Today, we're diving into what I call the quiet pivot. The tender, disorienting, and often invisible season between who you've been and who you're becoming, and why it can feel like the loneliest chapter of your life that nobody prepared you for. From the outside, your life may look “perfect”: you've built a real career, a solid reputation, a track record of doing the right things and hitting the right milestones. But inside, there's a whisper you can't quite shake—a quiet knowing that says, this isn't it anymore. Maybe it's the extra moment you need in the car before walking into the office, the promotion that left you more burned out than fulfilled, or that fleeting thought in a meeting: “I don't think I want to be in this room… or this version of my life… anymore.”This episode is about that moment and everything that comes after it.In our culture, we don't really have language or rituals for this internal pivot. There's no LinkedIn announcement for “I'm quietly outgrowing my old self,” no roadmap for “my life looks great but something feels off and I don't know why.” And because the people who love you are often deeply invested in the version of you they know, this season can feel profoundly isolating—even when nothing is “wrong” on the outside. In this episode, I'm sharing why this season can feel so confronting when there's no big external crisis to point to, and why that doesn't mean you're ungrateful, broken, or self-sabotaging: it means you're growing. I talk about the quiet “whisper” that something isn't right as an invitation to listen, not a problem to fix, and how high-achieving women often try to outrun it with more optimisation, better routines, or forced gratitude. We'll explore the role of embodiment and your nervous system in navigating this foggy in-between, and how to honour what you're feeling without collapsing into guilt because “others have it worse.”I also speak to the power of community in this tender season and why you don't have to figure it out alone. This is the deeper work I support women with inside Pivot Pathfinders, my mastermind for those navigating a career or life pivot who want support with mindset, embodiment, and practical strategy. If you're sitting inside a life that looks fine on the outside but no longer fits who you're becoming, this conversation is here to remind you: you're allowed to leave something good for something truer. This season isn't a dead end; it's a corridor. The woman you're becoming isn't a stranger. she's more of the real you.To explore Pivot Pathfinders and see if it's the right fit, you can book an exploration call here:https://cal.com/siobhan-barnes/pivot-pathfinders-mastermind For all the show notes and links mentioned in this episode, head over to:https://siobhanbarnes.com/146
We follow the healed man from the pool of Bethesda into the Temple in John 5:13–15 (NLT). Jesus finds him again and says, “Now you are well; so stop sinning, or something even worse may happen to you.”
Tara exposes the long-term consequences of the Barack Obama Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA), revealing how it allowed Iran to build long-range ballistic missiles capable of hitting U.S. bases in Europe. Eleven years ago, Marco Rubio warned Congress that sanctions relief would strengthen Iran's military power—and history has proven him right. This episode also covers the staggering 223 attacks on American bases under Joe Biden, the personal risks facing service members, and how Donald Trump's actions aimed to counter these threats. Tara shares a deeply personal story about talking to her child about the real dangers of military service in today's world. Episode Summary: In this eye-opening episode, Tara traces the origins of today's Iranian missile threats back to the Obama-era JCPOA, showing how the deal effectively allowed Iran to develop long-range ballistic missiles while giving them $56 billion in frozen assets. Eleven years ago, Senator Marco Rubio warned that sanctions relief would make Iran the dominant military power in the Middle East, enable attacks on U.S. forces, and increase the cost of America's presence abroad. Tara explains how those predictions came true, with missiles now threatening bases across Europe and beyond. The episode also details 223 attacks on U.S. military outposts under Joe Biden's watch, resulting in hundreds of catastrophic injuries, and the political ramifications of unpunished Iranian aggression. Tara shares her personal experience of navigating these realities with her child, highlighting the modern risks of military service. Finally, the podcast touches on related global threats, including Chinese military maneuvers near Taiwan, the U.S. military's strategic response, and the broader context of American strength in confronting adversaries. The episode underscores how historical policy decisions continue to shape present-day national security challenges. Key Topics Covered: JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal) and Obama-era policy failures Long-range ballistic missile development in Iran Marco Rubio's 11-year-old warnings about Iran's military expansion 223 attacks on U.S. bases under Biden, catastrophic troop injuries Personal reflections on military service and family safety Trump's interventions against Iranian threats Global security context: China, Taiwan, and U.S. military readiness
In Part Two, Sam Sloma dives into the niche that shaped Engage FS - advising professional footballers - and why that market runs on trust, discretion, and long-term agent relationships. While athletes make up 25% of the firm, the real growth engine is advising younger business owners exiting for £10m+. We explore how exit planning differs from traditional retirement advice, and why Sam uses financial planning software as a "red flag" tool rather than a forecasting crutch. We also discuss niche positioning, acquisition offers, scaling a UK financial planning firm, percentage vs fixed fees, and Sam's candid views on industry ego and long-term wealth planning.

