Is there dishonor in this or is there glory in knowing that you completed the journey? The bible tells us to run the race with patience. In our story, the disciples use a story to describe the race and the events leading to a race. They explain that we should lay aside all of the weights that weigh us down. Ensuring that you are focused on the prize at the end, which is eternal, rather than temporal will help you remain focused. Will the disciples remain focused or will their focus become fuzzy?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series or listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the early church's struggles. Have you ever had a person that thought they could do what you could do and do it better? These type of people firmly believe that they can do everything that others can do because of their own personal interest or pride. In our story, there are many people that believe that they can cast out devils like Paul in Jesus Christ’s name but it doesn’t work out so well for them. Additionally, there is dissention between the disciples whether or not they are of Paul, John the Baptist or others. Paul comes in and corrects this type of behavior with the scriptures. The only thing that will help the followers of Christ is The Prayer that guides us to a place that we will be safe. Will the disciples seek a resolution for their power struggle or will the devil get the victory and destroy the church?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about how Apostle Paul took the gospel to the gentiles. What does the gospel bring to thirsty souls? It brings good news from afar. It’s like a cool water from a clean cistern. In our story, Apostle Paul begins to travel over the country side and preach the gospel to the gentiles. Many regions do not want him there because he has developed a reputation of converting people and changing people. In our lives, do we have the reputation of helping people or is it one of neglecting people. Paul’s message of Jesus Christ is one of service and dedication. He says I will serve the Lord come what may. Even though he has to battle authorities he serves God. What will happen when he honors God with his life?
Sumer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about Paul & Silas in Philippi. Have you ever been wrongly accused of something bad when all you desired to do good? Paul and Silas travel to Philippi and meet a young girl that is possessed with an evil spirit and tells fortunes but after many days Paul casts out the evil spirits. Her ruler’s loose money due to her resent conversion and Paul and Silas are cast into jail. While in jail their testimony for The Lord does not go unnoticed. They pray, praise and sing unto God. While doing so, there is a might earthquake and the jailer assumes that all prisoners escape and is about kill himself when he hears Paul. Through this act of kindness, he and his house and possibly others trust Christ as savior. What will the authorities do in the midst of incident?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the struggles of Apostle Paul. Has someone ever intended harm to come to you by their hands but it didn’t work out as they thought? In our story Apostle Paul is stoned when he preaches. The people are so riled up that they are relentless in their swift desire to execute him. In our lives, sometimes God allows things to happen that we wouldn’t necessarily seek. Either way, God is still good wheter or not it goes our way. What will the people do when they see Paul’s body?
Have you ever had some say things about you that was not true? How did the people respond to these accusations? Did they know your character well enough to disprove these accusations or did they believe them as a part of scandel? Apostle Paul begins to talk to Apollos about the gospel of Jesus Christ and he believes only after God blinds a false prophet. Then Paul and Barnabas preach to more gentiles after the Jews reject Jesus. Many times people reject what they don’t understand or what they fear. Because the gospel of Jesus is so radical and so different from the traditions of the law, the people don’t know what to believe. However, the apostles do have one alley. The Holy Spirit. Will Apostle Paul and his young friend win the hearts of the people.
