"Did you know?!"... that Loretta Anne Miller has been a Titanic enthusiast since age 6? Yup. She's got the proof in her horribly written school kid journal that her favorite game to play on the Braham Elementary playground was Titanic, her favorite book w

IT'S OFFICIALLY HERE!! 4/12/2024. It is in theaters now!!Thanks to the Pasadena International Film Festival and Unsinkable's AMAZING marketing team, Hawks Hill Films, I was able to not only attend as official press but met Director Cody Hartman, Producer/Screenwriter Brian Hartman, Actor Cotter Smith, and Composer Scott Glasgow. This is a remarkable film that I HIGHLY encourage you Titanic gurus out there to see. Take the fam-- its rated PG because --- no boobs! But seriously, my biggest upset was it wasn't long enough for me but... we are in an era of 3 hour films (I'm looking at you Oppenheimer & Dune 2) so it felt far too short for me. I highly suggest you see the film before you listen to avoid SPOILERS ... Spoiler: the Titanic sinks. #bruceismaySLAM #fleetjusticeSip sip hooray... its time for Tea-Tanic!
You guys!!! The secret finally gets to come out... I got to see "Unsinkable: Titanic Untold" on the BIG SCREEN before its theatrical release next Friday, 4/12/2024. Thanks to the Pasadena International Film Festival and Unsinkable's AMAZING marketing team, I was able to not only attend as official press but started my morning sitting down with Northern Ireland stage and film actress, Jayne Wisener. Jayne was absolutely a GEM & a total trooper chatting with me, despite her slightly tired voice. She has been traveling all over with the cast and crew of Unsinkable as we approach the official release-- perfectly timed on Titanic Anniversary weekend. Jayne and I were both a little nervous but quickly fell into sync --and not just because we had matching blazers on. She even suggest a new soundbite to add to the pod--- and girl, I included it just for you!!! Stir yourself a cup... its time for Tea-Tanic!
HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS!I'm back and big mad after the recent discovery of a certain foundation that isrequesting patron donations and claiming they are going to raise the Titanic in 5 parts. After reaching out to contacts, reading NOAA documentation, and getting confirmation from RMST, I am taking to the mic to blow the lid off this and raise something more important first... awareness on the probability of this EVER happening and where your money would be going. Who is behind "Raise The Titanic Foundation"? Hit play to find out . Show notes:https://www.noaa.gov/gc-international-section/rms-titanic-2017-act-legislationSpecial thanks everyone in Instagram & beyond who played a part in finding this information and formulation this episode with me.

I think we are all feeling some type of way so pour a glass and feel your feels with me! Love you, mean it! Ps I curse ALOT.
An honorable Titanic week to you all! This week I start off by sharing how I memorialized the Titanic this week with myself, my co-workers, and you! Next, I am joined by my special guests and very good friends Tyler & Travis. Both of whom are active theatre goers in NYC! We sat down to revisit the musical and chat about their thoughts and praise over the Titanique musical now playing Off-Broadway. Finally, I finish off with my thoughts on Ewan Stewart publicly apologizing for his portrayal of Officer Murdoch in Cameron's 1997 "Titanic". Cheers to 111 years.

