It's mid-summer. Your inbox is quieter than usual. Discovery calls have slowed down. Half your audience seems to be on vacation — and honestly, you'd like to be too. If you're feeling the summer slump, you're not alone. This time of year can feel unsettling for coaches, especially if you're used to measuring your worth by how busy you are. But here's what I've learned after 15 years in this business: summer isn't a problem to fix. It's an opportunity to use. The coaches who come into fall with momentum aren't the ones who panicked and hustled all summer. They're the ones who used the slower season strategically — to rest, plan, create, and prepare. This episode is a practical guide to making the most of summer without burning out or manufacturing fake urgency. I'm walking you through exactly what to focus on now so September doesn't catch you off guard. In this episode, I cover: Why summer slows down (and why that's not a sign your business is failing) The danger of panicking and hustling when things get quiet Why rest is the most strategic thing you can do if you're depleted How to batch and pre-create content: podcast episodes, newsletters, social media Planning your fall launch now — so you're executing in September, not scrambling Recording content for new programs you're planning to launch in fall or winter Creating or refreshing your lead magnet to build your list over summer Cleaning up your systems and backend while you have bandwidth Building relationships: checking in with past clients, nurturing warm leads, planting referral seeds Big picture fall planning: deciding your focus and reverse engineering your timeline A summer planning checklist to keep you on track Resources & Links: How to Price Your 1:1 Coaching Offers — $27 Pricing Masterclass The Confident Coaching Skills Intensive — now available self-guided Get It Done: Private Coaching with Wendy

Can I ask you something? How are you feeling about summer right now — like really feeling about it? Because if you're anything like most of the moms I talk to in early July — the answer is somewhere between "I love my kids so much" and "I am so ready for a routine again." And friend — both of those things can be completely true at the same time. Here's what I know about this exact moment in summer: the novelty has worn off a little. The kids have seen everything on Netflix. The snack requests are relentless. The house feels like it's in a constant state of chaos. And somewhere in the back of your mind you're starting to do the math — how many weeks until school starts again? For a lot of families that answer is only about six weeks away — because so many schools are back in session by mid-August. Which means fall is coming whether we feel ready for it or not. So today I want to meet you right where you are — halfway through summer, a little tired, maybe a little behind, but still with so much good stuff ahead — and help you do two things: First — finish summer STRONG. Because you still have six beautiful weeks and they can be really good. And second — start thinking about fall NOW. Because the moms who head into August feeling calm and prepared started getting intentional about it in July. We're talking about: ✨ Why the summer halfway point feels the way it does — and why you're not alone ✨ How to do a simple mid-summer reset so you can finish strong ✨ Why starting to think about fall in July is the secret weapon most moms don't use ✨ What the back to school transition actually requires — and how to make it smoother ✨ And how to set yourself up for an incredible fall starting right now This is such a timely and practical episode — and I think it's going to give you both the encouragement and the game plan you need for the second half of summer. Join our next FASO Show Live!https://artists.boldbrush.com/p/the-faso-showLearn the magic of marketing with us here at BoldBrush!boldbrushshow.comGet over 50% off your first year on your artist website with FASO:FASO.com/podcast---For today's episode, we sat down with Todd Williams, a Nebraska-born impressionistic oil painter who discovered his calling as a child, went on to study at the Kansas City Art Institute, worked a decade as an illustrator for Hallmark, and has since spent about 25 years as a full-time fine artist represented by major galleries. His work is driven by a desire to evoke emotion at both a distance and up close, with paint quality, broken color, and expressive brushwork often carrying as much weight as the subject itself. Technically, he emphasizes the “science” of