Send us a textBig change can feel exhilarating—and terrifying. In this personal episode, Lauren and Frank step away from their usual interview format to share the emotional rollercoaster of preparing for a major move. As they unpack their own resistance to change, they explore a powerful truth: even the most welcome transformations can stir up deep fears and old patterns.Through honest storytelling and intuitive reflection, they dive into why we sometimes cling to familiar discomfort, whether in jobs, relationships, or physical spaces. Lauren opens up about her tendency to “bottleneck for control,” while Frank reflects on staying too long in a misaligned job. Together, they examine how childhood experiences and parental fears shape our reactions to uncertainty—especially when guiding young children through big transitions.Clairvoyaging is now a fiscally sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) charity, so any donations are now tax deductible. After nearly a year away from the mic, the Bucks are back—and there's a lot to catch up on. In this comeback episode, Henry and Chris reflect on everything that's happened since the last time you heard from them. From May through August, Chris was on the road serving at a camp ministry based in Georgia, traveling across the country for over 10 weeks to support young lives through local church partnerships. Meanwhile, Henry spent May to October preparing for one of the biggest milestones of his life—marrying his wife Belle. He shares what that journey was like, from engagement to the big day, to a relaxing honeymoon in 30A, Florida.Along the way, the brothers dive into some hilarious work stories, life updates, and a few lessons they've picked up over the past year. It's a heartfelt, funny, and faith-filled return—and just the beginning of what's to come.
During this episode I chat with Lou Hardwick, a single mother and folk herbalist based on Gumbayniggir country on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. Lou's herbal creations focus on whole-plant, hand made remedies. She orients her offerings, and by extension her business, to the process of making itself. It's the presence and interaction with the plants and the process of creating that provides her with a powerful sense of self as well as the inspiration to share her love of this ever-evolving relationship with her community. She aims to empower others to lean into their plant curiosities by positioning themselves as the expert in their own senses and experiences while providing inspiration to take that first or next imperfect step towards working with plants in a way that savours both a sense of humour and reverence. In this podcast, Lou reflects on how even though small and consistent acts of self-care can be incredibly powerful, that in her experience its been the bigger yet fundamental decisions and life changes that have been her truest acts of self-care. In her story, it has been the hardest and most challenging turning points in her life that revealed the path to herbalism. Late last year Lou launched her first online education offering ‘Potent Herbal Oils' to great success, quickly transforming herbal infused oil making practices and results across her community.**SHOW NOTES**Lou shares some of her favourite teachers, including: Kami McBride- connect with Kami hereJacqui Bushell- connect with Jacqui here**CONNECT**Lou's Potent Herbal Oils Workshop is available to join at any time hereYou can get your hands on Lou's divine hand crafted herbal folk remedies hereYou can connect with JESS via instagram and facebook here and here, join her newsletter community here, buy her handmade herbal products here or book an appointment here.**BUY ME A CUPPA**If you liked the episode and want more, a cuppa fuels my work and time, which is given for free. Send me a Text Message. SUMMARYWhen big life changes come along—like, say, getting a new puppy—our business rhythm often needs to shift too. In this warm and reflective episode, I talk about how I'm preparing for a new season that will require more flexibility and care.I share what went into the decision to welcome a Finnish Lapphund puppy into our home, and how I've been mentally and practically adjusting my business in advance. From revisiting my priorities to simplifying email strategies, I'm choosing sustainability over hustle, and presence over perfection. This episode is the beginning of a new podcast series that I'll be recording in advance so I can step back this summer, while still showing up for my community and clients with intention. It's a gentle reminder that you can run a business in alignment with your life, not in competition with it.FULL SHOW-NOTES WITH TAKEAWAYS + LINKSpatternshift.fm BEST QUOTE FROM THE EPISODE“Not growing is not the same as shrinking. My toddler has never fallen asleep without me there to settle them and now they're starting childcare – how can I prepare them for this? Have you ever found yourself experiencing outwardly success, but not recognizing