THE EH FOUNDATION ONLINE COURSEhttps://www.emotionalhorsemanship.com/emotional-horsemanship-foundation-online-courseContinuing on the Polish guest theme from last week, my guest this week is Isabella Flemming.  Isa  is the reason I got my start with horses.  She ran the stable in Poland where I gained my beginnings as an equestrian, as a trainer and as a horseman.   Without Isabella, I would not have had access to horses at a crucial time in my life.  But not just any sort of access.  Access to horses who lived good lives, were trained and cared for well.   She is one of my mentors, my foundational teachers.  And though she doesn't work with horses anymore, her story is one I am sure many listeners will resonate with.   I brought Isa and her daughter to my farm recently, to show Isa that her kindness, her generosity, her support was not wasted.  To show her what she helped me do in my life.  It was a full circle moment for me, and I think for her too.   If you are interested in knowing the end, look at the beginning.  Here is how I got my beginning.  For more information check out www.emotionalhorsemanship.com!

In this solo episode I explore how problematic horsemanship often has nothing to do with the techniques, attitudes or desires of the trainer... but about a dead-end business structure which creates no win for anyone.  Especially the horse. I explore how important it is that we change the relationship equine service providers have to their clients and vice versa and how the future doesn't have to be a minefield where we tip-toe gingerly around everyones triggers.  But we create safe spaces where the truth can be shared normally. Thanks for joining me here and don't forget to like and subscribe to this podcast. These short solo episodes will be supported by much longer collaborative episodes.  Look forward to new episodes every week! For more information check out www.emotionalhorsemanship.com!
