Videos reveal indoctrination of Chinese Uyghur kids; 1,900 pro-lifers opposed Maine abortion bill; Charles Stanley’s grandson sold famed preacher’s items on eBay

It's Friday, May 5th, A.D. 2023. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. By Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com) Videos reveal indoctrination & militarization of Chinese Uyghur kids In 2019, there were 900,000 Uyghur (pronounced WE-gir) Muslim children in Chinese boarding schools who have been separated from family members, reports Bitter Winter Magazine. Their parents, according to Family Research Council, are being held in concentration camps also described as extrajudicial detention facilities where detainees are subjected to brainwashing and other forms of torture, including rape.  The schools and dorms are an important part of the cultural genocide perpetrated through the indoctrination of the Uyghur children. This is criminal. The minors are isolated and under the absolute control and influence of unrelated and “foreign” persons. Under any circumstance other than government involvement, this would be deemed “radicalization” or “extremism.” A camp survivor, named Zumrat Dawut, obtained video clips of the kind of indoctrination that is taking place right now.  Listen to the Chinese dialogue after which I'll offer the English translation. MAN: “What is your dream?” UYGHUR BOY: “My dream is to be a member of the People's Liberation Army when I grow up. I want to be a border soldier warrior to defend the borders of our country.” MAN: “Good. “Do you know what kind of people the People's Liberation Army are?” UYGHUR BOY: “The People's Liberation Army are very brave men who love the motherland very much and are not afraid to sacrifice their own lives.” MAN: “But have you thought about it, as you want to be a border warrior? When the enemy invades, to protect the borders of our homeland, will you charge forward bravely?” UYGHUR BOY: “I will dash forward bravely.” MAN: “Not afraid of sacrifice?” UYGHUR BOY: “Not afraid of sacrifice.” The disturbing audio in all four videos is Chinese, but they are captioned in English. Video 1, Video 2, Video 3, and Video 4. Matthew 18:6 says, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in Me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Will Tucker Carlson host his own GOP presidential debate? Since Tucker Carlson was fired by Fox News, he has expressed interest in moderating his own GOP candidate forum, outside of the usual strictures of the Republican National Committee debate system, reports The Washington Post. The idea, which he's discussed with Donald Trump, the front-runner for the party nomination, would test his sway over conservative politics. And it would take a jab at his former employer since Fox is hosting the first official primary debate, which Trump has threatened not to attend, according to the New York Post. 1,900 pro-lifers opposed a proposed Maine abortion bill On Monday, 1,900 pro-lifers turned out in Maine to oppose an extreme pro-abortion bill, LD 1619, introduced by Democrat Governor Janet Mills, that would legalize murder in the womb after viability.   According to WMTW and Fox News, it was the most well-attended public hearing of the year at the Maine State Legislature. It lasted for an incredible 19 hours from 12:00 noon on Monday through 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Ann Dowdy, one of the 675 pro-lifers who signed up to speak, was holding her toddler named Rejoice. DOWDY: “I think that it is wrong for us to be killing our babies when they could be living. My daughter was born at 24 weeks gestation here in Augusta almost two years ago.” And Penny and Eric Winter, a married couple, waited in line in the rain Monday morning for two hours just to sign up to testify. PENNY: "I believe that viable children need to be protected." ERIC: "We're not talking about something done to some helpless tissue. This is a body with arms and legs, a heartbeat, and a face that is exposed to abortion by this bill." Charles Stanley's grandson sold famed preacher's items on eBay And finally, the grandson of Charles Stanley has received backlash after selling some of his grandfather's personal items online less than two weeks after the pastor's death.  