the person staring back at you in the mirror? Have you ever been climbing towards the top of a mountain that you're not even sure was meant for you to begin with? Phew! You already know that I'm with you on that, sister. And on this week's episode, I'm chatting with someone else who knows a thing or two about being trapped in a successful reality she doesn't belong in. Olivia Adriance is a health food enthusiast with a passion for whipping up uncomplicated, nutritious, and delicious meals out of her home kitchen in Austin, TX. After graduating University of San Diego, she worked for 4 years in corporate consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers before beginning her content creation and recipe sharing journey that you know her from today! Now I bet you're wondering — wait, corporate consulting? Accounting? And now… a recipe content creator? Yep! And the story behind how she got from point A to point B is one worth exploring. In our convo, we're chatting all about things like: Healthy eating tips on a budget (I couldn't NOT make a pivot towards a health podcast on this one) + Olivia's sound advice on what she calls “not majoring in the minors” when it comes to healthy eating. The power of community, the importance of who you surround yourself with, and why that is a fundamental ingredient in whipping up your Brand of Beautiful. What an “overnight success” experience actually looks + feels like. Hint: there's nothing ‘overnight' about it. Olivia's journey to creating her Brand of Beautiful is one worth listening to, mostly because of the difficult (yet necessary) steps she took with intention along the way. From a career she felt trapped inside of to the creative genius and Insta-chef she is in the kitchen today, Olivia is here to remind us that success is defined only through the eyes of the beholder + that you shouldn't quit working for your version of a beautiful life until you've arrived. Oh, and to make sure to cook delicious, Whole Foods along the way! Olivia ran Division I Cross Country and Track and studied Accounting at the University of San Diego. After college, Olivia worked for 4 years in corporate consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She started sharing her healthy homemade recipes on social media in 2021 and became a full-time recipe Content Creator in 2022 thanks to her 1.2M+ follower's online support!

Strap in for a heavy one. Trisha and Morgen dive into some significant life events they have recently experienced and are working through and processing. Trisha's twin sister, Jessica, moved her and the kids 10 hours away. Trisha and Jessica have been together for everything… their children's births, their marriages, Trisha's divorce, the birth of their children, all the way up to the passing of Jessica's husband two years ago. They have never been more than an hour apart. Morgen talks about the nostalgia of visiting with family she hasn't seen in over a decade, partaking in traditions and food recipes she had forgotten about, and even driving by her birth mother's house. There are phone calls, texts, FaceTime, and emails, but nothing can replace face-to-face interactions with the ones you love. Change is inevitable in life. It's how quickly you can adapt, make the most of your new situation, and embrace all that there is to learn along the way.

Earlier this spring, I had the opportunity to sit down with Deja Riley. She walked through my front door glowing more than ever. Her fertility journey has been long, difficult and heartbreaking. As she walked up the stairs, I felt this beautiful presence of life. She was newly pregnant and beaming with hope and joy. We waited to share this episode until after her recent pregnancy announcement. See her beautiful video here. If you haven't met Deja before, she is a wife, sister, friend, creative, mover, and motivator. She began her career as a dancer, performing with Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, J.Lo, and Beyoncé. She pivoted into teaching workouts and is now a global ambassador for Lululemon. She's also a podcast host for her new show, Dose of Duality where she encourages her listeners to “be a light & spread love where you go”. Deja is the definition of life, vibrance, and determination. We discuss everything from her career in the dance world, to pivoting to fitness, life as a New Yorker, finding and fostering love, and her fertility journey. She opens up about her journey with infertility and the toll it can take on a relationship with your partner. This is such an honest and beautiful episode filled with hope, authenticity, and light. On today's solo episode, which I am recording a month or so after the birth of my son, I wanted to come on and talk about big life changes while I'm in the thick of this season. Big changes can come in many different forms, maybe it's in business, a move, your routine, or growing your family. While you're navigating these changes, it can be so helpful to know what worked for someone else.