painting—values, composition, clean value planes, and his value–color–mixture approach—as the left-brain foundation that lets him later enter a childlike, intuitive “spirit of painting” mode. A major milestone was his Legacy Nebraska Collection, a five-year project tied to Nebraska's sesquicentennial that deepened his connection to place, history, and Native American subjects, and led naturally into his current series of bold, expressive Native American portraits and Western work. His advice to artists centers on perseverance, choosing strong and simple subjects to set yourself up for success, learning from both failures and wins, and accepting the ongoing tension between painting what sells and painting what most moves you. Over time, his definition of success has shifted from financial hunger and high output toward health, spiritual grounding, contentment, and relationships—treating the studio as a sacred space and the artistic journey itself as the true destination. Finally, Todd tells us about his upcoming activities, including teaching workshops with the Indiana Heritage Arts group in Nashville, Indiana and at the Merrick County Museum in his hometown of Central City, Nebraska, participating in ongoing and future Western-themed exhibitions (such as at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville and Settlers West Gallery in Tucson), and contributing to the traveling “Painting the Arkansas Parks” exhibition organized through the Heart of America Artists for 2026–2027.Todd's FASO site:toddwilliamsfineart.com/Todd's Social Media:instagram.com/toddwilliamsfineart/
In this episode, I'm picking up from last week's conversation about taking August off and getting into the practical bit: how your business can keep making sales without you being glued to your phone, filming reels from a sun lounger or hunting for flattering angles in full daylight. Honestly, no one needs that kind of pressure.I'm talking about mini offers, simple ads, smart positioning and why summer does not have to mean choosing between constant content or a completely quiet business. When your offer ecosystem is set up properly, you can stay visible, warm up future buyers and make sales while still having an actual life. Which, frankly, is the whole point.Highlights:(01:04) - Why this episode fills in the strategy gaps from last week(02:19) - The third option between constant content and a quiet business(03:27) - Why mini offers can nurture clients without a sales call(05:48) - How to think about ad spend as leverage, not a gamble(08:28) - Testing your mini offer with your warm audience first(13:28) - The mistake that makes mini offers feel totally disconnectedTo find out more:WebsiteInstagram(FREE) THE PROFITABLE PRACTITIONER'S GUIDEThis podcast is proudly produced by Wavemakers Audio

Burnout doesn't usually hit all at once. It creeps in through overpacked schedules, perfectionism, people pleasing, and the belief that you have to “do it all” to prove you're capable. In this episode, I'm talking with Daniela Wolfe, licensed master's social worker, speaker, trainer, and author of Balance Breakthrough: A Practical Guide for Busy Professionals to Take Charge of Their Work, Life, and Well-Being.Daniela shares her own story of burning out as a young mom with a 4-month-old and a toddler while trying to hold everything together at work and at home. From that experience, she created her Exhausted to Empowered Formula, a practical framework that helps stressed, burned-out professionals reclaim their time, energy, and mental health. We talk about:How burnout can come from the things you love (work, kids, business, relationships)Why mindset has to shift before self-care will actually workHer simple nightly gratitude practice that changed everythingThe Exhausted to Empowered Formula: mindset, time planning & self-care“Time planning” vs “time management” and why buffers in your day matterMicro-moments of self-care you can do in 30–60 secondsHow boundaries protect your energy and model healthy behavior for othersWhy grace (and the word “yet”) is one of the most powerful tools you haveDaniela also shares her free resource, “Reclaim Your Time in 10-Minute Blocks Cheat Sheet,” which helps you both find those small pockets of time and know what to do with them so you don't default to email, chores, or scrolling. If you're tired of ending the day exhausted, resentful, or wondering what you even did all day, this episode will give you simple, realistic ways to shift from survival mode to feeling more present, calm, and in control.