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the Disciples. If a Christian is jailed for preaching the gospel, does that make him/her a career criminal? In our story, Peter is jailed for preaching God’s glory but along comes an angel and allows Peter to escape. Later King Herod exhausts himself as a God and is stricken dead right before the people. Apostle Paul comes before Apollos and shares the gospel with him. Everyone seems to be seeking an answer, that answer is Jesus Christ. What will happen when Paul shares the gospel of Jesus Christ and will the devil attack Paul?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the life of Apostle Paul. Have you ever heard of the story of the boy that cried wolf? When we display one type of behavior and seek to change that behavior to something else, it will be difficult for others to accept that we have changed. In our story, Saul is currently know as Saul the persecutor which frightens some of the new believers. Peter then comes to the aid of a Godly woman named Dorcas and raises her from the dead. Then Peter has an encounter with Cornelius, the Captain of the Guard of the Italian Band. As he prays daily and studies the scriptures God calls out for him. Then he is commanded to send for Peter. Peter fights internal struggles whether or not to goto “unclean” people but Jesus gives him advice in a very peculiar way. All of these stories have one thing in common; they all love the Lord and seek to totally praise God. Will God reveal His plan to all mentioned today?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. W hope that you learn of the conversion of Saul. Have you ever regretted something that you had done? I think that we all, from time to time, regret things that we do. In our story, Saul begins to show remorse for his part in persecuting the church and putting to death all those Christians. He is often plagued by the positive testimonies of all those that he has put to death. He is on his way to Damascus and on the way there he is struck by a bright light and encounter Jesus Christ right there on the Damascus road. He is blind and now depends on the very people that he tends to persecute for help and nourishment. He then begins to preach Jesus Christ as the scales fall from his eyes. Once he was blind, but now he sees. What will happen to Saul as he deals with this new Christian faith that he persecuted.
Simmer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the ministry of Phillip. Have you ever had someone come after you with the intent of seeking to hurt you? In our story, Saul increases his exploits to arrest and persecute Christians. He continues to persecute the church, which forces them to go to the furthermost parts of the earth. Phillip, travels to Samaria to spread the gospel. He begins a mighty work there and God blesses his work. However, there are people that attempt to exalt themselves to win the respect of people. Frauds like Simon try to win the approval of people by trying to fake God’s power. However, when the people see & hear Philip say that he is willing to die for the cause of Jesus, they believe on Jesus. Will this deceiver try to win people and challenge Phillip?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the death of Steven and the rise Saul. Times are beginning to be difficult for the disciples. Peter and John are arrested and secured in jail until an angel of The Lord releases them and they resume their preaching at the temple. We also see that the disciples begin to appoint members to the office of deacon to help with church ministration. The religious authorities of the day quickly arrest one of the newest deacons, Steven, and place him on trial for his life. This trial is moderated by an adversarial foe of the disciples. His name is Saul of Tarsus. He is a Pharisee and hates the teaching of Jesus Christ. During this whole trial Steven projected Heavenly grace and poise. At his stoning Steven saw Jesus stand up before he died. Steven cried “I see Jesus” and he begged God to not lay this sin to their charge before he died. What will happen, now after this death of a follower of Jesus? Will this move the disciples to stop sharing their faith and give up?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the Acts of the Apostles. ! What is the measure of a man? Is it the way he stands? Is it the way that he speaks or is it the money that he spends? The measure of a man is the way that he walks with God and the values he posses. In our story, we see that the Apostles Peter & John have been threatened and arrested by the temple priests for preaching Jesus. They maintain incredible bearing as they speak under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Additionally, we hear the story of Ananias & Sapphira conspire together to lie to God. Unfortunately, the consequence of their deception was instant death. What is the measure of a man? It’s how he handles himself in times of adversity in God’s power. Will the Apostles develop those values that make a man?

Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of al ages. We hope that you learn about the disciples' earthly ministry and Pentecost. What happened during Pentecost? Who was there and what did the disciples, now Apostles do during this time? In our story, the Apostles partake in a great showing of the power of God after they all have met the Holy Spirit in the upper room. When most people think about Pentecost, they think about revival. It has been said that revival will not be successful unless it begins with self first. The disciples could not share God with the world unless they have met Him for themselves. Pentecost was a massive preaching service where everyone heard the story of Jesus in his or her own language. When man can hear God clearly in a way that they can clearly interpret and understand, the Holy Spirit can prick at the heart. When God touches the heart, this is the foundation of revival. Will the people all understand God in their own language?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the earthly ministry of the disciples. How To Raise Your Children According To The Bible (Part 4) Psalm 103:1-18 "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them." There are many different things that parents must understand before they attempt to embark into the realm of parentage. I will attempt to show things that are proven successes and things that are failures. Join us as we address How To Raise Your Children According To The Bible. IV. Express Affection So in my dealings with my own children and the time I spend with other parents' children I find that the majority of children feel that their parents don't care about them. How is this so? It's almost like the parents are afraid to show anything but sternness and strong emotions to their children. Sometimes they can go the other way and become too loose with the children; which we spoke about in part three of our devotional series.
