This week on The Brave Collective, we're having a real talk about what it actually looks like to position yourself as an executive leader—whether or not you've got the title (yet). We're walking through six strategies that will help you shift out of workhorse mode and into a mindset that's focused, strategic, and impactful. Things like how to delegate well (even when you don't have a team), how to protect your time and energy, and how to advocate for yourself without guilt or apology.Because here's the truth: you don't need a corner office or a C-suite role to start thinking—and leading—like an executive. The habits, mindset, and presence of great leaders are things you can practice right now, right where you are.If you're ready to stop doing all the things and start doing the right things that move your career forward, this one's for you.Featured Links:Visit my website hereWant to chat?: emailFollow me on Instagram hereFollow me on Threads hereCheck out my FREE Workshop here This is a public episode. Have you ever caught yourself hesitating to ask for what you really want — whether it's at work, at home, or even with your friends? It's easy to assume people just know what we need, but the truth is... they don't.The good news? Speaking up doesn't have to feel intimidating. In my latest episode of The Brave Collective, I share why voicing your needs is crucial — and how it can be the key to unlocking your biggest goals. Plus, we'll talk about the one simple question you should be asking yourself. Here are a few takeaways from the episode:✅ Clarity creates momentum. When you know what you want (and can communicate it clearly), others are more willing — and able — to support you.✅ Your voice matters. Speaking up isn't just about getting what you need; it's about building trust and fostering meaningful connections.✅ Small asks lead to big wins. You don't have to start with a bold declaration — sometimes small, intentional conversations can create powerful shifts. If you've been holding back, consider this your nudge to start advocating for yourself. Because dreams don't build themselves — but when you invite others in, amazing things can happen.
In this episode of The Brave Collective, we're breaking down the difference between fear and discernment. Are you making choices based on wisdom and self-trust, or are you letting past wounds and outside opinions steer your path? It's time to sharpen your awareness, stand firm in your values, and choose the arrows that truly align with your purpose. What You'll Learn in This 10 Minute Episode:
Despite years of progress, women in the workplace still face challenges—being overlooked, underestimated, or left out of key decisions. In this episode, I share a personal story of experiencing bias firsthand and the mindset shifts that helped me rise above it. We'll talk about how to advocate for yourself, build unshakable confidence, and step into leadership—even in male-dominated spaces. If you've ever felt unseen in your career, this episode will remind you of your worth, your power, and your ability to make an impact.
Hey Brave Listener,This week on The Brave Collective podcast, I'm sharing about managing stress and keeping our balance during the holidays - a season that's often anything but restful. I'm telling a funny (and slightly chaotic) story, complete with a middle-of-the-night store run and a turkey fail, to highlight just how much the holiday hustle can throw us off.Is work/life balance even a thing? And when it comes to the holidays, how do working moms balance the demands of the season with their jobs, while still showing up where it matters most?I learned the hard way how to finally find a rhythm that let me prioritize the little big things. In this episode, you'll hear some practical tips to help you create your own boundaries and better support your mental and emotional well-being this season. And if you're a leader, there's advice in here for creating an environment where working moms can thrive without constantly juggling or just barely keeping up.Listen in,Featured Links:Visit my website hereCoaching & Speaking Resources:Speaking/Workshop Inquiry: emailExplore coaching services: here15 minute clarity call: emailWays to connect on socialFollow me on Instagram hereFollow me on Threads here Get full access to The Brave Collective at daniellemorgan.substack.com/subscribe

In this episode, we are going back to our roots and chatting directly with women of faith who want to step bravely toward their leadership potential so they can thrive in their careers and beyond.Men, there's lots of a good stuff for you in this episode, too!Episode Summary: In this episode, I'm exploring actionable strategies for women in the workplace to bridge the diversity gap and create pathways for leadership and professional growth. While it's crucial for leaders and male colleagues to support diversity initiatives, women must also actively advocate for themselves. In this episode, I'll discuss the importance of self-advocacy, setting standards, and taking responsibility for one's professional development. Here's a brief scoop of what's in store and a quick run-down of the 7 practices you should be adopting now in your career:* Don't Wait for Permission: Don't wait for others to recognize your needs or invite you to the table. Identify what you want and take initiative to be included in important discussions and decisions.* Lead the Conversation: Take charge of meetings by preparing a brief hit list of key points and updates. This shows leadership and helps manage conversations effectively, positioning you as a proactive professional.* Plan Ahead: Preparation and planning are essential for being taken seriously in leadership roles. Show up to your responsibilities prepared, researched, and on time.* Learn From Others: Always be a learner, regardless of your position. Observe and emulate the qualities of those you admire, and learn from everyone around you.* Communicate Out Loud: Open and honest communication is crucial. Don't let feelings fester—express your needs and address issues openly to break down barriers.* Create Healthy Margin: Maintain a healthy work-life balance. Prioritize self-care, rest, nutrition, and mental health to be the best version of yourself at work and in life.* Find Solutions: Be solution-oriented. When identifying problems, bring potential solutions to your leaders. This demonstrates leadership and initiative, helping you advance quickly.Resources & links to connect with us:The Brave Collective on Substack: https://daniellemorgan.substack.com/s/the-brave-collectiveThe Brave Collective website: https://www.thebravecllctv.com/Coaching & Speaking Resources:Speaking/Workshop Inquiry: emailExplore coaching services here15 minute clarity call: emailWays to connect on socialFollow Danielle on Instagram hereFollow Danielle on Threads hereFollow The Brave Collective on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thebravecllctvTune in to this empowering episode and start taking charge of your career today!Until next time, Get full access to The Brave Collective at daniellemorgan.substack.com/subscribe

