Joel Salatin is the most famous farmer in the world and today he's on the Made To Thrive Show! It was an honor. This is an episode for anyone who is thinking about taking true accountability for their nutrition and knowing that the food they eat and feed their family comes from a place without toxic chemicals and gruesome animal treatment. If there is genuinely someone I've had on the show who is bringing true hope to and changing the world, it's Joel. To book your spot for a life-changing weekend November 12 and 13 in Bela Bela with Joel contact PISA at info@pisa.africa.Joel Salatin calls himself a Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer. Others call him the most famous farmer in the world. He is the owner and has stewarded Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia, for 50 years, which is now considered the global standard in regenerative agriculture, which rejects the industrial Big Food paradigm and is proving there is another way to feed the world. Despite using no fertilizer or toxic chemicals, Polyface services more than 5,000 families , 50 restaurants, 10 retail outlets, and a farmers' market with salad bar beef, pigaerator pork, pastured poultry, and forestry products. Joel's mission is to develop emotionally, economically, environmentally enhancing agricultural enterprises and facilitate their duplication throughout the world. He has authored 15 books and travels the world spreading the word and offering the template to his success with total transparency.Join us as we explore:Why Joel believes he is on a pilgrimage to bring help to the helpless, hope to the hopeless and empower them to seek not just food independence but true freedom and self-reliance. How the promise of liberation from work and the difficulties of life has in fact led to the imprisonment of society worldwide and the exploitation and pillage of nature by Big Government, Big Food, Big Ag, Big Pharma and Big Money. What is regenerative agriculture, how it can improve farm yields by 5x, how it can change your life, your health and the future of the world.Joel's belief that nature's default mode is health and how that sets the foundation for regenerative agriculture. Why animals are a critical, irreplaceable part of regenerative farming and health ecosystems, and why animals are the solution for climate change, not the problem. How everyone can farm! Even you! It isn't just a crazy pipe dream. Joel has helped hundreds of people escape debt and an unhappy rat race life to living in purpose and feeing their communities. Why Joel's clean, health promoting food is now cheaper even than mass retailers! Support the showSUPPORT THE SHOW ON PATREON:As much as we love doing it, there are costs involved and any contribution will allow us to keep going and keep finding the best guests in the world to share their health expertise with you.
