Me and Branden Falco breakdown the signing of former MVP quarterback Cam Newton. Both of us like the signing and agree that the Pats will win the AFC East for the 12th year in a row. With decent weapons on the offensive side of the ball including a top 10 offensive line and a good backfield. Can't forget about that Pats defense still! Plenty of upsets in college basketball!! It felt like March Madness is here already. All 30 baseball teams were scheduled to play in their first game Spring Training Game. Some games were canceled due to rain. The Carolina Hurricanes needed an emergency goalie to win in Toronto last night and that's when 42 year old zamboni driver David Ayres came in and stopped 8 of 10 shots that he faced. Igor Shesterkin and the Rangers continue to play really good hockey. Currently have a 3 game winning and won 7 of their last 8 games. Fury takes down Wilder in 7 rounds to win the WBC Heavyweight Championship. I got to give Wilder credit for lasting 7 rounds due to his own issues that he had throughout the fight. I do see a 3rd match coming up in August or September between these two

Zion played like he was the number one overall pick. After watching last night's game I think the Pelicans can make a playoff push for the 8th seed in the west with a healthy Zion. Mets name Luis Rojas as their next manager. He's well respected throughout the organization and I believe this is a good hire. Eli Manning is retiring after 16 seasons in the NFL all with the Giants. Thanks for the memories Eli!!

Only 2 guys have been inducted into this year's hall of fame class. That is Derek Jeter who was one vote shy of being unanimous and Larry Walker on his final year on the ballot. Curt Schilling missed it by 20 votes which is 5 percent. Schilling will be inducted next year for sure.

The 2020 MLB Hall Of Fame election is today!! I forgot to mention the 1996 championship. 5 time World Series Champion. Derek Jeter is the second straight yankee to be unanimous. Congrats Jeter on a great career!! I have Curt Schilling and Larry Walker getting in as well.