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the disciples after the resurrection. We see Jesus! Yelled the disciples, save one. The Apostle Thomas, whom we all know as doubting Thomas, said I will not believe until I see the prints of the nails in His hands the spear mark in His side. Jesus assured Him that it was Him and to handle the tangible evidence. Now armed with this new information, the disciples can go and teach the world about Jesus Christ and spread Calvary’s Cry to the masses. The message of redemption through slain and resurrected God as man to save mankind from their own sin and restore men to God. Friend I hope that have trusted in our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today is the day of salvation; don’t put off tomorrow what can be done today. All have an invitation to Calvary, don’t ignore this call RSVP with your hearts and minds. Just like the disciples had a decision to make, so do you. Will the disciples reach people with this news? Will they except it?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the resurrection of Jesus Christ! He’s Alive, He’s Alive! Jesus was in a borrowed and barely used tomb. Death could not hold Him, a tomb could not keep Him, satan could not defeat Him, the soldiers could not kill Him, the stone had to roll away and the religious leaders could not deny Him. Jesus rises from the dead and a story is fabricated to cover up the truth that He has risen but it is just a story. The disciples soon discover that Jesus is alive and they are amazed. What will they do? What will the religious leaders do? What is Jesus Christ’s plan now?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn the events that lead to the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Where you there when they crucified my Lord? Where you there when they laid Him in the tomb? Jesus Christ is dead! What will humanity do? The priests are scared, the disciples are sad and the Romans are skeptical. Was He the Son of God? What will we do? Asked the disciples. We will bury in Him in a new tomb. The devil laughed in victory as Jesus died on the cross. Does this mean that this world belongs to him now? Is he the ruler and supreme king of this world? Is humanity forever lost? Was it as a lie or is there still hope?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the series of events that led to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. “Crucify Him, Crucify Him”. Said the mob. “Jesus Christ is guilty of blasphemy and is worthy of death.” Jesus Christ stands there nearly at the end of human strength and uttered not a word. This is recorded in Isaiah 53:7 “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” Jesus was guilty of being God and helping other see God in flesh and humanity lied on Him with the intent to kill Him. Is this how we treat the creator? Did He deserve this? What will become of Jesus?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn of the betrayal and sentencing of Jesus. Have you ever had troubles so great that your soul fainted? In our story, Jesus is arrested by the religious leaders, betrayed by His follower, deserted by His closest disciples and falsely accused by many of the ones that seen His miracles. Now He faces the high priest and a possible meeting with the Roman authorities. If it goes this route then Jesus will face certain death. Some of the disciples remain behind to see what will happen to Jesus while others flee. These same disciples are seen getting cozy by the fire of the very ones that cursed and denied Jesus. Peter denies Jesus three times and reminded of this by the roster. Even though all of this has transpired and everyone has forsaken Him, Thou, O Lord, Art A Shield Unto Me & The Lifter Of My Hands! Only Jesus can give sweet peace in the face of death and terrible defeat. What will happen to our Lord Jesus Christ during this time?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn of the events of the Passion Week. What would you do if your best friend was kidnapped and taken away from you? Would you go after him or would you run? This is a tough question to answer but it is something to ponder. In our story, Judas for 30 pieces of silver has betrayed Jesus and now he leads them to the master. Jesus struggles to deal with His future fate but submits to the Father’s will despite His own desire. Upon His arrest, Peter cuts off the ear of one of the guards and Jesus restores it. The disciples all scatter and Jesus is left alone to face His accusers. All one can do is think about the Sacred Head Now Wounded by the authorities that He came to save. Today, man still hates Jesus Christ and seeks to destroy Him but God is eternal and can’t be destroyed. Will Jesus break free and run away or will He stay and accomplish His divine mission?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the passion of The Christ. How deep is the Father’s love for us? Does it go beyond the eternal realm into the mortal? Does it transcend time and space? Does it endure the betrayal of a close friend? Does it endure a future of hatred and scorn? How deep is the Father’s love for us? In our story Jesus begins to share with the disciples the deepness of His Father’s Love by sharing a last mean before His own cruel death on the cross. Does He have it all wrong or will the people turn their hearts and minds back to Him.
