The Rams are reportedly interested in the sixth overall pick, but the Raiders may be hesitant to part with that valuable draft capital. Meanwhile, veteran quarterback trades don't always work out, as history has shown. From Aaron Rodgers to Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Deshaun Watson, big-name quarterbacks changing teams haven't always led to immediate success. However, Stafford is one of the few examples where a trade worked, helping the Rams secure a Super Bowl victory.  The Giants also remain linked to Shedeur Sanders, with multiple league insiders convinced the team has their sights set on the Colorado quarterback. That wouldn't necessarily rule out the Giants bringing in a veteran as well, much like when they had Kurt Warner as a bridge quarterback before Eli Manning took over. The quarterback rumors don't stop there. Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reported that Aaron Rodgers may have reached out to the Giants, an unexpected twist given his current situation with the Jets. While the Giants haven't shown any known interest, Rodgers' potential willingness to take a pay cut just to spite the Jets adds another layer to the speculation.  Beyond the quarterback position, the Giants are also in the market for help at cornerback. Reports indicate they are exploring free-agent options, including Byron Murphy Jr. from the Minnesota Vikings. The team's secondary struggled last season, and with Deonte Banks as the only true long-term piece, they need reinforcements.  Meanwhile, at the NFL Combine, a health concern arose for top edge rusher Abdul Carter from Penn State. Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings Defeat The Indianapolis Colts 21-13 at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday Night to improve to 6-2. The first half ended with a 7-0 score which came from the Colts hitting a scoop-and-score on a Vikings sack fumble in the 2nd quarter. The Vikings tied the game early in the 3rd quarter on a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison. The Vikings added 2 more touchdown passes to Jalen Nailor and Josh Oliver in the 2nd half to take a 21-10 lead. The Colts added a field goal at the backend of the 4th but the Vikings recovered a late onside kick to seal the victory. Sam Darnold was 28-of-34 for 290 yards passing, tossed 3 touchdowns, and had 2 interceptions. Aaron Jones led the Vikings running attack with 64 yards on the ground and 18 yards through the air. Justin Jefferson once again led the receiving game with 137 yards through the air. Kicker Will Reichard missed his first 2 field goal attempts of the season but was perfect on his three extra points. Defensively, Jonathan Greenard added in 2 sacks, Jihad Ward also notched a sack, Harrison Smith had a fumble recovery, and Byron Murphy Jr. grabbed his 2nd interception of the season.
