This week, Justin and Alex talk about the limited release of "Your Name" across US theaters. They also found news about the world's first piloted mobile suit ..and it surprisingly wasn't from Japan! However, the giant Gundam in Tokyo is being replaced, we have more info on the spa amusement park and exotic Pringles flavors.

Alex and Justin give their opinion on the new "Ghost in the Shell" movie this week! They also talk about the first episode of "Call to Cosplay", the new competition show on Syfy. In Japan, McDonald's is taking a classic staple off of their menu, Pokemon Go is helping combat suicide and Starbucks is adding a fun "American" drink.

Justin and Alex finish up their look at the ice skating anime "Yuri!!! on ICE" and give some details on a new anime coming to US theaters, "Your Name". They talk about the new trailer that dropped for the Netflix adaptation of "Death Note" and the upcoming adaptation of "Ghost in the Shell." The couple also provide insight on their visit to Washington DC for the National Cherry Blossom Festival last week.

This week, Alex and Justin start on the first 6 episodes of the ice skating anime, "Yuri!!! on Ice". In tech, they talk about some of the changes coming with the newest PS4 update, like the ability to use an external drive! Netflix has been developing a new animated "Castlevania" miniseries, SyFy Channel has a new cosplay competition show, and they found a new tabletop game set in feudal Japan on Kickstarter. Finally, Alex and Justin touch on some Tokyo Olympics news, such as the public donating to the medals, and some anime ambassadors that have already been chosen for the event.

Justin and Alex are back with a new format! They finally finish up their look at "Nanbaka: The Numbers", give their thoughts on using Pokemon GO for the Apple Watch and found some info on an anime themed English class at the University of South Carolina. Justin and Alex also talk about the soon to be release of "Attack on Titan" season 2 as well as some upcoming events that they will be attending; such as the cherry blossom festival in Washington DC!

Alex and Justin finish up their look at "Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation" and start the first 6 episodes of the much less serious anime, "Nanbaka: The numbers" . They also had the opportunity to check out George Takei's "Allegiance" Broadway musical. In tech, they revisit the Gatebox holographic roommate, which now has a release date and Sony is creating an interactive smart pad to play card games on. In video games, Justin downloaded "Super Mario Run" and they talk about the second trailer for "Death Stranding."

Justin and Alex finish up their look at "Kurokos Basketball" and start the first 6 episodes of "Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation." They talk about new "Pokemon GO" updates as well as some fun "Final Fantasy XV" PR and how much progress they've made streaming "Dark Souls 3" on Twitch. Meanwhile, in Japan, another massive earthquake has struck, but the country is continuing on by trying to open a spa amusement park and delivering pizzas via reindeer.

Alex and Justin finish up their look at FFXV by watching the CG feature film, Kingsglaive. They also watch the first 6 episodes of a sports anime called Kuroko's Basketball before some special news about a Miyazaki film coming back to US theaters. In gaming, the duo has been streaming the Resident Evil HD Remaster on Twitch and Alex has been playing World of Final Fantasy. One old console is getting the axe while two more are getting rebooted, AND it's the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog!

Justin and Alex finish up their look at the motorcycle club anime "Bakuon!!" and watch the short mini series for Final Fantasy XV: Brotherhood. They also give some info on where to stream the much anticipated Dragon Ball Super series before moving into some interesting tech news! An e-reader coming soon that's specifically for manga, Nintendo's new console finally debuted, and some bugs found in the new Playstation VR. They finish up this episode with a brief history of Halloween in Japan and how it's evolving.

Justin and Alex finish up their look at "Death Note" and start on the high school anime "Bakuon!!" They also talk about a Studio Ghibli series coming soon to US streaming before moving on to a new mini companion robot designed by Toyota. In video games, two streamers battled to set a new speed record for the NES classic Super Mario Bros and Maroon 5 tried their hand at a Pokemon GO homage. The crossplayer Ladybeard has created a new "music video" commercial with KFC and Justin and Alex have some opinions..

Justin and Alex finish up their look at "Taboo Tattoo" and start on the acclaimed "Death Note" series as well as news for a new upcoming version. They mention some Babymetal news before jumping into video games, with news on Resident Evil Vendetta, Death Stranding and a new console from Nintendo. Meanwhile, in Japan, a new dating simulator is coming out, but is it for the best?