Matt Brodersen, who is the youngest child of Stanley's daughter, Becky, revealed these details in a YouTube video. BRODERSEN: “What's up, guys? It's Matt, my grandpa, Dr. Charles Stanley, just passed away on April 18, 2023. We all got to go through this stuff and find things that we would keep. I found a few things that I thought were really awesome. I'm going to put them on eBay, and there's going to be a bid. You can auction for it if you want it. “This one is a 13 by 13-inch picture that you can hang on your wall. It is signed by my grandpa on August 30, 1996. It's something that I'd love for one of his fans to have. But that's not all. Whoever wins that picture frame, I'm going to include some bonus gifts -- things that I found in his desk that were there when he passed away. I'm going to give them my grandpa's coin collection that was in his desk. Those will be your bonus gifts. “The second item that I'm auctioning off is a pocket watch I found in his desk that has his engravings on it – C.F.S. -- for Charles Frazier Stanley. And, if you win this one, then I'm going to send you the rest of the watches that I found in his desk.” On eBay, Charles Stanley's engraved pocket watch sold for $2,375 after 63 bids, while the framed and signed picture of Charles Stanley sold for $3,650 after 40 bids. In response to the negative feedback, Brodersen said this in his defense. BRODERSEN: “I've already got some negative feedback on eBay for wanting to auction off some of my grandpa's things. I've got this guy on eBay who's already, like, ‘No grandson of Dr. Stanley would run this ad one week following his grandfather's death.' “I'm a human being who has bills to pay, and you know how the economy is. No, I don't really have shame in selling some of his stuff. And whoever wins is going to help me pay my bills, which I desperately need right now. I'm not afraid to admit that.” In an interview with The Christian Post shortly after his grandfather's death, Brodersen shared how Stanley supported him during dark times. After blowing his inheritance money on drugs and alcohol, he became depressed and suicidal. Stanley told him, "Matthew, I want you to always remember, the most important thing in life is to obey God and leave all the consequences to Him." In John 14:23, Jesus said, “Anyone who loves Me will obey My teaching.” Close And that's The Worldview in 5 Minutes on this Friday, May 5th in the year of our Lord 2023. Subscribe by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. Eric Winter, attorney with Prince Law Offices, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program for an update on his push back against the Governor Wolf masking mandate for Pennsylvania schools. Winter explains that this order is ‘bad governance,' explaining how it was both poorly written and not thought out. Winter points out the hypocrisies in the contract, and things school districts have told parents after receiving the state-wide mandate.  Also, Winter discusses the legality of school boards defying the masking order after the Department of Education threatened personal liability for not following the edict. Eric Winter, attorney with Prince Law Offices, returns to the Dom Giordano Program for a discussion about the legality of mask mandates throughout the state, after the Health Department and Wolf Administration announced an edict for all schools statewide. Winter explains where lawsuits currently stand that will push back against the edict, and tells what parents can do with their local school boards if they would like to question any decision. Also, Winter tells what parents can do if their child is given detention for not wearing a mask, and the legal action that can be taken if the student is removed from school. Eric Winter, attorney with Prince Law Offices, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to further break down the legality of Governor Tom Wolf's masking mandate for Pennsylvania schools. To lead off, Giordano and Winter discuss a situation unfolding locally in Pennridge, as the town school board looks to push back against the announcement by the Governor. In an email written to the Dom Giordano Program, Pennridge board President Bill Krause writes that the district, under threat of personal liability on school board members and administrators if they do not comply with the order, Pennridge SD has implemented the masking order as of September 7th, but with caveats. Winter discusses how the Pennridge district is handling the situation, and comments on whether the route they are taking is the correct route to push back. In addition, Winter gives an update on his last appearance with the Dom Giordano Program, telling whether he's heard from parents and school board members looking to take legal action about the edict. Eric Winter, attorney with Prince Law Offices, joins the Dom Giordano Program after penning a piece explaining how one can push back against the masking mandates in schools set forth by the Wolf administration. Winter takes us chronically through his recent history of fighting against the state over overbearing and unlawful mandate and orders. Winter explains why he personally takes umbrage with the handling of edicts from the administration during the pandemic, explaining the implication that Wolf's waffling has had on school board meetings all around Pennsylvania. Winter explains that Harrisburg should not be dictating decisions to towns, decisions that should be made by the local jurisdictions as written into Pennsylvania law. Winter explains that he's already been contacted by school board members hoping to push back against their entire school board and the state-wide edict, and hopes to help anybody else that'd like to take legal action against the new mandate. It's so hard to categorize life in a way that makes sense. Life is too big to fit into a little container that we can study and understand it. That's why there are so many books on the topic – too many for me to read in a lifetime, though I'll still try. I like to study the way authors categorize things in their own minds and try to make it simple for the readers, and Winters does a brilliant job of both – made even better by the wide variety of concepts he covers. ericwinters.comSwipe Right on Your Best Self