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about Jesus Christ's knowledge of the scriptures and His desire to educate the disciples of the future. Do you believe that Jesus is eternal? This means that Jesus Christ had neither beginning nor an end. This is why we can eternal life through Him. Only an eternal God can grant His mortal creations eternal life. In our story, the doubters try to tempt an eternal God with temporal questions of which He confounds them. The disciples ask Him about the future and He gives them a glimpse into glory. Jesus reminds the disciples that life goes on even if He will not be with them. We all should remember that Jesus may not be with us today physically but we have the comforter that guides us and leads us. Will the disciples and others except this truth or will they write it off as a random though?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the triumphal entry of Jesus into the Holy City. Hosanna! Hosanna! God the Creator is come! Bow the knee and worship the King. Hallelujah Praise The Lamb! Jesus makes His triumphal entry into the holy city! Do you think that people are happy about this? The answer is no! They actually try to stop Him but something happens. When we see Jesus, as He is, the Great I Am, we see ourselves as insignificant and powerless. God is worth of our praise and He is a good God even when we aren’t a obedient people. Hallelujah, Praise the Lamb. Will the people accept Jesus as the Messiah?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the life of Zaccheus & Jesus. What would you do in order to get to Jesus? Would you climb a tree in order to see? Would you restore all the wrong that you have done? Sometimes people want to have a close relationship with Jesus but they aren’t willing to do what is necessary in order for it to occur. In our story, Zaccheus begins to adopt a life of honesty and righteousness but he lack one thing; a meeting with Jesus. As hard as he tried, there was still something missing in his life and a void that needed to be filled. How about you? Are you trying to do good or turn over a new leaf but you find that there is something missing and a void that needs to be filled? Only Jesus can fill the void in your soul. Will Zaccheus meet Jesus? Where will he meet Jesus?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you see the human side of Jesus Christ. Do you recall the bible account of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead? Jesus was on His way to see this family but Lazarus dies and is buried for over 3 days. Mary, Lazarus’ sister is terribly grief stricken but tells Jesus that if He had been there that none of this would have happened. The bible tells us that Jesus wept and immediately after the Savior is moved action occurred. We do this even today. When bad things occur often times we say things like: what if, or why couldn’t or even why would God allow this. Sometimes God has other things in mind for humanity than just making you happy. When all of the people saw this miracle of life after death, they believed on Jesus without doubt. However, I wonder what Lazarus would say if he were to testify. Would he remember what happened or would not be able to recall the events.
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about Jesus healing the unclean men. Do you remember meeting someone for the first time and establishing a lasting relationship? This is how most people begin new relationships and maintain them but you must meet this new person first before a relationship can be established. In our story, Jesus begins to teach about the Kingdom of Heaven through the parables of the great feast and the prodigal son. He later encounters ten lepers and cleanses them of their leprosy. These leprous men were without hope and in a realm of sadness until Jesus came. When Jesus comes, you will beam the Light of God from your face and make other say “You Must Have Met Him.” Will these ten lepers come back and praise God for what He has done or will they forget Him?
Summer Series Podcast 2016 This is a series for listeners of all ages. We hope that you learn about the mission of the disciples. What is expected of a Christian? Is it kindness, grace, love, patience or joy? In our story Jesus begins to develop the disciples into ordained ministers of the gospel. They went out into the world and began to teach about the wonderful love of Christ. We also see the kindness of a Samaritan to the need of a stranger. The hallmark of Christianity is to be kind and treat others better than you would treat yourself. When we reach out and touch this world we see them respond. How can we reach a world we never touch? Simply put, we can’t! In order to reach this world we have to leave our padded pews of comfort and go just like Jesus sent out the seventy. Will these men return back to the master empty handed?
