In episode_026, I provide a free sample of one of the two podcasts I release every month to my patron subscribers. In this episode, I discuss how the very definition of the word success has become a highly processed concept that may still be high in calories but low and near completely deficient in mental and psychological nutritional content. The concept of success as defined by nearly everyone in society is not a construct in which the pursuit of success will help bridge understanding among people, build community and a heightened state of cooperation or be of benefit to humanity in general. In order for us to reach our creative potential and to find our life purpose we must completely reconstruct how we perceive the societal construct of "success". In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_25, I discuss the problems of our global institutional academic system that allow me to have more rational discussions with a young child and well-rounded martial artists than adults with advanced academic degrees. I discuss why children that have not yet been processed through the academic system are much more open minded than adults that have earned Bachelor and Master degrees, and why philosophical elements of the martial arts of being, knowing and doing promote critical thinking to a greater capacity than exists in general society. I also explore why sound money principles are so widely misunderstood today with even self-proclaimed sound money advocates forwarding a lot of misinformation about sound money on social media. I also discuss why basic facts like the color of the sky, the color of a polar bear's fur and the definition of gravity are still widely misunderstood in the modern world and I discuss why the inability of many in society to have disagreements with others in a civil discourse without engaging in angry ad hominem attacks is a sign of the downfall of intelligent civilization.  Finally, as I forgot to provide my financial tip of the day in this podcast, my patrons know that predicted BTC's top price to be $20,000 (it was) at the end of 2017, and that it would be halved in price to $10,000 at that point (it was). After BTC dropped to $10,000, my patrons know that I predicted BTC could be halved in price a second time to $5,000 (it was, and actually fell below this mark to $3,000). With BTC at about $3,750 a couple of weeks ago, there is a far better chance, if it hits $4,000, that it will drop to $1,000 before it will rise back to $10,000 in price, in my opinion. In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_23, titled, “Are Our Lives Driven By Irrational Thoughts, Irrational Behavior and Irrational Decisions?” I discuss how we are being increasingly driven towards conflict by those in power that have deceived us into accepting feelings and opinions as indisputable facts at alarmingly high rates. Carl Sagan said, “We can judge our progress by the courage of our questions and the depth of our answers , our willingness to embrace what is true rather than what feels good.” What is truly amazing is that he said this back in 1995, and he didn’t even foresee the influence of social media and the consequent mob mentality on our beliefs back then. Had he foreseen the widespread use of facebook, instagram, and twitter upon our beliefs, he may have lost all hope for humanity. In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_22, titled, “Why We Need to Support Small Businesses,” I discuss the importance of supporting small businesses over corporate giants and international conglomerates not only as it improves our mental, spiritual and physical health, but also as it relates to abiding by a moral code of honor and as it relates to helping support those trying to change the world for the better. Now if small businesses disappear, and we only have Amazon and Apple and Starbucks left to consume from with many consumers already complaining that these businesses do not have their best interest at heart and often exploit their employees as well as consumers, think of how much worse this situation will get when we do not have the option of conducting businesses with small businesses. When most small businesses have been crushed, we will experience worse customer service and more employee exploitation because if big conglomerates are able to successfully eradicate their competition, they will be able to treat us however they want and we will have no longer have any voice with our options gone. This is why it is so critical to start supporting small businesses in your community right now. To hear the full body of this debate, please listen to the full podcast. How to Find a Life of Purpose | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_021

I’ve often heard people describe the meaning of life as two purposes that reside at the opposite ends of the ideological spectrum. Many people have said that the meaning of life is struggle, including Jordan Peterson, someone with one of the largest followings on YouTube at the current time. I have heard other people state that the meaning of life is to find happiness. In my opinion, the meaning of life is neither of these choices. The meaning of life is to find a life of meaning. This process will involve both periods of happiness and struggle, but the finding a purpose to life brings a greater feeling of serenity to your times of happiness and makes your times of struggle more bearable. In the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_021, I discuss the various ways we can all find purpose in our life. One way to find purpose is to form a deep sense of community with others and then work towards achieving common goals. But to form a community with others that can give one’s life a strong sensse of purpose, one must utilize critical thinking and pursue self-education.   As well we must have a society of ethical people if we are to encourage people to find a live of purpose within society instead of going off grid as many people that want to live ethical lives have done because they feel it is impossible to live an ethical life within society. In the last podcast I spoke about how immorality and a lack of ethics is being praised, promoted and embraced within society at large, a disturbing trend of modern day life today. In this podcast, I also address how we can perform our civic duty to reverse this trend and create more ethical societies that provide a life of dignity for its members. So join me in this week’s tao of skwealthacademy podcast for a fascinating discussion about finding meaning in our lives.