Over the summer, the co-owner of Taste of Sicily — an Italian restaurant in Palmyra, Pennsylvania — made headlines when he defied left-wing Gov. Tom Wolf's COVID-19 shutdown mandates and scoffed at the $10,000 in fines that came along with them."Some rob you with a gun, while others rob you with a pen," co-owner Mike Mangano declared to PennLive at the time, referring to Wolf. "We ain't paying crap."Well, it appears he was right. What's the background? The restaurant opened at full capacity in May — a violation of Wolf's shutdown orders — and the eatery didn't require masks or social distancing, and plexiglass barriers weren't up, the station said.Mangano cited financial struggles for the decision to reopen, WHP-TV reported. The restaurant's attorney Eric Winter said as much, telling the station "the business needed it. The family needed it, and they needed to do things to survive. They went ahead and reopened. And at that point, they had great support from the local level elected officials."But not from the state government. The Department of Agriculture delivered citations to the Taste of Sicily with fines amounting to $10,000.Mangano, however, told PennLive the restaurant wouldn't shut down its dining room — or even pay the fines: "There's absolutely no fear here. We're going to continue to come to work, and the governor ain't going to do anything about it.""We don't care what the repercussions may be. We want the world to see how ridiculous it is for being penalized to go to work," he said in a June press conference. "Nobody's asking business owners to take up arms or go to war. Open your doors already.""We were absolutely ecstatic," Mangano told the station. "You know a lot of people said a lot of different things about Taste of Sicily. We were selfish. All we cared about was business and money, and it's like we need to make a living."Winter told WHP the Department of Agriculture couldn't lawfully cite them for opening early and that citations must be prosecuted by the attorney general or local district attorney.Judge Carl Garvey ruled the family business was unconstitutionally cited and the restaurant was found not guilty, the station said, adding that Winter noted Taste of Sicily's owners won't have to pay any fines, and they're waiting for a hearing date against the Department of Agriculture. What did the governor have to say?Gov. Wolf, a Democrat, on Monday told WHP-TV that he plans to appeal the judge's ruling."The issue in terms of the upsurge has been restaurants and bars, so I think looking at how we deal with those restaurants is an important policy tool and part of anybody trying to address the challenge with this pandemic," Wolf told the station.DONATE: https://paypal.me/RocciStucciMerch: https://www.etsy.com/shop/rsmediashopVerve Forever (CBD) https://bit.ly/2QIDBJNKickAss Beef Jerky (Code: meatball for 10% off) https://kickassbeefjerky.comRocci's Private FB: https://www.facebook.com/RocciStucciSrRocci Stucci Media FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/RocciStucciMediaSpreaker The SitRoom: https://www.spreaker.com/show/rocci-stuccis-situation-roomSpreaker EBN Talk Radio: https://www.spreaker.com/show/everything-but-normal-talk-radio

Dawn shares with The Woof Life show how much her world has changed so much since Lady came into her life. Leader Dogs are the eyes to support their handler and are trained like a Secret Service Agent to put their own life in danger before harm could come to their handler.   Leader Dog Lady’s life started in a peculiar way, she lived for the first year of her life with an inmate in Iowa named Kevin. Kevin worked diligently to train her with other inmates as a part of the program through Leader Dogs for the Blind. Interestingly the long-term success rate of pups trained in prisons is better for placement as a lead dog as compared to other training programs.   Since Lady came into Dawn’s life, her world has been vastly improved: they travel, they set goals, and conquer challenges like everyone else.  