She was thoughtful enough to record her live reactions to the exhibit, the experience, and what she saw...even if she broke the rules doing it!Join us as we talk about the shipyard history, the contemporary feel to the museum itself, setting foot on The Nomadic, and.... the ride!? Yes, you read that-- a ride. With a cue like Disneyland and everythang. Hit play! Let's gooooooo *kiss*
Happy Halloweekend Tea-Tanic listeners! It's my MOST favorite eve of the year so I put together an extra special episode for you this Halloween! Join me and former Artifact Specialist at the Titanic Artifact Exhibition Las Vegas, Michael Bustamante as he shares his ghostly encounters. Calling all skeptics & spiritualist alike!!Cozy up and get ready; we've got Thomas Andrews just chillin' in Vegas, a First Class passengers spirit hunting down his own glasses, and the giggling little girl (Eva Hart???) jumping up and down on the Grand Staircase!
AH! She makes yet another return from a long content creating break because... TITANIC BURN OUT IS REAL Y'ALL. It's okay to admit it. Hang out with me and my rambling train of thought making frequent stops on topics like; Titanic film Foley artist sounds, Adeles Titanic themed 30th birthday party hosted at a Hollywood studio, TitanicTok, the pressures of making something for the Titanic community to hear, Titanic Novelties (where is the line people!?) and more more more.
Tea-Tanic Season 2 rolls on with our very first watch party!! This episode, I bring back my bestie and favorite fellow critic Adara Bryan. You longtime listeners should remember her from last seasons review episode of the Off-Broadway Titanic Musical "Titanique". As if we didn't get enough Titanic inspired forms of media... we are back to watch what you all voted for... "Titanic 666". Released on the 110th anniversary, "Titanic 666" is a Tubi Original horror film centered around the Titanic 3 setting sail from NYC with... wait for it... INFLUENCERS, a crazy medium who looks like a cross between and Annabelle Doll and Billie Lourde, and some dude with a real bad Irish dialect wearing a dead persons ring. COOL. Join us & watch along! "Titanic 666" can be viewed for free on the Tubi ... but be warned, there are add breaks. *This film is rated TV-MA & so is our reactions* Cheers!
TeaTanic is back and the tea is hot with a little spice this season! Join me and Arron Flanangan (@titanic_artist) of the popular Titanic podcast Time to Talk Titanic as we spill the tea about some of the drama happening in the Titanic community. Both Arron and I have witnessed or experienced some major gatekeeping in popular Titanic online forums. Not to mention the hate comments and name calling as we put our Titanic content out on the internet. Have a seat, grab some tea (or gin like Arron), and strap in to hear the not so lovely hold the Titanic has on us in 2022. #TitanicTrolls
This season of Tea-Tanic is about to sound a whole lot different. After creating her first season around getting to know the Titanic community and those involved, Loretta has discovered there is a lot more happening around the Titanic than we read in our history books. Titanic in 2022 is a whole different animal... so let s get into it. Don't like gossip? Don't like jokes? Are you offended if I don't like James Cameron the most? Does the F word make you irrationally angry? Then you should skip this season of Tea-Tanic. Love you, mean it.
The long awaited season 1 finale has arrived!! After a few weeks of life set backs, I got back in the booth to recount my recent visit to the Las Vegas Titanic Artifact Exhibit. Join me as I retrace my steps through the experience, recount this first season of "Tea-Tanic", and look straight ahead at whats coming in season 2! Much love and thanks for all of my previous guests: Kjerstin & Danny Scheyer, James Penca, Adara Bryan, Simon Medhurst, Jim Myers, Angelica Harris, Adrian Saker, & Chelsea Pinkard!
WARNING: This episode contains explicit language of the sexual nature due to direct quotation of the show and commentary on the material in "Titanique". After a year of Broadway being dark, it was no surprise that Adara and I were THRILLED to be able to purchase tickets and watch a a live streamed performance of a new parody musical that just so happened to be a parody of Titanic (1997). Welp, the show wasn't all smooth sailing, and certainly was not spared a disastrous end. I am a firm believer that comedy should punch up, make your audience connect the dots, don't just drown them in d**k jokes.
Hang out with my new Titanic bestie Chelsea and I as we gush about Titanic historical fiction books, cringe at Titanic ASMR (WHAT?!), marvel over Titanic inspired music, Taylor Swift, The Queen Mary, and so so much more! It's our longest episode yet, friends, but I swear its worth every minute! After you listen, give Chelsea a follow on social media (@thetitanicgirlblog) or visit her blog directly at www.titanicgirlblog.com to keep up with Titanic book reviews, music and more!
It's the weekend after the 109th Anniversary and I've got another great guest. Joining me is Titanic Museum's Education Executive, James (Jim) Myers. Sit in and sip some tea with us as we talk about what visitors of both museum locations can expect, the education & outreach programs offered for students, I ask questions about ghosts (because of course I do), and I learn how Anne Frank was connected to The Ship of Dreams.
It's anniversary week, friends! Join me as I chat with Founder & President of the Titanic Memorial Lighthouse, Adrian Saker, about the current state and upcoming plans for TML's grand restoration. But wait, there's more! I am also joined by Titanic Memorial Lighthouse's own Descendant Advocate & author of " Titanic Brothers Peracchio: Two Boys and a Dream" Angelica Harris, as she graciously shares her family story & connection to The Titanic. TML Donation Link: http://gf.me/u/zhhyh2
This week, I meet my first Titanic descendent (silent scream of excitement!), Simon Medhurst. Simon is the Great Grandson of Titanic Quartermaster Robert Hitchens Helmsman, otherwise known as “The Man Who Sank the Titanic” and who was famously portrayed in lifeboat #6 with Margaret Brown in the 1997 film. Listen in as Simon graciously shares his family story and we set the record straight on Roberts life.
Hang out with my theatre pal, long time friend and my fellow Minnesota gal, Adara Bryan as we talk about SO many things from our friendship, mutual Titanic love, Titanic Musicals, shipwrecks, to a comparative look at the Titanic 1998/1999 artifact exhibit vs, the Titanic 2011 Science Museum exhibit... all in 60 (ish) informational minutes... ready GO!
This week I'm chatting with Titanic historian, social media's own "Man in a Musical", and personal bestie with Mandy Patinkin, James Penca. In this episode, we recount how far his Titanic obsession & interests have taken him in life, deep dive & disprove the various Titanic conspiracy theories floating around, explore the Titanic video game world, and talk the haunted Queen Mary ocean liner.
Dear James Cameron, we've said too much. This week on "Tea-Tanic", hang out and goof with me and my two closest friends as we relive some NYC nights, seamlessly transition into Titanic facts and stories, and end with a dramatic table read of the Titanic Senate Hearing transcripts from 1912.
Welcome to the very first Tea-Tanic! In this short intro episode, I explain why I've started this series, whats to come, and where my love for the Titanic came from.
