How can you take more breaks so that you don't have so many breakdowns? How do you make it all work? There's No People Like Show People hasn't fallen off the face of the earth. We're still here.     “When I think of home I think of a place where there's love overflowing.” Recently I've been listening to The Wiz and really thinking about the concept of home. And sometimes as artists when everywhere is home, no where is home and vice versa, when no where is home, everywhere is home. But at the end of the day I've always considered home to be less of a physical place and more about the community of people. The theatre community will always be home.     Awhile ago I had an idea to record an episode called: Struggling. And it was just going to be a solo episode talking about all the things that I'm currently struggling with. I chatted about this idea with one of my best friends and he said that he'd love to come back on the podcast, talk about all of the things that he's currently struggling with and we should change the title to: STRUGGLE BUS. Previously featured on Episode 22 & Episode 100, Michael Enright is here today and we are laying it all out on the table. It's very easy to hide behind social media and pretend that your life is perfect under the guise of an Instagram filter. In this episode, we don't. We talk about struggles with depression, anxiety, money, relationships, eating disorders, time management, burnout, jealousy, loneliness, self-care, parenting…the list goes on and on and on. At the end of the day, life is hard. Being an artist is hard. Trying to figure out what's next is hard. And you shouldn't have to go through it alone. This podcast is truly a collaborative art form and I couldn't do it without my very dear friend and honestly one of the absolute best humans on the planet: Zach Smith. In this episode we both look back on the past two years and reflect. SO much has changed. Shows. Moving. College. New job opportunities. New relationships. With 60 Episodes recorded in the first year and another 55 recorded in the second, we are very close to approaching 50,000 downloads. And we have some very exciting news!!! We are currently working on a brand new podcast all about the transformative journey called motherhood. This is the shit that no one tells you.
