We're changing the future of work one leader at a time.
This week on The Brave Collective, we're having a real talk about what it actually looks like to position yourself as an executive leader—whether or not you've got the title (yet). We're walking through six strategies that will help you shift out of workhorse mode and into a mindset that's focused, strategic, and impactful. Things like how to delegate well (even when you don't have a team), how to protect your time and energy, and how to advocate for yourself without guilt or apology.Because here's the truth: you don't need a corner office or a C-suite role to start thinking—and leading—like an executive. The habits, mindset, and presence of great leaders are things you can practice right now, right where you are.If you're ready to stop doing all the things and start doing the right things that move your career forward, this one's for you.Featured Links:Visit my website hereWant to chat?: emailFollow me on Instagram hereFollow me on Threads hereCheck out my FREE Workshop here This is a public episode. Have you ever caught yourself hesitating to ask for what you really want — whether it's at work, at home, or even with your friends? It's easy to assume people just know what we need, but the truth is... they don't.The good news? Speaking up doesn't have to feel intimidating. In my latest episode of The Brave Collective, I share why voicing your needs is crucial — and how it can be the key to unlocking your biggest goals. Plus, we'll talk about the one simple question you should be asking yourself. Here are a few takeaways from the episode:✅ Clarity creates momentum. When you know what you want (and can communicate it clearly), others are more willing — and able — to support you.✅ Your voice matters. Speaking up isn't just about getting what you need; it's about building trust and fostering meaningful connections.✅ Small asks lead to big wins. You don't have to start with a bold declaration — sometimes small, intentional conversations can create powerful shifts. If you've been holding back, consider this your nudge to start advocating for yourself. Because dreams don't build themselves — but when you invite others in, amazing things can happen.
In this episode of The Brave Collective, we're breaking down the difference between fear and discernment. Are you making choices based on wisdom and self-trust, or are you letting past wounds and outside opinions steer your path? It's time to sharpen your awareness, stand firm in your values, and choose the arrows that truly align with your purpose. What You'll Learn in This 10 Minute Episode:
Despite years of progress, women in the workplace still face challenges—being overlooked, underestimated, or left out of key decisions. In this episode, I share a personal story of experiencing bias firsthand and the mindset shifts that helped me rise above it. We'll talk about how to advocate for yourself, build unshakable confidence, and step into leadership—even in male-dominated spaces. If you've ever felt unseen in your career, this episode will remind you of your worth, your power, and your ability to make an impact.
Hey Brave Listener,This week on The Brave Collective podcast, I'm sharing about managing stress and keeping our balance during the holidays - a season that's often anything but restful. I'm telling a funny (and slightly chaotic) story, complete with a middle-of-the-night store run and a turkey fail, to highlight just how much the holiday hustle can throw us off.Is work/life balance even a thing? And when it comes to the holidays, how do working moms balance the demands of the season with their jobs, while still showing up where it matters most?I learned the hard way how to finally find a rhythm that let me prioritize the little big things. In this episode, you'll hear some practical tips to help you create your own boundaries and better support your mental and emotional well-being this season. And if you're a leader, there's advice in here for creating an environment where working moms can thrive without constantly juggling or just barely keeping up.Listen in,Featured Links:Visit my website hereCoaching & Speaking Resources:Speaking/Workshop Inquiry: emailExplore coaching services: here15 minute clarity call: emailWays to connect on socialFollow me on Instagram hereFollow me on Threads here Get full access to The Brave Collective at daniellemorgan.substack.com/subscribe

In this episode, we are going back to our roots and chatting directly with women of faith who want to step bravely toward their leadership potential so they can thrive in their careers and beyond.Men, there's lots of a good stuff for you in this episode, too!Episode Summary: In this episode, I'm exploring actionable strategies for women in the workplace to bridge the diversity gap and create pathways for leadership and professional growth. While it's crucial for leaders and male colleagues to support diversity initiatives, women must also actively advocate for themselves. In this episode, I'll discuss the importance of self-advocacy, setting standards, and taking responsibility for one's professional development. Here's a brief scoop of what's in store and a quick run-down of the 7 practices you should be adopting now in your career:* Don't Wait for Permission: Don't wait for others to recognize your needs or invite you to the table. Identify what you want and take initiative to be included in important discussions and decisions.* Lead the Conversation: Take charge of meetings by preparing a brief hit list of key points and updates. This shows leadership and helps manage conversations effectively, positioning you as a proactive professional.* Plan Ahead: Preparation and planning are essential for being taken seriously in leadership roles. Show up to your responsibilities prepared, researched, and on time.* Learn From Others: Always be a learner, regardless of your position. Observe and emulate the qualities of those you admire, and learn from everyone around you.* Communicate Out Loud: Open and honest communication is crucial. Don't let feelings fester—express your needs and address issues openly to break down barriers.* Create Healthy Margin: Maintain a healthy work-life balance. Prioritize self-care, rest, nutrition, and mental health to be the best version of yourself at work and in life.* Find Solutions: Be solution-oriented. When identifying problems, bring potential solutions to your leaders. Hey leader: your bandwidth isn't the problem. That's right. In fact, bandwidth is a symptom of a something else going on and today I'm unpacking 4 areas you can master that will increase your bandwidth and put you back in the driver's seat with your time. Who doesn't want that?Personal bandwidth increases significantly when we learn to master these 4 areas of leadership: delegation, clear communication, prioritization, and time management. In this discussion, we'll be unpacking each of these leadership pillars to help solve the bandwidth problem you may be having. I want to remind you that we all have the same number of minutes in our day. It's what we do with our minutes that determine our margin, level of productivity, and dare I say it… bandwidth. And while you may be carrying too big a load or expected to manage too much, there has to be a level of ownership over our time that puts us back in the driver's seat and out of the victim's chair. The good news? With practice and the right application, you can build a life of increased bandwidth, freeing you up to do the things that matter most.Question to consider:* In what area do I lack the most experience: delegation, clear communication, prioritization, or time management?* What are some ways I can develop in that area?* Let's take an inventory of my bandwidth:* what are some things I could delegate to someone else?* what areas do I need to get clarity on?* do my priorities need to be adjusted?* what is one way I can build margin back into my day?Until next time, lead well friends-Resources & LinksThe Brave Collective on Substack: hereCoaching & Speaking Resources:Speaking/Workshop Inquiry: hereExplore coaching services hereWays to connect on socialFollow on Instagram hereFollow on Threads here Get full access to The Brave Collective at daniellemorgan.substack.com/subscribe

Welcome to a very special bonus episode where we're taking a short break from our “conflict resolution” series to chat about a very important, counter-cultural concept that will not only help you in your work, but in your relationships and in your life. Here's a short teaser from this week's episode:Culture preaches the idea that we should be able to balance it all, making life seem like some sort of juggling act. We have so many messages telling us to show up, do more, be the best and that there's no limit to what we can achieve. But the truth is, there is a limit to what we can achieve, and you know what? That's a very good thing. I don't believe that life is supposed to be a balancing act and that you and I were made to juggle all the things and show up in one place while our brains are still processing another. But how does one get there? To some of us, this reality seems completely unobtainable, but I promise you that there is hope. There is an alternative to what culture is shoving down your throat, but it takes focus. Today I'll share a few intentional steps you can take that will help you embrace less noise, be present for your people, do your best work, finishing your day strong. Thanks for listening!
