Ever look at your kids and see echoes of your own struggles? Today, Larry Hagner dives into a powerful and often uncomfortable truth: the unhealed wounds we carry as fathers can cast unseen shadows on our children. Inspired by the Netflix series "Adolescence," this episode unpacks the subtle yet significant ways our unresolved childhood pain impacts our ability to connect with and truly support our kids. Larry uses the story of Eddie and Jamie from "Adolescence" to illustrate how even well-intentioned dads can unintentionally pass down emotional scars if they haven't actively confronted and healed their own pasts. It's not about blame; it's about awareness and the courage to break free from generational cycles. In this raw and honest episode, you'll learn: The subtle ways your own unhealed childhood experiences can manifest in your parenting. How unresolved pain can create emotional distance and hinder genuine connection with your children. Why repeating the mistakes of our fathers is often an unconscious act rooted in our own unresolved issues. Practical steps you can take to begin confronting and healing your past wounds. The profound impact of emotional presence and intentionality in breaking generational cycles. This episode is a powerful call to action for fathers to step up—not just as providers, but as emotionally aware men who are committed to healing themselves for the sake of their families. It's a guidepost on the journey to living and fathering more intentionally, creating a new legacy for the next generation. www.thedadedge.com/friday208 www.1stphorm.com/dadedge www.thedadedge.com/25questions www.thedadedge.com/alliance

Tantra isn't just a practice—it's a profound invitation to reclaim your aliveness. In this excerpt from "Tantra Unveiled - Masterclass", Tara and Raven explore the ancient wisdom of Tantra, a path that dissolves the barriers between mind, body, and spirit. Often misunderstood as being solely about sexuality, Tantra is a sacred tradition that invites you to embrace every part of your human experience—joy, pain, desire, and grief—without judgment. It's not about fixing yourself or striving for perfection; it's about rediscovering the innate wholeness and vitality that already exists within you.Through breath, movement, and connection, Tantra teaches us how to fully inhabit our bodies and emotions. It invites us to let go of societal conditioning that numbs us and suppresses our natural instincts. Imagine a life where pleasure and pain coexist harmoniously, where your sexuality becomes a source of healing rather than shame, and where every moment is an opportunity to feel deeply alive. Tantra asks one radical question: Can you fully be yourself? This episode explores:Why Tantra is the key to unlocking deep healing and emotional freedomHow embracing your emotions leads to profound transformationThe power of slowing down and reconnecting with your body's wisdomWhy sexuality is not separate from spirituality but a potent tool for awakeningIf you're ready to break free from numbness, shame, or disconnection—and step into a life of vitality and authenticity—this is your invitation. Join us at the next Tantra retreat or dive deeper into this sacred practice. It's time to ignite your inner fire and live fully alive. Are you ready? Quotes from this episode:"Tantra isn't about trying to be anything—it's about riding the waves of aliveness. The end of all trying is the beginning of true freedom.""Trauma doesn't live in the mind; it lives in the body. When we allow our emotions to move freely, we release what isn't love and invite pleasure into our lives."Ready to embark on your own transformative journey?Join Living Tantra Retreat - Bali on April 5-12, 2025: https://embodiedawakeningacademy.com/event/living-tantra-retreat-bali-2025/Join Living Tantra Retreat - Portugal on Nov 2-9, 2025: https://embodiedawakeningacademy.com/event/living-tantra-retreat-portugal-2025/---Join our newsletter for the latest news and promos: https://embodiedawakeningacademy.activehosted.com/f/3Find out more about our courses: www.embodiedawakeningacademy.com

In this episode of The Lindsey Anderson Show, I'm joined by Glenn Gow, an accomplished CEO success coach and AI expert with over 25 years of experience. Glenn shares his valuable insights on how CEOs can leverage AI to boost productivity and enhance business operations. He also delves into the future of business coaching, and the CEO mindset that leaders must embrace to overcome new business challenges. This conversation is full of actionable advice for scaling your business and embracing personal growth as a leader.Guest Introduction:Glenn Gow is a Harvard MBA, CEO success coach, and AI expert with 25 years of experience as a CEO. He has spent five years as a venture capitalist and has advised major tech companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Glenn is also a columnist for Forbes and has spoken at significant events, such as the Wall Street Journal AI Conference and Harvard Business School. He's passionate about helping CEOs grow, evolve, and overcome challenges in today's business world. The Future of Business Coaching - Key Takeaways:AI as a Tool for CEOs: Glenn describes AI as an intern—smart but imperfect. While AI can greatly enhance productivity, CEOs must remain mindful of its limitations and always check its work. The CEO Mindset: CEOs need to evolve from being experts in one area (like engineering) to managing multiple aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, HR, and finance. It's all about personal growth to handle these new responsibilities.Delegation is Key: CEOs must master the art of delegation to avoid burnout. Shifting from micromanaging to empowering their teams allows CEOs to focus on higher-level decisions and scale their business more effectively.AI in CEO Coaching: Although AI tools can offer useful insights, the future of CEO coaching lies in building deep, personal relationships. These connections are what drive real, meaningful change in leadership and business transformation.Coaching Insights:Mindset Shift for CEOs: Glenn emphasizes that CEOs, like athletes, need coaches to continue improving even when they're already at the top of their game. A transformational coach helps you reach even higher levels of performance.Breaking Patterns for Growth: CEOs often fall into patterns of success that no longer serve them. A coach helps them identify and break those patterns to continue moving forward with new strategies for business scaling.Developing Leadership Teams: Glenn stresses that one of a CEO's primary roles is to hire and nurture a leadership team that is stronger than themselves in specific areas of the business. This is essential to scaling the business and driving long-term success.Key Stories:A CEO's Breakthrough Moment: Glenn shares a powerful story of a CEO who raised $150M instead of $50M by shifting his mindset and approach with the board. This CEO moved from asking for permission to confidently declaring his plan, which earned the board's trust and led to massive success. A great example of how coaching and a mindset shift lead to transformational growth. The Bark vs. Forest Analogy: Glenn uses this analogy to explain how CEOs often get stuck in the details (the bark) and miss the bigger picture (the forest). A coach's external perspective helps CEOs refocus and solve the right problems, enabling them to scale their business successfully.Overcoming Common CEO Obstacles:Overwhelm: Many CEOs feel responsible for everything, which leads to overwhelm and burnout. Glenn recommends using the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework to help CEOs prioritize their goals and reduce stress.

Forgiveness. Just hearing the word can feel triggering, right? Elvira and I know it's not easy, especially when we're talking about forgiving people who caused deep pain—pain that might not even start with us but has been passed down through generations. Here's the truth: forgiveness isn't about letting anyone off the hook for their actions. It's about freeing yourself from the resentment, guilt, and anger that keep you stuck in the same patterns you've inherited. Until we forgive, we can't truly heal ourselves—or disrupt the cycle of generational trauma. In this episode of The Sovereign Sisterhood Movement, Elvira and I dive into: Why forgiveness feels so hard—and why it's essential for healing generational wounds. How grudges and grievances wire your brain and nervous system to crave the stress hormones of cortisol and adrenaline. Insights from A Course in Miracles on forgiveness as a shift in perception, freeing you from pain. How Kundalini Yoga practices like meditation and mantra can help regulate your emotions and create space for healing. Practical steps you can take to release the emotional baggage of the past—for yourself and future generations. Elvira and I are here to share real, honest insights about what forgiveness looks like—not as some lofty spiritual ideal but as a daily practice that transforms your life. If you're ready to break the cycle of pain, this episode is for you. It's time to let go of the past, reclaim your power, and set a new path for yourself and your lineage.