Alex and Justin finish up their look at "Magi: Adventure of Sinbad" and start the first 6 episodes of the new anime "Taboo Tattoo" before sharing some interesting "Fullmetal Alchemist" news. They also have some new interesting updates about Nintendo Streetpass, Pokemon Go, Sailor Moon Drops and an Apple Watch RPG by Square Enix! Justin and Alex also have details about a new Kawasaki engine being developed that will actually interact with it's riders, a "Kiki's Delivery Service" stage play and possible travel plans for the Tokyo Olympics!

Justin and Alex finish up their look at "Voltron: Legendary Defender" and start watching "Magi: Adventures of Sinbad". They also took a trip to the movie theater to check out the stop motion film "Kubo and the Two Strings". In gaming news, they talk about the new trailer for "Metal Gear Survive" as well as the new release date of "Final Fantasy XV". Meanwhile, in Japan, the yearly pikachu outbreak took over Yokohama, Tokyo is trying out "Pokemon Go" matchmaking and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Osaka will be featuring a special event found only in Japan!

Alex and Justin visited their second Star Wars Celebration! This year, the convention was held overseas in London, UK. Listen in as they recap the good, the bad, the cosplay and of course, the Japanese influence. While exploring London and Glasgow, they made sure to check out some restaurants, comic shops and even found a zen garden.

Justin and Alex finish up their look at "Yo-Kai Watch" and start the Netflix original "Voltron: Legendary Defender". They have a discussion about anime inspired shows created outside of Japan as well as a forward thinking anime created inside of Japan. In the world of tech, e-sports are moving forward with televised tournaments, Yamaha has some cool concept vehicles and Honda showcases cosplay in a positive light. The duo found rumors of a Final Fantasy board game for the US but meanwhile, in Japan, collectors seem to be set on larger life-size items.

Alex and Justin complete the first season of "Tokyo Ghoul" and start on a completely different kind of spooky anime, "Yo-Kai Watch!" They also cover a lot of Sony's announcements from E3, including the PS NEO and some VR game trailers. They finish up this episode by giving their opinions after playing through the demo of "Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour" and completing "Dark Souls 3"

Alex and Justin finish up their look at the cycling anime, "Yowamushi Pedal" and start up the popular supernatural series, "Tokyo Ghoul!" They also found a cool new robot phone that's more like an interactive buddy and explore the virtual idol, Hatsune Miku's impact on the music industry. In China, Nintendo has stirred up some serious controversy surrounding the Pokemon games.. but, meanwhile, in Japan, there are holy toilets and a Toto gallery.

In this episode, Alex and Justin finish the dark magical girl series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" before starting a fan-suggested sports anime about cycling: "Yowamushi Pedal." They talk about bikes in Japan and the innovative storage system used in some cities, before moving on to a nostalgic crowdfund they found, a new Nintendo venture coming soon, and some exciting Pokemon GO news!

Justin and Alex finished up the next 6 episodes of "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma" and found that the Food Wars universe extends all way from cookbooks to video games. They also start a new anime, and review the first half of the unconventional magical girl story, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" before giving some updates about Miitomo and Sailor Moon Drops. They've also finally logged some hours into Dark Souls 3! Finally, in the world of Nintendo, they have some minor news about the NX as well as a new line of nostalgic goodies coming soon!

Alex and Justin finish their look at the dark thriller ""Erased"" and begin a fun ecchi series called ""Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma."" They also have news about a cosplayer doing voiceover work for an ecchi video game and talk about a step into the future with drones. Like Sailor Moon? Alex and Justin tell you about a new mobile game, fun figures coming out, a pop up cafe and a short term exhibit featuring the pretty guardians. They also talk about an upcoming metal and Jpop fusion group gaining popularity in the US and an official Dark Souls board game!

This week Justin and Alex finish talking about the baseball anime, ""Ace of Diamond"" and a Japanese baseball curse on the Hanshin Tigers that's lasted over 30 years, similar to the curse on the Boston Red Sox. They also start a new, darker anime ""Erased"" and give their first thoughts on the show. Alex gives some quick updates on Miitomo and Neko Atsume. Then the duo dive deep into the upcoming Final Fantasy XV and all the goodies coming with it! Alex and Justin finish up their look at the podcast's first sports anime, "Haikyuu!" and celebrate the opening of baseball season with the baseball anime "Ace of the Diamond." Being springtime, the sakura trees are blooming and the duo recap their trip to Ohio University to see the 200 cherry blossom trees on campus. In games, they talk about Nintendo's new mobile app, Miitomo, as well as Neko Atsume. Meanwhile in Japan, cats are not only the stars of cute games, but holding jobs!