Nobody warned you about the rage. Not the sadness — you expected that. But the anger? The kind that makes you look at a picture of your mom and say *fuck you for leaving me?* That part, nobody talks about. In this raw, honest solo episode, Nicole Weston opens up about the grief emotion she was least prepared for — the rage that followed her mom's death and refused to move no matter how many books she read, groups she joined, or therapy sessions she attended. Five years out, from a deeply integrated place, Nicole reflects on what that anger was really doing for her, why it's okay to be furious at someone you love who died, and what happens when your inner spark starts to go quiet. This episode gives you full permission to be exactly where you are — and offers real, practical tools for honoring your anger without letting it define you. There's not a lot of spaces where you can openly talk about how angry you are at your dead mom. I'm the one that's living. I'm the one going through the emotions. The Foreign Minister says another three Australia-bound flights are scheduled to leave from the United Arab Emirates today, as countries around the world try and get their citizens out of the Middle East. The Federal Government estimates more than 100,000 Australians are currently stuck in the region during the ongoing conflict.Overnight an Emirates flight from the Dubai touched down in Sydney, and passengers had emotional reunions with loved ones. The bombardment of gulf states seems to have subsided and details are emerging of a backchannel deal with Iran to open safe flight corridors from those busy airport hubs. Now the focus has shifted to intense fighting between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah, which is aligned with Iran, and a large part of the population in Lebanon is being forced to evacuate. The French president's urging Hezbollah to stop attacking Israel and the country's military to refrain from any ground offensive into Lebanon. The US has also torpedoed an Iranian warship in the Indian ocean and the Trump Administration says it along with Israel will have complete control of Iran's airspace within a week. While that's going on, stories are emerging of Australians panic buying fuel due to fears the conflict will cut supplies. The federal treasurer is warning petrol stations not to use the chaos as an excuse to rip off motorists. The government's asked the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to monitor prices at the bowser during the ongoing war.
A cautionary tale of a man who married a woman who warned him she's a cheater. In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who married his wife despite the fact she warned him that she messes up all her relationships and was a serial cheater. They have 2 kids and have had a bumpy road together. He's dealt with exes, male orbiters and she was living with a boyfriend when they met. He warns others because he always has to sleep with one eye open.If you have not read my book, “How To Be A 3% Man” yet, that would be a good starting place for you. I open up a real, unfiltered conversation about perimenopause and why so many of us feel confused, exhausted, and a little bit like we're “losing it.” I talk directly to moms who are doing “all the right things” and still don't feel good—physically, mentally, or emotionally. Instead of brushing symptoms off as “just getting older” or “just mom life,” I invite you to see them as messages from your body asking for attention, care, and support. I share how shifting hormones like estrogen and progesterone impact everything from your period to your mood, sleep, skin, energy, and even your tolerance for other people's nonsense. I reframe perimenopause as a sacred transition—not you falling apart, but you falling into alignment and meeting a new, more honest, powerful version of yourself. I walk you through simple tools like breathwork, rest, tracking symptoms, movement in micro doses, and getting real medical help so you stop suffering in silence. Most importantly, I remind you that feeling good is your birthright. You're not broken; you're evolving. The 12 signs I cover: Unpredictable periods Rage texting/posting Memory/brain fog Sore, swollen breasts Hot/cold flashes Crushing exhaustion Emotional whiplash Skin and hair changes Rising anxiety Heightened senses Low tolerance for BS 3 a.m. existential spirals Learn more about your ad choices. While we're being distracted by chatbots and AI gimmicks, Silicon Valley is quietly embedding its products into surveillance systems, border enforcement, battlefield logistics, and even nuclear command-and-control. The real money isn't in selfies with AI. It's in Pentagon contracts and permanent war footing.Investigative reporter Peter Byrne is back to talk with Steve about his 10-part Military AI Watch series at Project Censored. It's a chilling and materialist analysis of the military-industrial-AI complex.Naming names and following the funding trails, Peter reveals how firms tied to Palantir, Google, and other tech giants are positioning AI as indispensable to “national security.” Meanwhile, the systems themselves remain prone to hallucination, data poisoning, and catastrophic error.War games escalate to nuclear exchange. (Does anyone remember War Games, the movie? Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy play a teenage nerd and a popular girl who save the world from the nuclear destruction they almost launched. Sigh... innocent times.) Civilian infrastructure becomes battlefield terrain. And the comforting promise of a “human in the loop” is a marketing slogan instead of a safeguard. 2001: A Space Odyssey eerily feels both prescient and naive by comparison. Hollywood likes to personalize everything. The villain is wacky or evil; it's never the economic system. As their conversation continues, Steve and Peter look at class power, media complicity, and the illusion that electoral politics alone can rein in a self-directing war machine.Peter Byrne is an award-winning investigative science reporter who has long uncovered corruption at the nexus of science and industry. Now, in partnership with Project Censored, Byrne has launched Military AI Watch, a groundbreaking ten-part series published on Project Censored's website. https://www.projectcensored.org/military-ai-watch/Find all of Peter's work here: https://www.peterbyrne.info/

Despite some cynicism over the UFO files, we could be about to see real evidence of aerial phenomena which even the brightest minds in government have been unable to explain. The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, spoke earlier this year about UFOs performing implausible maneuvers above sensitive government sites, conjuring excitable talk about both a serious threat to national security and a vast new frontier for science. Meanwhile, Elon Musk is talking about building AI data centers in space - and that's before he colonizes Mars. Are we truly entering a new era of unprecedented discovery and exploration? This is the episode I've been thinking about for months. The Kouri Richins trial just started in Utah. The headlines are all about the fentanyl, the children's book about grief, the alleged affair. But nobody's talking about what Eric Richins actually lived through—the years of psychological warfare before the night prosecutors say she killed him.According to court documents, Eric discovered Kouri had allegedly stolen nearly half a million dollars from him. Forged his signature. Drained his accounts. He confronted her. She promised to pay it back. She allegedly never did.He consulted divorce attorneys. Changed his will in secret. Created a trust so Kouri could never control his assets. Warned his family: if anything happens to me, she's to blame. And then—on Valentine's Day 2022—he ate one bite of a sandwich she left him. Hives. Couldn't breathe. Used his son's EpiPen. Called a friend and said: "I think my wife tried to poison me."Eighteen days later, he was dead.So why didn't he leave? Because he had three boys under ten. And there's no custody arrangement that protects kids from a parent whose mind doesn't work like yours. Eric stayed close because he thought staying was safer than leaving. He was wrong. This episode is for everyone who's ever lived with someone whose reality didn't match theirs. Who questioned their own sanity. Who stayed too long because leaving felt more dangerous than staying.Eric Richins deserves to be more than a true crime headline. He deserves to be a warning.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? According to reporting by The Sun, Prince Andrew was warned by a longtime friend to immediately sever all ties with Jeffrey Epstein following Epstein's 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor. The friend reportedly viewed continued association with a convicted sex offender as both morally indefensible and reputationally reckless, particularly for a senior member of the Royal Family. Rather than accepting the advice, Andrew allegedly dismissed the warning outright, characterizing his concerned friend as “a puritan” for suggesting that he distance himself. The exchange reportedly took place at a time when Epstein's crimes were already widely known and public scrutiny of his associates was intensifying. The account adds to the broader narrative that Andrew was not unaware of the controversy surrounding Epstein but instead chose to minimize or ignore it. Despite mounting public and private pressure to cut contact, Andrew maintained the relationship, including a widely criticized 2010 visit to Epstein in New York after his release from jail. Jesus ended the Sermon on the Mount with a warning: not everyone who speaks in His name truly belongs to Him. In Part 1 of this new series, we open Matthew 7:15-23 and begin discussing false prophets — why they exist, how they operate, and why they can be so convincing. With more preaching available today than ever before, believers must learn to recognize spiritual manipulation, sensationalism, and teaching that doesn't match Scripture. This message isn't about fear — it's about discernment, and learning to follow the true Shepherd instead of the wolves.

