hey !!! I need to be honest with you... I've been in a rut for a super long time without even realising it
hello!!!!! today we talk about all things that my eating disorder took away from me and what we can do to regain our life and personality back whilst learning sooo much about ourselves
HELLO!!!!!! how are we besties??? hopefully well
as humans we find it very VERY easy to worry about as many things as our brain will allow
happy new year my lovelies!!! time to celebrate 2024 no matter how big or small your wins were last year☺️ this time of year is FILLED with 'new year, new me' and people telling you how they're becoming the best version of themselves or them asking what your new year resolutions are and its all just quite intense
Food and body image struggles are super prominent around christmas and the new year... so i hope this episode can be used as a tool to give you the reassurance and reminders you might need to hear of this period
Gaining weight can be one of the toughest things to accept in e.d recovery so I wanted to create this episode to hopefully give you the reassurance you need if weight gain feels scary to you
I refuse to live my life in constant fight or flight mode. I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis and now is the time I'm taking action and making a change because I don't want to look back and remember being stressed all the time you know?
Life has been a bit different recently, and with that I've learnt a lot about myself that I feel like you might benefit from hearing :) Sometimes we can get so stuck in our regular routine of life that we forget to change things up and try new things once in a while... and sometimes those little things could make the biggest difference
We dive into a lot in this episode and talk about things you guys wanted to know and needed to hear⭐️
We needed this catch up you guys!!!
and on this weeks episode, lets discuss having difficult conversations that people pleasers (me) don't like to have and why they're important AND the power of saying NO!!! when you just know there is a more suitable option for you, you don't have to compromise
we literally can't help but try and impress others and get their approval but it can very quickly become a very toxic mindset to have!! So before we fall into this rabbit hole, remember that the only approval you'll ever truly need is from yourself :) Surrounding yourself with people who treat you differently to other people for what ever reason... really aren't worth your time
BIKINI BODY WHO??? all year round we are surrounded by people on a weight loss journey or coaches trying to sell their 'summer shred' guide or eat this instead of that and it's soooo draining!!! so lets dive deep into the conversation of weight loss, having a 'bikini body', how to deal with everyone having this mindset at summer time and why we're beautiful just the way we are
I thought it was about time we had a little catch up!!
I can't believe we're almost half way into the year already!! I've realised that I struggle to genuinely feel fulfilled with my lifestyle, even though my life is pretty fulfilling in so many ways and I do everything I can to make myself proud❤️ To be honest, the reality is that I'm not sure what my life should look like in order for me to feel like its 'good enough'! So join me on my journey mindset change and loving the highs and lows of my incredible life I already live
i felt like i needed to share some realness with you this week because your gal has been struggling if i'm honest❤️ i know i'm not the only one but sometimes it sure can feel like it - so if you're feeling alone in your struggles this week, i hope this episode helps
In Letting Go Of Food Rules part 1, I discussed food rules I felt were prominate in my life and used to be a big struggle for me, in part 2 I discuss all the food rules YOU guys told me you struggle with and share all my advice from my personal journey and research
I became a super early riser for a week and I actually learnt so much!! I have been putting off this challenge for such a long time, but honestly its really shown me just how valuable 'ME' time is and how powerful early mornings can be as they make such a difference to my anxiety and the day ahead of me
food rules... they're something that can sneak up on us without us even realising and before we know it we have a big long list of rules around food that end up consuming our minds!!
I feel like we're all struggling with balancing life atm... it feels like there are 1000 trends we need to be following and so many things to do and not enough hours of the day!!