Hey leader: your bandwidth isn't the problem. That's right. In fact, bandwidth is a symptom of a something else going on and today I'm unpacking 4 areas you can master that will increase your bandwidth and put you back in the driver's seat with your time. Who doesn't want that?Personal bandwidth increases significantly when we learn to master these 4 areas of leadership: delegation, clear communication, prioritization, and time management. In this discussion, we'll be unpacking each of these leadership pillars to help solve the bandwidth problem you may be having. I want to remind you that we all have the same number of minutes in our day. It's what we do with our minutes that determine our margin, level of productivity, and dare I say it… bandwidth. And while you may be carrying too big a load or expected to manage too much, there has to be a level of ownership over our time that puts us back in the driver's seat and out of the victim's chair. The good news? With practice and the right application, you can build a life of increased bandwidth, freeing you up to do the things that matter most.Question to consider:* In what area do I lack the most experience: delegation, clear communication, prioritization, or time management?* What are some ways I can develop in that area?* Let's take an inventory of my bandwidth:* what are some things I could delegate to someone else?* what areas do I need to get clarity on?* do my priorities need to be adjusted?* what is one way I can build margin back into my day?Until next time, lead well friends-Resources & LinksThe Brave Collective on Substack: hereCoaching & Speaking Resources:Speaking/Workshop Inquiry: hereExplore coaching services hereWays to connect on socialFollow on Instagram hereFollow on Threads here Get full access to The Brave Collective at daniellemorgan.substack.com/subscribe

To kick off a new month, we’re deep diving into everything get to know yo’ self because, let’s be honest, through all the mess that life brings, we can move further and further away from who we truly are, deep down. One of the ways I love deep diving into getting to know myself in a deeper meaning is through personality tests and when I really took a deep dive into the Enneagram this past fall, I knew I needed to bring on an Enneagram expert to dish all the goods. And that’s why I’m SO excited to introduce Sarajane Case to the podcast today! Sarajane Case is a writer, coach and speaker based in Asheville, NC. She's the creator of the Brave Collective - a membership community for people who want to create the life of their dreams from right where they are! She's the founder of Enneagram & Coffee and host of both Brave Radio & The Enneagram & Coffee Podcast! Here are some things we discuss in today’s episode: What the enneagram is and how Sarajane got into it What makes the enneagram different from other personality tests Embracing your shadow side Using the enneagram as a tool for self awareness, deeper understanding of your partner and even bringing it into your work An overview of the 9 types How to use this tool as a way to grow and love ourselves more How different types work together Answering listener questions from our facebook community Using the enneagram in business How our types impact how we show up in the world and how we are perceived

This week we are joined by special guest RattoZatto who is here to talk to us about AIE in The Secret World Welcome! Ok, we'll be digging into The Secret World shortly, but first, let's cover this week's news... AIE News General- Kav is still looking for feedback on the new AIE website! http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/55840-new-website-feedback And, as the weather gets nicer, it is meetup season! This weekend, there are two meetups- one in NJ and one in Phoenix. If you want to plan a meetup on your own, head on over to http://www.meetup.com/Alea-Iacta-Est/ MK- WOW- The bi-annual Craft Faire is next weekend, April 25th and 26th! And AIE has a TON of events planned. Besides the craft faire itself, there is a COOP planned, fireworks, the raffle, and a lot more. Please remember to sign up for the event, so the captains can be prepared- and follow @AIE_wow on twitter for the most up to date information! Also, there are a ton of mats still needed for this event- there is a full list on the forums, but right now some big ones are Saronite bars and volatile earth for Blacksmithing, Solid stone, Mithril, thorium, cobalt and ghost iron bars for Engineering, Wool, Silk and Embersilk for First Aid, Azure pigment producing herbs for Inscription, Adamantite powder/or ore, Small lustrous pearl, Nightstone (500+), Solid stone, Mithril bars, Moss agate and/or lesser moonstone, Titanium bars for Jewelcrafting, and Thick and Rugged Leather for Leatherworking. There is still plenty of time to help, too- look for Syreyne in game to find out how you can help. (Tetsemi) EVE http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/56068-ceo-address-kuda-timberline CEO Address: Kuda Timberline First, to my corpmates, and to the wider EVE Community On April 8th, 2015, mistakes were made. For those of you who are unaware, this killmail is the unfortunate result. Kuda then made a rousing and eloquent post for BRAVE Collective on their subreddit as a caution to people: be careful when moving your stuff. Killmails are simple things, and they are a favorite of Kuda Timberline's, so much so that he advocated and spearheaded a segment on our podcast, The Kill of the Week. Killmails represent the harsh and cold reality of EVE; that with a simple misclick or a laxity in precaution: you can lose days, months, and years of effort in a heartbeat. This is what happened to my friend. I privately asked him if there was anything we can do for him, and he graciously said no. He's very clearly shaken by the whole affair, and he said in his Reddit post that he'll be taking a break from industry for a little while to focus on fun things. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/56055-ceo-statement-you-say-you-want-a-revolution Julius Caeser update Greetings Pilots of AIEU, Mistakes Were Just Made First, I had a statement written up about 30 minutes after work. I had a bunch of pictures linked to it and it was pretty awesome.