The Things the Happiest Societies Would Find Abnormal About Modern Life | the tao of skwealthacademy, episode_020

In today’s The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast, Episode_20, titled, “The Things the Happiest Societies Would Find Abnormal About Modern Life,” I discuss why we have migrated away from many of the elements of hunter-gatherer societies that used to bring humanity great levels of sustainable happiness and why many of us have chosen a lifestyle with almost no sense of community and a heightened sense of isolation from our neighbors in overcrowded urban settings. Forgive the opening of the podcast that states this is Episode_018, as that is an error. This is Episode_020. This podcast could also be titled, “How a return to hunter gatherer society rules would solve modern society’s overfed, malnourished, lack of exercise, sleep deprived, low self-esteem, high anxiety and depressed, inequitable wealth, loneliness, and unhappiness problems.” I believe that this is one of the most important podcasts I have produced in the past year, and as such, it is also one of the longest, clocking in at well over an hour long, so grab a tall cup of coffee and settle in. Furthermore, for all of my friends that have young children, I made this podcast for you as well, as in modern society, we have migrated away from many of the child-rearing practices of hunter-gatherer societies that provided a sense of security and mental well-being to infants. I believe that the goals of social conditioning and production of an obedient labor force that go hand and hand with compulsory schooling today is largely responsible for the loss of community that is directly correlated to happiness among human beings today, as the stronger our acquiescence to authoritative State powers becomes, the greater our loss of community grows. However, this is a topic likely best suited for a series of podcasts about the necessity for the complete overhaul of the schooling system, and I will address this topic in much more detail in future The Tao of SKWealthAcademy podcasts, so please subscribe to our podcast if interested in this topic as well.   Within the body of this audio podcast, I use examples of both American Indian societies in pre-colonial and colonial America as well as examples of contemporary hunter-gatherer societies to explore the rules and characteristics of their societies that once led a French colonialist living in the new America to conclude, “there must be in their social bond something singularly captivating and far superior to anything to be boasted among us.” It is not necessary for any of us to give up the qualities that existed in their social structure that create lasting and sustainable happiness, and even for those of us that live in urbanized environments, we can still adequately re-create many of these qualities in our lives if we so desire. With that said, I don’t want this article to merely restate everything I discuss in the below podcast, so I will just provide a brief taste of the podcast, and for the sake of avoiding redundancy, allow any one interested in listening to a more in-depth discussion of this topic to merely listen to the audio podcast in full.   Indians ran their communities more like a constitutional republic than American colonial settlers ever did, even after the piece of paper was drafted that made America a constitutional republic. Throughout America’s history, practice never quite lived up to the law of being a constitutional republic. American Indian tribes were much more egalitarian in the distribution of power and authority than any American colony, although tribes had a chief and medicine man who were men in elevated positions of power within their patriarchal society. Still, women were not without power in their tribes. Within the societal hierarchy of most American Indian tribes, women held some type of authoritative power that served as a check on the male leadership of that tribe. For example, in the Iroquis nation, only women could nominate men for positions of leadership and even positions of speaking in...

I discuss the myths about martial arts embraced by non martial-artists that, for example, people use martial arts to bully others, which is against the entire creed and ethos of martial arts. Instead I return to the principles that constitute the essence of martial arts – discipline, respect, honor, courage, and humility - and how these principles have helped me cope and conquer periods of struggle throughout my life. Furthermore, I explain my theory about why I believe that very parent with a young child should enroll their child in a marital arts class because of the invaluable life lessons that will be instilled in a child at a young age from martial arts training, including helping to mold an ethical, moral and courageous young adult. Russia v. the United States: Facts v. Propaganda | the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_018

