Tune in as Vanessa Ondi (Best Week Ever Podcast) jumps back into her guest seat for a discussion on The Wedding Planner, the 2001 rom-com starring Jennifer Lopez as a diligent wedding planner whose latest gig sees her contending with a cheater, a stalker, a statue's broken schlong, and other sorts of shenanigans. Steve being a douchebag (albeit one who's relatively more bearable compared to the absolute vat of toxic sludge that Matthew McConaughey plays in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days), a jarring usage of the R-slur in this fluffy rom-com, and the truth of those brown M&Ms comprise a few of the talking points for this episode. Directed by Adam Shankman, The Wedding Planner stars Jennifer Lopez, Matthew McConaughey, Justin Chambers, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, Judy Greer, Alex Rocco, Frances Bay, Lou Myers, Joanna Gleason, Charles Kimbrough, Kathy Najimy, Kevin Pollak, Fred Willard, and Bree Turner. Bennett and Jim tackle Don Coscarelli's series premiere, a trip through familiar genre territory The first episode of Masters of Horror reflects the predicament Bennett and Jim find themselves in. Bree Turner stars as a woman who takes an ill-fated trip down the titular pass. She encounters a backwoods murderer whose whole shtick is a touch too familiar. Don Coscarelli directed the first four 'Phantasm' films, 'Bubba Ho-Tep,' and 'John Dies at the End,' among others. With only 20 minutes on the clock, the duo discuss topics that include survivalism, horror comics, and indie rock. Will they find the brevity to power them through to the next episode (Stuart Gordon's Dreams In The Witch House), or will the time constraint prove too challenging to succeed?   The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Bree Turner of NBC's Grimm. Bree Turner currently stars in NBC's acclaimed drama series "Grimm" as Rosalee Calvert, a Fuchsbau who returns to Portland after her brother's death to run his apothecary shop. Turner recently appeared in the feature films "Jewtopia" and "Smashed," the latter having premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2009, she starred in "The Ugly Truth" along with Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler. She also co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in "Just My Luck." Her recent television credits include "The Mentalist," "Raising Hope," "The Wedding Band," "Rules of Engagement," "The Ghost Whisperer," "Masters of Horror" and "Cold Case." Born and raised in Northern California, Turner came to Southern California to attend UCLA and actively pursue dance and acting. She worked as a professional dancer for seven years, appearing in such movies as "My Best Friend's Wedding," "The Big Lebowski" and "Austin Powers." She was also featured in the iconic "Gap Country" dance commercials and was a backup dancer with Cher for the American Music Awards, choreographed by Kenny Ortega. Additionally, she studied abroad at King's College in London. Now that the nefarious forces of Black Claw have been silenced, Nick (David Giuntoli) faces an all too familiar foe in Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz). Having gained a seat of power as the mayor-elect of Portland, Renard is poised to bring rise to his own brand of law and order. Nick must take a stand to protect his city and those closest to him, especially his child with Adalind (Claire Coffee). It will take the full force of Nick and his allies to find a way to bring peace.

It's true, GRIMM is finally back. I hope it's worth the wait for all of us. Grimm got renewed for 13 episodes and that will be the end of the line for the show. I suppose because it's only a half season they started the season in January instead of the show's customary October start. I've spent so much time following this show I'm really hoping for a great end to the story. As GRIMM always does, the season started right where it left off last spring. This episode was all about getting people from one place to another. It was rather like a human nut shell game. You've seen the game, a small object often a little ball is under one of three nut shells, someone with slick moves and fast hands tries to hide which nut shell holds the little object. In this game it's a matter of hiding dead bodies, hiding Nick (David Giuntoli) and everyone else on his side pretending not to hide him under a nut shell. There's no point in starting new storylines that they won't have time to tell. At this point everything that comes up needs to be important to bringing this story to a close. Or, that's my hope. It drove me nuts that many story ideas were started and never completed. I mean, sure life is like that, but this is TV not real life.

Episode 521 & 522 "The Beginning of the End"Written by David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf (521), Thomas Ian Griffith (522)Directed by David Greenwalt (521), Norberto Barba (522) This season finale was more intense and more mature than in the past. It left many cliffhanger questions but not the blunt instruments of seasons past. This go around it's the niggling, lingering questions that will haunt Grimmsters till this October. Golly, that sounds so far away. Short version: Black Claw moved in and made its self very much known. Diana really, really wants a family. Nick and Trubel now both know where the Splinter of Destiny is hidden. The Portland base of Hadrian's Wall is wiped out. Eve may be reverting back into Juliette. And Rosalee is pregnant. Yeah. Let those last two sink in for a minute.

Sam Jaeger’s inherent talent and carefully selected roles have him poised to arrive as a major leading man in Hollywood. Jaeger could most recently seen in the second season of the television show “Eli Stone.” Jaeger played Dennis in the feature film “Catch & Release,” also starring Jennifer Garner and Kevin Smith. Additionally, Jaeger has such credits as the TV movie “The Riverman,” opposite Carey Elwes and Bruce Greenwood and the indy hit “Lucky Number Slevin” opposite Bruce Willis and Josh Hartnett. “Slevin” was seen at Sundance Film Festival in 2006 and opened nationally to critical acclaim. Recently, Jaeger wrapped production on his feature directorial debut, “Take Me Home,” which he wrote, directed and starred in along with Amber Jaeger, Victor Garber and Bree Turner. Once in LA he landed parts in two feature films, “Traffic” and “Behind Enemy Lines.” After those standout roles, he won the powerful role opposite Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell in “Hart’s War.” In the years following, Jaeger built up an impressive television resume, including roles in such hits as “ER,” “CSI,” “The West Wing,” “NYPD Blue,” “Scrubs,” “That’s Life” and “Girls Club.” In addition to his film and small screen credits, Jaeger has also co-written and co-produced two short films.