The reported reaction to his friend's warning underscores how concerns about optics and judgment were raised early on, only to be brushed aside. In hindsight, the alleged dismissal of that advice is now viewed by critics as a pivotal moment in a scandal that would later engulf Andrew and severely damage his public standing.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

The story we've been told about cannabis—safe, simple, and mostly benign—doesn't match what we're seeing at the bedside. Two ER-turned-addiction doctors pull back the curtain on how high-potency products can quietly undercut psychiatric meds, complicate procedural sedation, and nudge recovery off course even when everything else looks better. This isn't a panic piece; it's a practical guide to staying safer and getting more from treatment. We start with psychiatry and a pattern that's easy to miss: chronic cannabis use can upregulate ABC transporters along the gut, liver, and blood-brain barrier, pushing certain antipsychotics and mood meds out of cells faster and blunting their effect. What looks like “noncompliance” may be pharmacology. We talk through which agents lean on these transporters, which alternatives may perform better, and how to have a stigma-free conversation that protects trust while fixing the plan. Then we roll into the procedure room. Heavy cannabis use can decrease sensitivity to propofol and other sedatives by altering GABA activity and endocannabinoid tone, often requiring higher doses and tighter monitoring. Add a lesser-known risk—post-propofol hypersalivation in frequent users—and disclosure becomes a safety tool. We share exactly what to tell anesthesia, what clinicians can prepare for, and how to keep airways protected without surprises. Finally, we examine the “Cali sober” idea through data, not dogma. Large cohort studies link cannabis use to higher rates of alcohol recurrence and new substance use disorders over time, especially with potent concentrates. We cover why potency and pattern matter, how cannabis can dampen the gains of CBT, MI, and contingency management, and what a realistic harm reduction path looks like when abstinence isn't the first stop. Throughout, we keep language careful—reported use, not admitted; return to use, not relapse—because words shape trust. If you care for patients, care about someone in recovery, or care about your own health, this conversation offers a clear framework: ask better questions, match meds to biology, and align goals to protect progress. Subscribe, share with a colleague or friend, and leave a quick rating to help others find the show. At Conan O'Brien's Christmas party, Rob Reiner reportedly told friends he was afraid his son could hurt him. He and Michele drove home anyway. By morning, both were dead, and Nick Reiner was in custody. This case isn't about whether the signs were visible. It's about why they weren't enough. The Reiners spent fifteen years and millions trying to save Nick from addiction. Eighteen rehab stays. Sixty thousand dollars monthly. Professional interventionists. Addiction counselors who explicitly warned them: your son is manipulating you. For years, Rob and Michele followed protocol. Then they reversed everything. By 2015, both publicly apologized for trusting professionals over Nick. They adopted his framework — that the treatment system, not their son, was the problem. What followed was a systematic dismantling of every protective boundary. A schizophrenia diagnosis. Seventy thousand monthly in psychiatric costs. Nick living in the guesthouse mere feet from their bedroom. A family orbiting one person's chaos while their own identities evaporated. This episode breaks down the mechanics of enabling that becomes fatal. The daily nervous system hijacking where you assess threat levels before breakfast. The isolation that happens so slowly you blame yourself for having no friends. The psychological reversal where your concerns become your betrayal of someone you love. Michele spoke about this openly — the moment she and Rob decided the experts were wrong about their son. This is required listening for anyone watching a family disappear into addiction management. The patterns are recognizable. The ending doesn't have to be the same.