Joe Mazzulla is the head coach of the Boston Celtics. He joined Boston in 2019 as an assistant coach and was elevated to his current role in October 2022. (1:20:21 - 1:30:02) - It was announced that former Colts running back Nyheim Hines suffered a non-football related injury to his knee while the show was on air. Hines most notable moment with the Buffalo Bills last year was returning an opening kick for a touchdown the game after Damar Hamlin's injury. Marc and Kevin draw comparisons to the timing of Hines's injury and Colts injuries prior to the season beginning. (1:30:03 - 2:01:00) - Joel Erickson of the IndyStar calls into the program to talk Colts training camp. Kevin and Joel tease each other quickly as the Cincinnati Reds (Kevin's team) and the Milwaukee Brewers (Joel's Team) will be facing each other soon. Erickson gives his top 3 questions for GM Chris Ballard, who will be a guest on the program tomorrow. All three are similar to ones that were discussed earlier in the show. Colts haven't made many if any changes to their offensive line and Erickson is wondering if the team might be signing up their quarterbacks for failure yet again if the line doesn't improve. Does Erickson have any information on the Jonathan Taylor contract talks? Would Taylor risk sitting out the last year of his contract? Erickson believes that Richardson just has to match the potential effectiveness of Gardner Minshew to earn the Week 1 start.