They also found a new retro themed 3DS coming out only in Japan AND the awesome new way that you can get one (along with other Japan exclusive games and consoles) if you're in the US! Justin and Alex also bring you some cool news regarding the new Pokemon mobile game, the re-release of a favorite Zelda game, as well as a modern update to a traditional toy. Hungry? Alex and Justin return after a 6 month hiatus in time for Valentine’s Day! They watched the anime “My Love Story / Ore Monogatari” and a documentary about Love Hotels in Japan. They’ll tell you about a new one before diving into a recently released Nintendo 3DS game, an event in Las Vegas, a fun Superbowl halftime show idea and more!

Alex and Justin review the movie Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works. They also talk about the anticipated upcoming robot battle between the US and Japan! Remember Robot Combat League? They do! Justin also found a certain soccer star's interesting Japanese commercials as well as a slushie maker for BEER. Yes, beer slushies. You can even drink them at a couple of stadiums in the US.

Alex and Justin review the anime ""Berserk: Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King"" and it's confusing mix of 2D and 3D animation. They also have news regarding a couple of fun side projects from Studio Ghibli, a very large 3D printed character from Max Factory and a super creative new game from Nintendo! Meanwhile, in Japan, the first wedding of it's kind took place as an unexpected couple got married.

This week, Alex and Justin review the first Naruto Shippuden movie (4th in the complete series of Naruto movies) and talk about some of the super neat things people are doing to their vehicles in Japan, like dekotora, itasha.. and, a real transformer?! They also touch on the handsome gorilla that everyone was talking about as well as a pudding mold that makes jiggly butts!

Alex and Justin focus on a lot of Final Fantasy in this episode, including: the FFX remaster, original PSX FF7, the FF7 movie Advent Children and last, but not least.. the huge news from E3 about the FF7 remake! They also touch on World of Final Fantasy, the Kingdom Hearts franchise and even some Mega Man. Oh, and guess which manga recently broke a Guinness World Record!

This week, Alex and Justin talk about the controversial 90's anime ""Kite"" and the impact it had in other media. They also discuss it's sequel ..if you can call it that, before moving on to a kickstarter fund for a new video game from an ex-Konami designer/producer. They also talk about a cool international robot competition from DARPA before being confused about a tweet they found from PETA. Meanwhile, in Japan, criminal activity is afoot as the theft of this essential, but unlikely, item is at an all time high!

"Alex and Justin review their first anime from a fan suggestion: ""Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet"" before a quick discussion of the ""Dragon Ball"" franchise and some newly registered versions of the PS4 and XBox One. Alex found a new pop up store and a very very old cosplay photo, while Justin breaks Alex's brain talking about Godzilla, hot springs and neanderthals...what? Meanwhile, in Japan, a spa resort has introduced some fun flavored baths.."

Justin and Alex watched the anime Kill la Kill and give you their thoughts. They also talk about the crazy advances in robotics that Japan has made and compare them to some of the robots being used in the US. Alex and Justin compare the American movie “Edge of Tomorrow” to it’s counterpart, the Japanese manga “All You Need is Kill.” Turns out there are a lot of differences. They also talk about Square Enix using the new DirectX12 graphics programming interface and what the tech demo showed them, before moving on to the possibilities of Universal park’s upcoming Nintendo rides and attractions. Also, FanimeCon is coming up, so they go over some of the scheduled happenings. Meanwhile, in Japan, Godzilla has been named a tourism ambassador and you can now stay at a luxury hotel with his monster face outside your window!

Alex and Justin are back to discuss anime and the increasing use of CG. They watched a Studio Ghibli documentary, KanColle and the Netflix original anime, Knights of Sidonia. They also talk about Bloodborne, Box Boy, Splatoon and 3DS Streetpass before ending with an adapter that turns your smartphone into a Gameboy! Meanwhile in Japan, a fun lung exercise tool has been created and Taco Bell returns after 20 years!

Alex and Justin recap their 3 day experience at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA, including Justin’s very first experience cosplaying! They discuss all of the wonders both seen and not seen on the convention floors, the influence of Japan in the Star Wars universe and how a Japanese airline unveiled an R2D2 themed Boeing 787.
