Mazel morons! We kick things off by going down the rabbit hole of a Hulk Hogan-esque cereal (with creatine, naturally) into the perils of “man juice” branding, yogurt parfait math, and why dying in a vat of milk chocolate might actually be the dream. Along the way, we debate pasteurization conspiracies, brainstorm the perfect coastal wedding menu (yes, with an oyster shucking lady), and take listener speak pipes on movie-theater talkers and overpriced popcorn. Plus: Josh gets candid about audition stress with a newborn at home, Ben reveals his jealousy over not having a Carvel truck at his birthday, and we expose the CIA's very sus Starbucks policy. It's thoughtful, unhinged, and as always, a little bit NUTS. Love ya! Leave us a voicemail here!Follow us on Instagram and TikTok! Ep 225 | This week on Discover Ag, Natalie and Tara dig into the headlines shaping food safety, viral culture, and wellness misinformation — with their usual dose of snark and sincerity. First up: A Florida mom's devastating lawsuit after raw milk labeled "not for human consumption" allegedly sickened her toddler and led to miscarriage. The hosts unpack the regulatory gray areas, the role of wellness influencers, and why "it's safe until it isn't" captures the raw milk debate perfectly. Then, Arizona's viral dance crew takes center stage. These young girls from Mesa's Impact Dance company danced their way to internet fame with "Tulsa Time" and scored a dream moment on stage with Lainey Wilson. The hosts celebrate age-appropriate representation and genuine talent in a world of overly sexualized youth performance. Next, they taste-test Lady Gaga's viral wine and Diet Coke combination (spoiler: Tara's not impressed). What started as a trendy drink reveal turns into a cultural lesson about Spanish cocktail traditions and how American influencers often miss the mark on cultural context. And finally, a deep dive into GMO cheese misinformation. When a wellness influencer with 600K followers claims Pfizer is secretly putting GMOs in 90% of US cheese, the hosts break down the science behind fermentation-produced chymosin and why fear-mongering about food processes helps no one. BUT WAIT — there's more! Stick around for their disco debrief on Ballerina Farm's new brick-and-mortar store in Utah, plus sponsor shoutouts that'll have you stocking your pantry with heritage flour and farm-fresh everything. In this episode of Crazy Wisdom, Stewart Alsop talks with Paul Spencer about the intersection of AI and astrology, the balance of fate and free will, and how embodiment shapes human experience in time and space. They explore cultural shifts since 2020, the fading influence of institutions, the “patchwork age” of decentralized communities, and the contrasts between solar punk and cyberpunk visions for the future. Paul shares his perspective on America's evolving role, the symbolism of the Aquarian Age, and why philosophical, creative, and practical adaptability will be essential in the years ahead. You can connect with Paul and explore more of his work and writings at zeitvillemedia.substack.com, or find him as @ZeitvilleMedia on Twitter and You Tube.Check out this GPT we trained on the conversationTimestamps00:00 Stewart Alsop and Paul Spencer open with a discussion on AI and astrology, exploring fate versus free will and how human embodiment shapes the way we move through time and space.05:00 Paul contrasts the human timeline, marked by death, with AI's lack of finality, bringing in Brian Johnson's transhumanism and the need for biological embodiment for true AI utility.10:00 They explore how labor, trade, food, and procreation anchor human life, connecting these to the philosophical experience of space and time.15:00 Nietzsche and Bergson's ideas on life force, music, and tactile philosophy are discussed as alternatives to detached Enlightenment thinking.20:00 The conversation shifts to social media's manipulation, institutional decay after 2020, and the absence of an “all clear” moment.25:00 They reflect on the chaotic zeitgeist, nostalgia for 2021's openness, and people faking cultural cohesion.30:00 Paul uses Seinfeld as an example of shared codes, contrasting it with post-woke irony and drifting expectations.35:00 Pluto in Aquarius and astrological energies frame a shift from heaviness to a delirious cultural mood.40:00 Emotional UBI and the risks of avoiding emotional work lead into thoughts on America's patchwork future.45:00 They explore homesteading, raw milk as a cultural symbol, and the tension between consumerism and alternative visions like solar punk and cyberpunk.50:00 Paul highlights the need for cross-tribal diplomacy, the reality of the surveillance state, and the Aquarian Age's promise of decentralized solutions.Key InsightsPaul Spencer frames astrology as a way to understand the interplay of fate and free will within the embodied human experience, emphasizing that humans are unique in their awareness of time and mortality, which gives life story and meaning. He argues that AI, while useful for shifting perspectives, lacks “skin in the game” because it has no embodiment or death, and therefore cannot fully grasp or participate in the human condition unless integrated into biological or cybernetic systems. The