Play Episode Listen Later Nov 1, 2018 49:50

In today’s the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_018, I discuss why all wars are bankers’ wars and why even the conflict between the US and Russia in Syria is a banker war, as I believe that it is a war ultimately to control the flow of natural gas through Syria, either from Russia to Europe or from the Middle East to Europe. Consequently, episode_018 is titled, “Russia v. the United States: Facts v. Propaganda. If the US successfully ousts the current Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, they can control the flow of energy resources from the Middle East to Europe and dictate that oil and natural gas from the Middle East is sold and bought in US dollars. If Russia succeeds in rebuffing the US attempt to overthrow Assad, then Russia would control the flow of natural gas through Syria and dictate that these resources could be sold in their sovereign ruble currency, which would serve as a huge blow against the continued subjugation of the entire world economy to US dollar supremacy.   Although this reason, which I believe to be one of the primary reasons behind the Syrian conflict is little discussed in the Western mainstream media, it comes as no surprise that various Arab and Middle Eastern publications have all dismissed such theories as “conspiracy theories”, claiming that there is zero evidence to corroborate these theories. As I have always been someone that promotes evidence above all, I wondered if these assertions were correct, so I investigated them further and did not merely dismiss them as propaganda just because the assertions fit into a narrative that serves nations like Qatar and Saudi Arabia and not my beliefs about the conflict. I wanted to discover, however, if these assertions of conspiracy theories were indeed massive propaganda as well.   So let’s look at some facts that are indisputable first and draw conclusions from these facts. Number one, more than half of all of Russia’s national revenues comes from oil and natural gas sales. Fact. Bankers manipulate prices of oil, natural gas, and other commodities through global futures markets. Fact. If bankers force prices of oil and natural gas lower, this will severely hurt the Russian economy. Fact. The US government colludes with bankers to take down oil and natural gas prices to hurt the Russian economy. Theory. In this case, we have a bunch of facts and then one theory that can’t be proven as a fact but then will often be dismissed as a conspiracy theory just because there is no hard evidence to support the theory by those that want to shape a certain narrative in the global media. It is just as ridiculous to label this theory as a conspiracy theory solely because there is no evidence to support it as it would be to call the Big Bang Theory about the formation of the universe a conspiracy theory just because there is also a lack of concrete evidence to support this theory as well.   Rather the theories should be more accurately described as unknowns and not conspiracy theory from someone capable of critical thought. The same applies to the pipeline theories when I investigated them as well. It is a fact that multiple pipelines for natural gas and oil have been proposed that would cut through Syria and that the different proposed pipelines would provide control of Europe’s energy supplies to different factions – one to Russia, and the other to Middle Eastern nations. It is also a fact that the control of these pipelines would have massive consequences upon the US dollar depending upon which pipeline was eventually built and that if Russia wins out, then it can vastly decrease the dependence of its economy upon the US dollar. It is also a fact that the US government has funded and armed ISIL terrorists within Syria to overthrow Assad. But this is where the facts stop and the rest becomes theory. The conclusions for why the US wants to overthrow Assad are theory. However it is a fact that in July 2011, the governments of Syria,

In today’s "the tao of skwealthacademy podcast, episode_17 | Fight Club, Reinterpreted for 2018”, I discuss why the most iconic phrases from the seminal 1999 film, Fight Club, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, are still not only relevant nearly two decades later, but even more relevant in 2018 due to how the introduction of the iPhone in 2007 and the subsequent introduction of facebook, twitter, snapchat and instagram in following years have changed the way we interact with one another. I will discuss the iconic quotes below, and the reasons why these quotes possess a heightened sense of relevance in today’s world which has been driven to record levels of anxiety, depression, suicide and mental disorders by virtual worlds of disconnectedness. More importantly, I will discuss in today’s skwealthacademy podcast, solutions to combat smartphone addictions and how we can return to forming a sense of community with those that live in our neighborhoods. Quotes from Fight Club’s Tyler Durden “The things you own end up owning you.” “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.” “If you don’t know what you want, you end up with a lot you don’t.” “Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don’t need.” “We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place, no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives.” “We buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like.” I truly believe that society’s increased devotion to social media and smartphone interactions as an increasing percentage of daily life has unfortunately but deliberately elevated the level of superficiality in our lives and stripped away a sense of purpose and community from the lives of both young and old. Designers of social media have implemented in their distribution platforms psychological addiction to their apps as one of their primary goals. To combat these insidious directives, I discuss rules we can implement in our lives to ensure that we rule our smartphones and that our smartphones do not rule us. Perception Rules Everything Around Us | The Tao of SKWealthAcademy Podcast_Episode16