Friends and family always ask them Leader Dog Lady what their upcoming adventures will be. They educate people about Leader Dogs for the Blind, go to Lions Club conventions to promote Leader Dogs for the Blind. We attend big events and fundraisers for this wonderful organization. July will be their four-year anniversary as a team. What a beautiful partnership and it’s so incredible to hear about the impact that a dog has on someone’s quality of life. This Piglet, a veteran search and rescue dog, is trained and certified to help families in arduous times. Nothing could have prepared Piglet and handler Lori Wells for the inconceivable conditions on a recent deployment. Called to aid in the aftermath of the horrific “Camp Fire” in Paradise, California, this little dog deployed to do all she could to help. Piglet provides a vital service. The value of her work in bringing answers to grieving families is immeasurable.   She assists in locating people on land and in water. Once, human searchers spent seven days combing a lake with no luck. On day eight, Piglet deployed and located the subject. She helped the coroner by locating enough bones to reconstruct and positively identify the individual. Lori and Piglet donate hundreds of volunteer hours annually and depart for each call-out with enthusiasm. Traveling thousands of miles a year does not diminish Piglet’s bubbly personality and happy-go-lucky attitude. In her off-hours, she loves making friends. Sgt. Yeager has been credited with detecting the locations of dozens of explosive devices. During his three combat tours, Sgt. Yeager participated in over 100 patrols, and was tasked with clearing routes for his fellow Marines. On April 12, 2012, Sgt. Yeager suffered shrapnel wounds from an IED that caused him to lose part of his ear.   He was awarded the Purple Heart for his injuries. Unfortunately, the same explosion took the life of his handler, Lance Corporal Abraham Tarwoe. The pair was virtuously trying to protect the other Marines in the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. Fellow Marines attest to the unbreakable bond between Tarwoe and Sgt. Yeager. After the attack, Sgt. Yeager was transported back to the U.S. and treated for his injuries until he was stable enough to retire from the USMC. Lance Corporal Tarwoe’s widow was unable to adopt Sgt. Yeager as she would now be raising their infant son alone. Sgt. Yeager was adopted by another Marine Corps family. Today, at 12 years of age, Sgt. Yeager is beginning to show signs of aging, though his spirit is undiminished. Despite his trials and witnessing acts of terrorism, Yeager remains a sweet dog with an infinitely joyful disposition. He has settled in North Carolina with his family, where he is an ambassador for the Project K-9 Hero Foundation, which pays 100% of his medical bills from his sustained injuries. His mom, Tara, says, “Alice is a hero in our eyes, because without her, Antonio would not be able to do the simple things in life that we take for granted.”   We then get an opportunity to chat with John Forlenza who is the handler to Dax.   Dax began his successful career with the Lake County (IL) Sheriff’s Office almost four years ago. He has been directly responsible for tracking and successfully apprehending over 70 suspects. Dax has also been accountable for tracking and finding dozens of missing or endangered children and adults. Dax has been used for over 100 narcotic searches resulting in the seizure of over 17 kilos of cocaine, heroin and other narcotics, hundreds of pounds of cannabis, approximately three quarters of a million dollars in currency, dozens of firearms, and vehicles.   Dax’s tireless drive, dedication to training, love for police work, and incredible success stories have gained him thousands of supporters from across the country. Dax has proven to be an outstanding K9 hero!   The 9th Annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards® will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on October 21st at 8pm ET/ PT. In this episode of The Woof Life Show the podcast for dog lovers, Lauren Farricker chats with Lydia Crochet who is the handler and dog mom to Jeanie to 3-Legged Therapy Dog who won The 2019 Therapy Hero Dog Award at the Hero Dog Awards.    Jeanie is a rescue that was found with a crippled leg running with a pack of dogs in Louisiana. She had a crippled leg which a vet quickly determined needed to be amputated. She was put up for adoption while she was healing and recovering from surgery.  Lydia took one look at her and it was love at first sight.   Jeanie has acted as a certified therapy dog for both her family and for so many people. They work to visit veterans, help children coping with loss and/or traumatic experiences, speaking to children and generally bringing joy wherever they go!   Jeanie has been honored by the Hero Dog Awards because she gives love and comfort to those who need it most. She will pick the person out of the room who needs the most help and approach them. Lydia and Jeanie aim to inspire other counseling, advocacy and law enforcement agencies to consider the benefits of therapy dogs like her.   The 9th Annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards® will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on October 21st at 8pm ET/ PT.
