The Pirates managed to outdo themselves from about a week ago – they were no-hit by the Cubs in Chicago. To follow, Derek Shelton blew up on Noah Hiles during the postgame chat. Who is the biggest problem between manager and GM? Fans are done with Derek Shelton and the Buccos. How should Steelers fans view Lamar Jackson as the Ravens kick off the season tonight against the Chiefs? There also seems to be less optimism that Pat Freiermuth will sign an extension before the season begins.

Brenden Schaeffer discusses the Cardinals and MLB on the off-day for St. Louis 7/11/24. Did we avoid a doomsday scenario with a Tommy Edman setback? Seemingly, yes. We'll explain the latest there after his rehab game on Thursday. The Pirates pulled Paul Skenes after 7 no-hit innings and 99 pitches. Was it a mistake? Brenden actually didn't mind the decision, and he explains why. Max Scherzer recently said he won't waive his no-trade clause, but Brenden isn't sure it's that simple. The context of the question and answer might reveal more about the situation, so we break it down. Follow this podcast feed for Cardinals coverage, daily, all season long!

The Searchers are joined again by Odie Arbuckle to discuss a very obscure movie. This time, and kind of (by accident) in honor of Canada Day, it's a 2008 baseball movie from Quebec titled A No-Hit No-Run Summer. Today could be elimination day for the Sixers. Luis Severino took a no hitter into the eighth inning and the Mets managed to lose the game. The Yankees were shut out by the Orioles. These are not the same old Orioles. Richard Jefferson seems to hate the Knicks and is in a Twitter beef situation with Knicks fan and celebrity, Ben Stiller. Boomer doesn't feel the same way about Jefferson. Gio thinks it sounds like he wants the Sixers to win and sounds annoyed that the Knicks are good. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with audio from the Yankees loss in Baltimore. We heard from Howie Rose as Severino lost his no hit bid. Keith Raad called it a ‘duck fart base hit'. What does that even mean? Denver eliminated the Lakers in five. Travis Kelce signed a 2-year deal with the Chiefs. Zeke Elliott is back with the Cowboys on a 1-year deal. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer got a lot of messages yesterday. The radio people were celebrating and his TV people treated it like a funeral. James Brown left a voicemail to Boomer that sounded like a eulogy. Boomer got a nice text message from Christopher Johnson. Brian Daboll also reached out. Al & Jerry went to Princeton Longevity Center yesterday and Al found out he needs to gain muscle and improve his bone density.

Locked On Blue Jays - Daily Podcast On The Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays get no-hit by Ronel Blanco and the Houston Astros. After the Yankees beat up the Astros in the last 4 games, this is a tough pill to swallow for the Toronto Blue Jays. Bowden Francis got lit up by a pissed-off Astros lineup, going just over 5 innings and giving up 7 runs. The Blue Jays do the most Toronto Blue Jays thing ever and become the first team of 2024 to be no-hit. And now for the offensive highlights: George Springer walked twice. That is all. We did get to see IKF on the mound, where he gave Kevin Gausman a run for his money trying to secure the role as the Blue Jays ace. This rough offensive start to the season has Blue Jays fans worried that this might be a replica of our 2023 offensive season. The Toronto Blue Jays will look for revenge in tomorrow's game, with Jose Berrios on the bump facing off against Framber Valdez, another tough pitching matchup for this lineup. Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes, Mitch White Intro: 0:00 Game Recap: 1:25 Bowden Francis: 12:54 Huge Win + Valdez vs Berrios: 20:35 Outro: 28:40 Twitter: @Brayden5Ewasko @Carterfuerst2 Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dialedinjays Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…