conversation contrasts human perception of space and time, drawing from philosophers like Nietzsche and Bergson who sought to return philosophy to the body through music, dance, and tactile experiences, challenging abstract, purely cerebral approaches.Post-2020 culture is described as a “patchwork age” without a cohesive zeitgeist, where people often “fake it” through thin veneers of social codes. This shift, combined with Pluto's move into Aquarius, has replaced the heaviness of previous years with a chaotic, often giddy nihilism.America is seen as the primary arena for the patchwork age due to its pioneering, experimental spirit, with regional entrepreneurship and cultural biodiversity offering potential for renewal, even as nostalgia for past unity and imperial confidence lingers.Tensions between “solar punk” and “cyberpunk” visions highlight the need for cross-tribal diplomacy—connecting environmentalist, primitivist, and high-tech decentralist communities—because no single approach will be sufficient to navigate accelerating change. The Aquarian Age, following the Piscean Age in the procession of the equinoxes, signals a movement from centralized, hypnotic mass programming toward decentralized, engineering-focused solutions, where individuals must focus on building beauty and resilience in their own worlds rather than being consumed by “they” narratives.

Mark also shares his guide on how to source clean raw milk from your local farm. About Mark McAfeeMark McAfee founded the Raw Milk Institute (RAWMI) in 2011 to assure that farmers had a resource to assist them in producing very low risk raw milk for their consumers. Mark is passionate about “grass to glass” risk reduction management on the farm, and he believes that raw milk cannot emerge as a trusted food unless it is very low risk. What if we could have all the immune-boosting benefits of raw milk without any of the safety risks? That's the promise of today's episode.Bob Comstock is the CEO of Tamarack Biotics and inventor of a revolutionary UV pasteurization technology that just received FDA approval after 12 years of development. Unlike traditional heat pasteurization that destroys up to 70% of milk's beneficial compounds, Bob's "cold pasteurization" process preserves 93-100% of bioactive proteins while eliminating dangerous pathogens.European studies have consistently shown that children who consume raw milk are protected from developing asthma, hay fever, eczema, and food allergies – conditions that now affect nearly half of all children. But the scientific community has confirmed that heating milk destroys this protective effect. Bob's UV technology could be the key to making these health benefits safely accessible to everyone.Bob shares the fascinating origin story of how he discovered this technology while living in Singapore, the hundreds of pathogens they had to test against for FDA approval, and why a regulation from the 1970s nearly derailed the entire project. He also discusses their clinical trials showing elderly participants had 120% more antibodies after consuming UV-treated milk protein compared to traditional whey protein, and their upcoming studies on allergy prevention in children. This technology could revolutionize not just the dairy industry, but potentially help address America's chronic disease epidemic by making truly nutritious milk widely available for the first time in over 150 years.About Bob ComstockBob Comstock is the founder and CEO of Tamarack Biotics, a food‑tech company based in Fresno, California. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from UC Berkeley, Bob launched Tamarack in 2011 to pioneer healthier dairy solutions. Before starting Tamarack Biotics, he started Compass Foods, which developed the world's most water soluble food grade emulsifier. Under his leadership, Tamarack developed TruActive®, the first FDA‑accepted UV‑based milk treatment that kills pathogens while retaining enzymes, proteins, and immune‑boosting bioactives—without traditional pasteurization.Discounts Get 10% off delicious local farm-fresh food delivered to your door with my link for FarmMatch: https://farmmatch.com/jane Get 15% off high-quality Italian olive oil with code FARMTOFUTURE: https://shop.vignolifood.com/FARMTOFUTURE Get 40% the CircleDNA's Premium DNA test with code JANEZHANG: https://circledna.com/premium Connect with Jane Z. On this episode of the ReGen Brands podcast, we're joined by Joe Miller from Kalona SuperNatural — a 20-year veteran of the dairy world and a passionate advocate for organic and regenerative farming. We dig into Kalona's unique vertically integrated ecosystem (that includes 19 different businesses!), the brand's deep partnerships with family dairy farms, and all the ways regenerative is shaping their efforts from soil to shelf.   Joe shares the story of how a group of farmers took matters into their own hands when the local co-op abandoned the organic market — and why practices like low-temp pasteurization and non-homogenization are helping differentiate their “almost raw” dairy offerings.   We also discuss the challenging questions — how regenerative dairy can thrive and scale in a landscape dominated by consolidation, consumer confusion, and razor-thin margins. And Joe gives a heartfelt case for why organic and regenerative matters more than ever — to the land, to the farmer, and to the person drinking the milk.   Episode Highlights:

Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says, "I don't want to tell you what you can and cannot eat. I just want you to know what you're eating."   Today's episode is about providing solutions to help you cut out the middleman and take control so you KNOW what you're feeding your family - and can support local, small family farms along the way.   In this information-packed episode of the Nutritional Therapy & Wellness Podcast, host Jamie Belz welcomes Alexia Kulwiec, Executive Director of the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, for a solution-focused conversation on how to legally source raw milk, pasture-raised meat, and nutrient-dense whole foods directly from local farmers.   We're not just talking about what not to eat—this is your real-world roadmap to clean food access in a system that often seems stacked against us and our access to nutrient-dense foods from local farmers.   From raw cheese loopholes and herdshares to custom meat processing, cottage food laws, and buying club tips, we explore how families can cut through red tape and bring real, nutrient-dense, ethically raised, and legally protected food to the table. Whether you've been making “egg deals in gas station parking lots” or just trying to figure out how to find a trustworthy source for raw milk, this episode is both empowering and practical.   Alexia explains:   Why it's so hard to legally access raw dairy and clean meat in many states How federal and state food laws are designed to favor industrial agriculture over local farms What legal loopholes consumers and small farms are using (herdshares, custom exempt meat, cottage food laws) The truth about organic certification (and why it's not the gold standard) What you need to know about raw cheese, pastured poultry, and produce exemptions Where to start if you're ready to vote with your dollar and support regenerative food systems   You'll also hear actionable tips on:   Navigating state-specific food laws Understanding the difference between “grass-fed” and “pasture-raised” How to talk to your farmer—and what questions to ask How to legally join or form a food buying club, private membership association, or herdshare   This episode is packed with legal insight, food freedom advocacy, and practical strategies for any parent, health-seeker, or food rebel looking to build a better grocery cart—one local farm at a time.     Visit Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund Online: https://www.farmtoconsumer.org/   Join/Donate: https://members.farmtoconsumer.org/general/register_member_type.asp Sign-up for Action Alerts: https://www.farmtoconsumer.org/actionalerts/   Please give us a 5-star review, hit subscribe, and come back next week.

I'm Dr. Mark Bonta, and in today's episode, get ready to hear from one of our returning guests: Dr. Samira Jeimy, allergist, immunologist, associate professor, and the straight-talking force behind Allergies Explained.Dr. Jeimy is here to tackle her “Top 10 Propaganda Pieces” as an allergy expert—the big healthcare myths, media soundbites, and outright scams that drive her up the wall. From debunking the so-called ‘immunity debt' theory and the raw milk craze, to exposing the truth behind pricey food intolerance tests and the seductive marketing of wellness supplements, she brings a blend of humor, clinical wisdom, and no-nonsense clarity. You'll hear why “natural” doesn't always mean safe, how supplement and testing industries prey on patient anxiety, and why stories—more than science—often shape the health choices we make. Dr. Jeimy also takes us inside the real conversations she has with patients confused by allergy myths, and how she helps untangle fact from fiction, one appointment at a time.Whether you're a healthcare professional, a chronic allergy sufferer, a concerned parent, or just tired of being bamboozled in the supplement aisle, this episode brings fresh perspective, sharp debunking, and a dose of laughter to your feed. So cozy up and get ready to ditch the misinformation, as we dive into the truth behind the top allergy and immunology myths with Dr. Samira Jeimy.Episode HighlightsImmunity Debt Myth Don't believe the narrative that lack of infection "weakens" your immune system; real harm comes from infections, not their absence.Food Intolerance Tests Are Useless Expensive food intolerance tests measure exposure, not intolerance, leading to wasted money and unnecessary diet restrictions.Natural Isn't Always Safe “Natural” products (like raw milk, plant oils) aren't automatically safe—many can cause harm or severe allergic reactions.Eczema Not About Food Eliminating foods often doesn't cure eczema; the real issue is inflammation of the skin, not food allergies.Overtesting Creates False Allergies Unnecessary allergy testing leads to false positives, unhelpful labels, and dangerous food restrictions.Episode Timestamps 4:16 — Influencer Impact on Health Information 6:35 — "Storytelling's Impact in Tech and Health" 12:51 — Health Concerns or Misdirection? 