Want to feel your best in 2026? We've got the goss on how to meet your goals this time!In this episode, we're chatting all things actually setting yourself up for a good year — without the burnout, pressure, or “new year, new personality” energy. We talk about why looking back at what worked (and what didn't) matters just as much as planning ahead, and how being honest about your capacity for change can save you a lot of frustration. We dive into habits, systems, and why piling on 47 health goals in January usually backfires. We also get into the balance between doing (hello yang goals) and being (your much-ignored yin goals), and why real health change sticks best when it comes from self-respect rather than self-criticism. Think grounded, realistic, supportive — with a gentle reminder that you don't have to do it all alone to do it well.GRAB OUR NEW YEAR RITUAL - THE GUT RESETIf you'd like to set yourself up for your healthiest year yet, you can grab the Gut Reset here.PREFER TO WATCH US ON YOUTUBE?You can catch us on video on The Holistic Health Podcast Show.FIND NAT BELOW:Website - https://nataliekdouglas.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/natalie.k.douglasBook a Free Assessment Call - https://NatalieKDouglas.as.me/?appointmentType=50255874EndoNourish - Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Guide - https://nataliekdouglas.com/endonourish-holistic-endometriosis-adenomyoisis-care-guide/SacredSeeds - Preconception Care Guidehttps://nataliekdouglas.com/preconception-care-guide/PCOS Wellness Guidehttps://nataliekdouglas.com/pcos-holistic-guide/Thyroid Rescue - Self guided programhttps://nataliekdouglas.com/thyroid-rescue/Coming Off The Pill/IUD Holistic Guidehttps://nataliekdouglas.com/coming-off-the-pill-mini-course/PMS/PMDD Natural Solutons Masterclass https://nataliekdouglas.com/pms-pmdd-natural-solutions-masterclass/Restore and Nourish Gut Reset - https://nataliekdouglas.com/restore-nourish-gut-reset/Perimenopause Masterclass -https://nataliekdouglas.com/perimenopause-masterclass-holistic-toolkit/Become a one-to-one clienthttps://nataliekdouglas.com/1-1-naturopathic-nutrition-consultations/FIND AMIE BELOW:Book a Free Assessment Call: https://p.bttr.to/3yBdmu3 Book Yourself In: https://l.bttr.to/ZDxWOWebsite - https://whatthenaturopathsaid.com Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thatnaturopathJoin the mailing list - https://elysium-clinic-of-natural-medicine.ck.page/69663ce14a
What if the fastest way to meet someone this year isn't trying harder—but stepping back? In this week's episode, Matthew breaks down a counterintuitive idea that could completely change how you think about dating in 2026. It's not about forcing chemistry, endlessly swiping on apps, or summoning more confidence than you actually feel.Instead, he shows how small, everyday shifts can quietly create the conditions where connection happens naturally. If you've been doing “all the right things” but still feel stuck, this video may explain why . . . and what you can do differently starting now.---►► Set Yourself Up to Attract Real Love This Year. Base building is not very exciting – but it is highly effective, whether your goal is to run a faster marathon or 5K. While often conflated with an off-season, a base building phase is a distinct and crucial training phase. This phase of lots of easy miles develops both aerobic fitness and tissue tolerance, so that you can later build race-specific fitness with lower risk of injury and greater adaptations overall. In this episode, we discuss the adaptations of base building, how to structure a base building phase, and more!✨Join us on Patreon.com/treadlightlyrunning or subscribe on Apple Podcasts starting in December, when we'll be releasing special subscriber-only content! In this episode, you'll learn:✅ What is base building and why is it beneficial?✅ Is base building solely easy running?✅ How long should a base building last?✅ Sample workouts for a base building phase✅ The role of long runs during a base build✅ How often should you run during a base building phase?References:

Better Business Better Life! Helping you live your Ideal Entrepreneurial Life through EOS & Experts
In this holiday episode of Better Business, Better Life, Debra Chantry-Taylor tackles a familiar but rarely confronted reality for entrepreneurs: most don't truly rest over the Christmas break, they simply pause while staying mentally tethered to work. Debra unpacks the subtle behaviours that sabotage real downtime, from “just checking emails” to quietly solving work problems in your head and explains why these habits prevent genuine recovery. She shares why true rest isn't indulgent or irresponsible, but essential for clear thinking, strong leadership, and sustainable businesses. Through her signature lens of fierce clarity and loving truth, Debra outlines five practical steps for a healthy Christmas break, choosing presence, resting without guilt, reflecting