#RobReiner #NickReiner #MicheleReiner #TrueCrimeToday #AddictionCrisis #ConanOBrien #CelebrityCrime #FamilyTragedy #NarcissisticAbuse #BeingCharlieJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Election integrity is the "kill switch" of a Republic. If the process is compromised, the system fails. In this America's Founding Series episode, we look at the forgotten story of William Richardson Davie and why his 1787 warnings about foreign influence and factional corruption are the exact reasons we need the SAVE Act today. Explore how Davie's experiences as a Revolutionary War cavalry officer shaped his defense of election security, clean voter rolls, and the constitutional authority behind the Elections Clause. His warnings about factional corruption, foreign influence, and manipulated election rules echo today's debates over voter ID, citizenship verification, and the SAVE Act. What You'll Learn Why the Founders feared corrupted elections more than foreign armies How William Davie explained the Elections Clause as a safeguard against factional abuse Why clean voter rolls and citizenship verification protect public trust How voter ID fits into the Founders' vision of election integrity Why modern debates over the SAVE Act reflect unresolved Founding era concerns This episode connects America's founding warnings to today's election integrity debates and explains why a constitutional republic cannot endure without a secure and trusted electoral process.

Most people think spiritual danger looks like rebellion. But Jesus warned about something far more subtle — and far more dangerous. This video explores what the Bible says about lukewarm faith, spiritual drift, and how believers slowly lose passion for God without realizing it.In Revelation 3, Jesus delivers one of His strongest warnings to the church — a warning about becoming spiritually lukewarm. But what does lukewarm Christianity really mean? And why is spiritual indifference often more dangerous than outright rebellion? In this message, we talk about:• The slow fade of faith• How believers drift from God without noticing• The warning signs of spiritual complacency• Why lukewarm faith is so dangerous• How Jesus lovingly calls drifting hearts back to HimIf you've ever felt spiritually dry, distracted, or stuck going through religious routines without passion, this message will help you recognize the warning signs and rediscover spiritual fire.⸻

Fisher Ames didn't just worry about democracy, he despised it. In this episode of America's Founding Series, the life and ideas of Fisher Ames reveal why the Founders feared mob rule, moral absolutism, and political urgency driven by emotion rather than reason. Ames believed liberty survives only when passion is restrained by law, time, and reflection. As modern mobs reject disagreement, delegitimize institutions, and claim authority over the law itself, his warnings feel less like history and more like prophecy. What You'll Learn Why Fisher Ames believed democracy is driven by impulse, not reason The difference between citizens and mobs, why disagreement becomes betrayal, and the impact of social media on polarization and the mob mentality How the Constitution was designed to slow emotional surges before they become law Why gridlock is a feature, not a flaw, in a functioning republic How moral certainty and urgency lead societies toward instability and despotism This episode connects America's founding principles to modern unrest and explains why a republic cannot survive when mobs replace law and emotion replaces judgment.
Deep beneath Utah's backcountry are stories that refuse to stay buried. Today on Slingshot Nation, we examine reports of underground giant bones, hidden cave systems, and what one U.S. Forest Service Officer says he was warned about while patrolling remote land. His account isn't rumor or internet folklore — it's a firsthand story involving restricted areas, local knowledge passed down quietly, and unsettling details about what may exist below the surface. What he was told suggests these locations are not only known, but actively avoided. From ancient accounts of giants and Nephilim to caves, sealed chambers, and warnings tied to specific regions of Utah, the evidence begins to form a pattern. We connect the officer's story to historical discoveries, Native traditions, underground structures, and other suppressed narratives that point to something far older and far bigger than modern history admits. Whether this is forgotten history, forbidden archaeology, or something more supernatural, one thing is clear — there are places underground that some believe were never meant to be disturbed. Please pray for Tony's wife, Lindsay, as she battles breast cancer.