hey hey hey !!! i'm back ... i promise this time
Although this challenge might not be suitable for everyone, I've learnt a lot from taking part in this challenge
I know that a lot of us can be people pleasers these days and put ourselves out wayyyy more than we often need to! In this episode I discuss how I've made my morning routine more appealing to help lessen my anxiety and ways we can start putting ourselves first in multiple aspects of life without feeling GUILTYYYYY
as much as i LOVEEEE sharing everything i've learnt / am learning on my healing journey... hearing lessons and mindset shifts you guys have had are so INSPIRING and i thought it'd be a great idea to share them with everyone as you guys have some super wise pieces of advice
this episode is a little bit more of an episode for me if i'm honest.. an episode where i'm completely open and honest about everything thats going on right now and what i'm struggling with
I've never been a weekly reset girlie - I've always struggled to justify spending time planning and organising when I feel like I should just 'DO' instead
The new year, new me mindset is SO last year!! I'm coming to you with the tips and tricks to ACTUALLY achieving your goals and STICKING to your habits for 2024
yeahhhh, I'm a bit of a rambler at times and I definitely didn't mean to go on for a whole episode about my AMAZEBALLS weekend... but I did heheh
As someone who has had a bad relationship with food and struggled with an ED in the past, I understand how taking part in the 75HARD challenge can seem disordered. I hope this episode explains my 'WHY' and how I feel this challenge will benefit me and my journey
christmas can feel like a time where were 'supposed' to be super happy and enjoying festive activities with loved one and life should feel easy and relaxing.. but christmas can actually be a triggering time for so many for lots of different reasons
instead of discussing just 1 topic today, i thought it'd be great to hopefully give you lovelies some advice on particular topics that you may be struggling with
as much as we can work on healing ourselves and we can work towards being the best version of ourself.. it can hard to implement everything into our lives every single day
a couple of episodes a go, i dived into all things i have struggled with and how i've got to a better place with those struggles.. i'm back sharing even more progress and (hopefully) advice for you lovelies to be able to do the same
In this episode I have my first ever guest, Cami Sophia join me for a wholesome chat! We dive into all things wellness and Cami's personal journey to get her to where she is now
reflection is something I definitely don't do as much as I should.. my brain often blocks out a lot of the hard times I've been through
NO MORE I'll start on jan 1st or on Monday or I'll do this for 4 weeks to look like this.. Lets start living our life in a way that makes us feel good for good
I realised I have never actually answered your questions about ED recovery on my podcast and I'm SO passionate about being there for you guys on your journey and sharing my advice from my personal experiences ❤️ the number 1 thing I want you to know is that YOU DESERVE A LIFE SO MUCH MORE THAN WHAT YOUR ED IS ALLOWING YOU TO HAVE!!! you are strong enough to get through this and I hope this episode answers everything you want to know and helps you take the necessary steps to get to a happier and healthier life
is everything really as it seems on social media?? I had a major realisation last night, and even as someone who has no intention to share a life that appears 'better' than it is, I somehow share more highlights than the realities
Last week I went away with 9 strangers and I have just come home from the most beautiful trip with 9 new life long friends
there's a long list of habits that make me feel my best and refreshed - these are the habits I focus my time, effort and attention on as much as possible and I avoid the energy takers as they just make me feel a bit 'meh'
as someone in the beginning stages of their running journey with a history of an unhealthy relationship with exercise, and an injured hip... running was always something I never thought would be something I could take up! this year I have worked on shifting my mindset and finding my 'why' for running and listened to my bodies needs - because of this I have found an amazing, healthy balance with running and although its hard, I'm so happy I've started :) Hosted on Acast. there were too many things mentioned in this episode that I couldn't narrow this down to just one or two topics
on this episode i discuss the different ways that help me feel comforted and better in situations where I feel super anxious, stressing and overthinking a lot
looking back on my goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year and reflecting on how I can get on top of these to make these be a reality instead of a goal :) I've noticed progress with my anxiety about night outs and feeling 'unproductive' which is freaking EPIC... (I also had a bad situation that I happened on a night out recently that triggered me and I explained it and how I dealt with it) ALSOOOOO, we talk all about shifting our energy so that we can feel a lil more positive about our days
The actions of people around us when were little actually have such a big effect on us as adults! It can take a lot to realise that the way we're feeling may actually be childhood trauma and it can come out in other aspects of our life!
diving into why I don't like the word 'flattering' yet so many people use it.. like what is wrong with the way my body is without accentuating parts of it??? also, being more in tune with ourselves so we can start prioritising what is important to us without getting overwhelmed :) Hosted on Acast. you ARE seriously the main character in your life and we can all be guilty of sacrificing how were feeling in order to come across a certain way.. but we need to start living for ourselves and being there for ourselves in order to help us become the person we are striving to become :) ily xoxo Hosted on Acast. a lot of the time it can be easy to take our own problems out on the people around us and it can be hard to take a step back and be like 'hang on a minute, this actually has nothing to do with them and everything to do with me' - we are responsible of working on our problems and bettering ourselves instead of relying on someone else to take on our problems and do this for us!.. I hope this helps