lightly, reconnecting with who you are beyond the business, and letting go of martyr behaviour. She also explores why family businesses often struggle at Christmas, and how blurred boundaries can quietly undermine both rest and relationships. The episode closes with Debra sharing her own plans for switching off properly, offering a grounded reminder that a business strong enough to survive your absence is a sign of leadership done well. So if you're heading into the festive season exhausted, distracted, or secretly planning to “just check in,” this episode is your permission slip, and your plan, to truly rest. Do you ever just say, "I've arrived. I'm done. I've done as much as I can"? Well, there's something that is about that that means that you are basically setting your energy up, setting your mind and your mentality up. And actually, you're setting yourselves up for a complete, massive meltdown. A meltdown in a way that is negative, really. It's really like, um, it's really like your cells actually start dying. That's really— they've done statistics on this. They've done some science on this that shows as soon as people give up, or they say, "I'm good," or "I've done all that I can do," "I'm done learning," um, that's when the cells start dying. So curiosity, creativity is something that you want to continue to explore. If you said, "I don't need to learn anything," especially in these AI days, oh my gosh, I swear to God, the AI stuff I learn every day kind of breaks my brain open. And the thing about us as humans and spiritual beings and people who want to grow and expand and give our treasures to the world for folks who need them, and be seen and express themselves, that "I've done it, I've done enough, I'm done learning" is going to really close your brain. You're going to get closed. You're going to get rigid. You're going to get immobile. You're going to get into a very small energy shell. And you're also going to get in a very small shell of the way the world works. You're going to get cynical. And cynicism — I remember I had somebody who worked for me years back who was a contractor, and one day I said to him, I said, "Oh my God, it sounds like you've just got so much cynicism. Hang on a second, let me look at it." And so I did this deep-dive research on cynicism. And Wikipedia at the time said cynicism is basically like closing your heart, like getting clogged arteries. And the fascinating thing this guy told me is he said, "Oh my gosh, my doctor told me I had, um, I had clogged arteries and plaque in my arteries." And I — that's because cynicism. So cynicism is easy to get if you've been on the planet more than a minute. And we all have. And we all have things to share and give and express and create and communicate. And in order to do that, you have to be curious. You have to know what your energy is doing. You have to come from your heart. You have to come from, uh, willingness not to know, willingness to be a novice, willingness to start all over. I mean, the cool thing about side hustles and somebody who's creative — because I am creative, it's tough to keep up with me — um, is that, uh, I'm never want for new ideas and new things that I can share. I — my gosh, I've written 17 books. So the thing for you here is: Where have you stopped? Where have you stopped playing? Where have you stopped growing? Where have you stopped exploring? Where have you stopped in your creativity? Where have you stopped? Where have you stopped? And where have you dipped into cynicism? Hey, my name is Sheevaun Moran. I'm driving for your success. In this episode, I break down how to define what winning in 2026 actually means, not as vague goals, but as lived experience. How you want your body to feel. How you want to handle pressure. How you want to move through your days. I explain why identity drives behavior, why discipline collapses without regulation, and how a dysregulated nervous system quietly sabotages good intentions. I also get practical. I walk through how to build non-negotiables that remove decision fatigue, how to pre-decide your response when momentum drops, and how to create simple daily structure that supports consistency without rigidity. I explain how most people lose years, not through failure, but through predictable patterns like overcommitting, chasing urgency, and quitting in temporary emotional states. I talk about endurance versus burnout, when staying builds character and when leaving is wisdom, and how to repair quickly without self-sabotage when you fall off. This is not about perfection. It is about learning how to reset without drama and keep going. Winning 2026 is not about doing more. It is about becoming someone who can stay regulated, aligned, and reliable long enough for progress to compound. This episode is for people who are tired of starting over, tired of relying on motivation, and ready to build a life that holds under pressure. Kate Hastings | Mental Health Coach
