This episode we touch base with Back to Back Swish League Pro-Am Championship Coach Brian Ganster. We'll get into what's new for his Elite Ballers in the 2026 Summer season, skills training trends, and SDSU Basketball updates.

On Sunday, May 31, 2026 hundreds gathered together at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center on the campus of San Diego State University to celebrate the life of SDSU Alumnus and Super Fan, Chet Carney. In this episode we present our audio recording of the ceremony featuring speakers: Don Jones, Sarah Eishen, Jim Herrick, Steve Fisher, Brian Dutcher, and Michael Brunker. Chet Carney enrolled at San Diego State in the late 1970s where he was an SDSU yell leader for the 1978-79 athletic year. He returned to the role in the early 1980s, leading cheers from the football field at the school's request. When that ended, Carney became an unofficial cheerleader for the school he loved — and arguably SDSU's most recognizable fan.

The #1 Seed Aztecs put together some big time performances in the Mountain West Conference Tournament but fell in the Championship game vs Washington State. The Spitballer's return to put a big picture perspective to the amazing turn-around season for the Aztecs and what it means going forward.

The Spitballer's return to take an overview of San Diego State's last MW Tournament. The Aztecs caught fire at the end of the season and now are the #1 seed. Washington State, Air Force, UNLV, Nevada, and New Mexico fill in the rest of the bracket and it's going to be a hot one out in Mesa, Arizona.

The Aztecs have won a share of the Mountain West Conference Regular Season Title and head into the final week of the season before the Conference Tournament in Arizona. Jon and Sean are back to discuss it all including: potential matchups in the bracket and where the team stands nationally if they can get into regionals.

Magoon Gwath Returned to San Diego State on Valentine's Day and they defeated Nevada, 71-57. The guys were together for the game and took a couple brief minutes to recap while cruising in the SoM Creeper Van for the 1st time.

The SDSU Men's team dropped a rough road game vs Utah State and the Women's team beat Nevada to stay unbeaten in conference. Both programs still in 1st place but now in a bit different situation as the the Mountain West races heat up.

SDSU soundly beat UNLV on the road to remain in 1st place. Up next they return home Wednesday vs Colorado State and then hit the road Saturday at 2nd place Utah State. We discuss all the latest and preview the two games.