To begin, I apologize for the audio quality of this episode, but I have fixed the audio problem in the next episode. In Episode 16, I discuss how disconnected we have become from reality and how perception has come to rule everything around us. I cover the fascinating topics of the billionaire Malaysian fraudster Jho Low, who allegedly conned everyone from filmmaker Martin Scorcese, Australian model Miranda Kerr , White House officials, Goldman Sachs bankers, and even the Malaysian prime minister by gaining access to Malaysia’s sovereign wealth funds and misappropriating billions of dollars for personal use. Currently Low is suspected to be hiding out in mainland China, whith Chinese officials reluctant to extradite him back to Malaysia because of Low’s close relationships to very high level Chinese officials that could expose the Chinese officials to scandal should Low be extradited back to Malaysia and be forced to testify in court. In any event, many have claimed, including the author of the Jho Low’s biography, Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, Hollywood and the World, that Jho Low, who was the son of a millionaire, was only able to trick people into believing he was a billionaire by living a lavish lifestyle funded by a US$5B theft from the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund after crafting a close relationship with the Malaysian Prime Minister. During this ride of well-documented public excess, Low gifted $9M worth of jewels to Australian model Miranda Kerr, who eventually was forced to return her ill-gotten trove of jewels, At one point, Jho Low spent $700M he had funneled from the 1MDB sovereign Malaysian wealth fund into one of his own companies in just 8 months, buying a hotel in Los Angeles and the rest on a lavish lifestyle of alcohol, gambling, private jets and yachts, and paying celebrities to hang out with him. Low eventually diverted billions more to his own accounts which he spent on producing The Wolf of Wall Street and buying real estate, art work, hedge funds and luxury apartments. Jho Low’s spending spree seems to have been enabled by his close association to rich and powerful people around the world forged during his time at Wharton business school that included members of Middle Eastern royalty. It’s always been odd to me why friendships with rich and powerful people automatically grant legitimacy to someone in the eyes of the public as if an association with a billionaire means that someone has integrity and honesty. In any event, Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos used the same modus operandus as Jho Low to con investors out of $700M in convincing investors she had developed a ground breaking technology that could use droplets of blood to supply full bloodwork and labwork to diagnose medical conditions. As it turned out, her entire company was fraudulent but Holmes was able to get many people to blindly trust her simply based upon her close friendship with Paypal founder and one of the original investors in Facebook, billionaire Peter Thiel. Lastly, I discuss how perception is much more important than reality in keeping bubbles in stock markets, real estate markets and bond markets inflated and that is why these bubbles will crash particularly savagely when they deflate, as they have no fundamental foundation to keep them afloat. Simply eliminating  or vastly reducing this aspect from our lives is the easiest way to free up time so that we may reach our life potential and maximize our happiness. As odd as this sounds, sustainable happiness in life requires discipline to achieve. The most time and energy wasting task is not only a time waster, but it also stunts our intellectual growth, our creative development, and our sense of community with others, an aspect of life that is essential to avoid depression. So eliminating this one huge time waster not only will increase our productivity, but it will also massively improve our happiness and life while eliminating large portions of anxiety and depression. I cover (1) the distinctions between schooling and education, (2) the reasons why no one should ever become a parent without these three elements, and (3) the reasons why these 3 elements alone are not enough to produce a memorable life full of a state of flow and harmony, but require a deeply understood and conceived moral framework to accompany them. Part 2 of of a multi-part series of the very real and serious potential for bitcoin to be a massive Central Banking/ government Trojan Horse to convince the entire world to embrace further currency enslavement through a 100% trackable cryptocurrency and to usher in a cashless, 100% digital currency world, please refer to the podcast episode download and access links below. Though I state in Part 1 that I believe bitcoin is a currency, as of the end of 2017/ start of 2018, it is much too volatile to even act as a currency, because price stability is necessary for any long-term currency. Consequently, at this stage, it is a purely speculative asset and cannot serve as a currency until price stability solidifies. Had I recorded this episode with the express purpose of producing a viral episode, I would have merely repeated my support for current blindly accepted mainstream narratives, such as the one that bitcoin is a decentralized, disruptive technology that is anti-banking. However, my focus in this series is to intelligently discuss the real problems of bitcoin's unknown origins and the many problems with the mass media narratives that have been built and disseminated to not only cover up these unknowns but also to falsely turn these unknowns into knowns. Hopefully, I will fulfill these objectives regarding this very important subject matter, as our freedom depends on recognizing the truth when it comes to digital currencies. Enjoy! Today, in the Tao of SkWealthAcademy Podcast Episode_004, I connect the dots among a mountain of seemingly disconnected events: the boycotts of the Beijing OBOR (One Belt One Road) conference last May, the current price suppression of gold and silver, the current price mania in Bitcoin, the purging of the Royal House of Saud in Saudi Arabia, the shifting BRICS alliance where Saudi Arabia may become the new “S” and Iran may become the new “I”, the introduction of petroyuan and petroruble futures, and tentative new economic alliances between historical enemies like Saudi Arabia and Iran and its consequent impact upon current Middle Eastern wars in Syria and Yemen. Finally, I tie everything together regarding why these events are setting up gold and silver for a very bullish 2018 and a simultaneous fall in US stock markets, despite a current precious metals correction that has likely not yet seen its bottom and a current rise in US stock markets that has lasted all of 2017. Combined with the desire of Google's Eric Schmidt to only return one "correct" answer to every question (which is not OUR answer but THEIR answer they want all of us to blindly obey and believe), the attempt to fan the fires on every single issue has had the desired effect of dividing and conquering us, keeping us blind to reality and to solutions, and keeping us instead, focused on conflict. If you listen to this podcast and agree, please pass it on to others so we can stop the divide and conquer policies of those that head institutions like Google, YouTube, and mass media, and instead turn the tide of humanity away from these falsely manufactured conflicts and towards harmony and cooperation.
