We welcome back Valerie Wilhelm to give us a recent update on her life. We give a shirt recap on how traumatic and tragic her life had been and how far she has come. After the suicide of her husband she picked up the pieces and is an incredible single Mom to her 4 children who are thriving. She tells us some absolutely SHOCKING developments of how she has gotten taken advantage of, of how the system was used against her. while she was at her lowest. She shares a heartbreaking video of her going "ANGER ROOM" on her deceased husbands car that is infested with rats. Valerie has given power of attorney to her parents because she can no longer handle all the stress of probate court etc. Valerie tells us that she looked at her husbands death scene photos. She had to hire a Private Investigator to get pictures and information from the Irving Police Department in Texas, but was told to stop digging. She found very, very disturbing evidence and says that the death scene was manipulated. She then discovered that her late husband had a life insurance policy that was supposed to pay her and her children a lot of money. She went to a fraud detective and created a paper trail. She has the smoking gun, knows who pulled the trigger and where the bullet landed. She is determined to get to the truth.Somebody else filed for Jeff's life insurance which is insurance fraud. The CFO of Valerie's late husbands company was found dead 5 days after she filed a lawsuit. When there is a lot of money there is always greed. On a positive note in Valerie's life she has started dating a widower that she has known for 9 years and they are in a sweet, new relationship and madly in love. We are so happy to say that there is life after tragedy. Valerie Wilhelm is back to update everyone how she is doing while working through the grief of her husband’s suicide and trying to get back in the dating world. We encourage everyone to listen to Valerie’s original episodes, 6, 7, 8 and 9 where she shares her gripping story of being in an abusive volatile relationship with a tragic ending.Today she is very emotional because she misses the good times that she had with Jeff that produced 4 beautiful children and her dream of the life behind the white picket fence. She still believes that he was her soulmate, despite how ugly things got and is afraid she will not meet anyone else. She feels she was back in the dating world way too soon and she was not growing and couldn’t handle things. She felt as if she were suffocating in her new relationship and recognized some important red flags, that made her end it. She is sad about the breakup but feels it is better this way.Her 4 children were not ready for her to be in a relationship either. They need all of her as they are all still dealing with and trying to heal from all the trauma they experienced. Valerie absolutely floors us as she describes her vision to build an empire. She has been working on starting a non profit organization called “She wears the Heels”, which is for self care for women coming out of abuse. She is planning to have a fun run or walk for the organization and wants both men and women to run or walk in heels and there will be red flags checkpoints throughout the walk so everyone can be aware and learn all the signs. She has also created a cleaning service called “Bless This Mess” and is an Organizational Consultant and she will gutter your clutter. We pay tribute to the owner of the Anger Room who got killed by her abusive ex boyfriend. She was an organ donor and saved 7 lives. Valerie tells a story where she experienced an angel and the devil within a couple of hours.

Key Takeaways: [0:22] Today’s episode of Franchise Euphoria is brought to you by The Franchise 5 package. Head over to franchiseeuphoria.com/franchise5 to learn more! [1:01] The focus of today’s episode is to highlight another unique and interesting franchise concept that brings an interesting perspective to the realm of franchising. This episode is not an endorsement of any franchise concepts. [2:08] Josh will be providing some information on the Anger Room franchise system for today’s episode. The Anger Room is essentially a facility that fills rooms with breakable objects with the intention of their patrons destroying everything in the room. [3:15] Just thinking about the inception of this concept is fascinating. Somebody out there saw the need for people to have a space to release pent up angst and decided to make it a franchise system. [4:03] The most successful franchise systems are reflections of the needs and problems of the consumers and offer a solution, even in creative outlets such as Anger Room. [5:01] Before you buy into a concept like this or even creating a concept similar to it, be sure you think less about the end game and more about how valuable you will be to the market place. [5:58] In an old blog article Josh wrote in 2013 called Three Common Misconceptions about Buying a Franchise, he addressed the myth that there’s no room for creativity in franchising which couldn’t be further from the truth. [6:45] There’s nothing wrong with creating a franchise system that is creative and localized to the community it’s within. [7:18] The takeaway point for today is when you’re thinking about your or any franchise, just remember that there are a lot of unique opportunities out there. If you can match a specific need in the marketplace that is easily replicated, there is a good chance you can turn it into a franchise. Marcella, Whitley and Gabrielle discuss some negative feedback they have received on some past episodes and that they welcome constructive criticism but they will not tolerate disrespect and judgement of their guests who have been brave enough to share their stories. Then Marcella and Whitley get fired up about people judging others and they give sobering statistics about people who judge others and jealousy in general. Then we talk about holding grudges and Marcella’s anger issues. We plan on having a remote podcast and going on a field trip to the Anger Room to redirect our frustrations. We discuss liars and the book the people of the lie and how we believe that Nicolette our guest from Episodes 12 and 13 has the biggest chance with her recovery as a drug addict because she is so honest and her honesty will help her heal and help others. We talk about Marcella’s huge influence on her teen dance students and how much they love and trust her. We end the show with the 3 of us admitting we are hopeless party girls and how much fun we always have.