16:52 — Food Desensitization and Lifestyle Changes 20:07 — Countering Misinformation on Allergies 21:46 — Dietary Restrictions and Relationship Strain 25:24 — Immune System Overreaction Dangers 27:48 — Benadryl: Canada's Sole IV Antihistamine 31:12 — Dairy, Sugar, and Skin Health 35:08 — Unreported Complementary Health Treatments 38:52 — The Limitations of Unvalidated Diagnostic Tests 42:46 — Dr. Jamie: Compassionate Healthcare AdvocateDISCLAMER >>>>>>    The Ditch Lab Coat podcast serves solely for general informational purposes and does not serve as a substitute for professional medical services such as medicine or nursing. It's chaotic, a little gross, and kind of philosophical. You know—classic Knock Knock, Hi! Takeaways: Our new Surgeon General left residency six months before finishing—and that's just the beginning. In this rich and revealing episode of the Nutritional Therapy and Wellness Podcast, host Jamie Belz welcomes the legendary Sally Fallon Morell, author of Nourishing Traditions and founding president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, for an eye-opening conversation that blends ancestral nutrition, holistic health, and spiritual alignment in today's toxic food and medical culture. Together, they unpack the roots of nutritional wisdom, challenge mainstream health narratives, and dive into controversial yet essential topics including raw milk, vaccine injury, the decline of small family farms, and why butter (not margarine) belongs on your plate. Sally also shares the spiritual significance of honoring the body as a temple, discusses the dietary crisis facing modern society, and offers practical advice to reclaim your family's health.   Critical topics include: • The difference between raw milk vs. pasteurized milk and the science behind why raw milk supports digestion, immunity, and childhood development • The impact of vaccines on child health, including SIDS, chronic illness, and Sally's perspective on medical freedom • The decline of small family farms and why local, regenerative agriculture must be preserved • Why traditional animal fats like butter, liver, and fish eggs are essential for hormonal health, fertility, and brain development • How processed foods, protein powders, and synthetic vitamins are silently damaging our population • Sally's perspective on the spiritual roots of nourishment, including Biblical insights into food, the sacredness of the body, and how nutrition aligns with God's design • The legacy of Dr. Weston A. Price and the principles behind his research on indigenous diets and generational health • Practical tips to start your real food journey, like the one-minute fix that could radically improve your family's health: making your own salad dressing   Jamie also opens up about her personal transformation from following mainstream health advice to finding healing through the Nutritional Therapy Association and Weston A. Price teachings—especially after a vaccine injury in her own family. The episode ends with a bold, hope-filled vision for the future of food, faith, and functional nutrition, including Sally's call for churches to reawaken to the importance of the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit.   Whether you're an NTP, parent, homesteader, church leader, or just someone seeking truth in a world of health confusion, this episode will inspire and empower you to live nourished, informed, and aligned—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.   Resources Mentioned: • Weston A. In this week's episode, we dive into the viral return of crash diets—from Vogue's 1970s wine-and-eggs plan to the wider culture of extreme restriction. Why are these outdated ideas resurfacing, and what do they say about the wellness world today? Raw milk is everywhere on TikTok, praised by influencers and wellness personalities. But is it really a nutritional powerhouse—or just a risky trend in disguise? We explore the facts, the fear, and the politics behind the hype. New research suggests we may have reached the peak of human intelligence. Are modern lifestyles making us less focused and less capable of deep thinking? We unpack the science and what it could mean for our future. We also take a closer look at the wholegrain debate—are they truly a health essential, or have they been overhyped? We break down the benefits, the drawbacks, and why refined grains shouldn't always be the enemy. Thousands of years ago, after domesticating cows and other ruminants, humans did something remarkable: They began to consume the milk from these animals. But living closely with animals and drinking their milk also presents risks, chief among them the increased likelihood that infections will jump from animals to people. Some of humanity's nastiest scourges, including smallpox and measles, probably originated in domesticated animals. In the 19th century, health authorities began pushing for milk to be treated by heating it; this simple practice of pasteurizing milk would come to be considered one of the great public-health triumphs of the modern era.Today, however, a small but growing number of Americans prefer to drink their milk raw. And Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump's choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, now stands at the vanguard of this movement.
