring as McLaren looks to bounce back after a tough outing in Canada. Will Mercedes continue to play spoiler at the top, or can Ferrari's new updates bring some pace?
