(00:00-25:40) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s loss, but win, for the Indiana Pacers against the Utah Jazz. They also question why any NBA team would want to trade for James Harden at this stage in his career considering it doesn’t feel like he elevates players. (25:40-38:14) – Rick Carlisle made his weekly appearance on the Fan Morning Show and was asked by Kevin Bowen about the trade deadline. Jake plays what the Pacers head coach said and kind of believes what Carlisle was saying. (38:14-47:00) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing what city they would start their NBA franchise with and if they would rather start their franchise with Cooper Flagg or Victor Wembanyama. (47:00-1:15:42) – The IndyStar’s Pacers beat writer, Dustin Dopirak, joins Query & Company to share what he is hearing about the future of Bennedict Mathurin with the Indiana Pacers. He weighs in on some of the centers that could be available at the trade deadline, gives his opinion on which team makes the most sense for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and explains why the Pacers would have some interest in acquiring Ayo Dosunmu from the Chicago Bulls. (1:15:42-1:22:48) – Last night the Indiana Hoosiers snapped their three-game winning streak with a loss to the USC Trojans. Jake and Eddie discuss what’s going on with Tucker DeVries lately and if they believe last night’s struggles for Nick Dorn is a sign of things to come. (1:22:48-1:30:53) – Hour number two of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie wondering how many people actually went out of their way to watch the Pro Bowl Games last night. (1:25:33-1:56:12) – The IndyStar’s IU athletics beat writer, Zach Osterman, makes an appearance on today’s show to give his thoughts on last night’s loss for the Indiana Hoosiers against the USC Trojans. He examines where things are at right now for IU’s tournament resume, shares some thoughts on the struggles from Tucker DeVries lately, and the decision made by Curt Cignetti to bring one of his guys back on the coaching staff yesterday. (1:56:12-2:07:46) – Jake and Eddie provide an update on the trades that have been made today in the NBA and some injury news. They also provide an update on where things stand with Walker Kessler in Utah and wonder if Bennedict Mathurin won’t be moved until the offseason. February 2, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 88 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the latest news from the weekend into the morning concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers and the coaching staff that is continuing to be assembled under new HC Mike McCarthy. While only of the coaching staff hires have been made official by the team, we have more potential hirings that appear certain at this point. Because of that, Alex and I discuss the latest news concerning the potential hirings of Frank Cignetti Jr., C.J. Ah You, Danny Crossman, Mark Lovat, Grant Thorne, and Steve Scarnecchia based on the latest reports on each. After first thinking that the Steelers would be retaining DB coach Gerald Alexander, the news broke over the weekend that he is joining the Minnesota Vikings. We discuss that news in addition to AGM Andy Weidl now possibly being a Vikings GM candidate later this offseason. Scott Tolzien will officially interview for the offensive coordinator job on Monday, so Alex and I cover that morning news as well. With all of the NFL head coaching vacancies now seemingly filled, Alex and I give our opinions and rankings of each hire and landing spot. We give our thoughts on where McCarthy should rank in this year's hiring cycle. A new Hall of Fame class will be announced later this week, so Alex and I go over the latest voting controversies. We also discuss Peter King admission that he made a mistake several years ago when it came to him not voting for former Steelers S Troy Polamalu back in 2020. Only one member of the Steelers, Ben Skowronek, is participating in the annual Pro Bowl games this year so with that, Alex and I discuss the future of that event and if there are ways to make it more appetizing to watch or care about. During this show, Alex and I discuss if the hype train concerning Steelers QB Will Howard needs to slow down quite a bit at this point of the offseason. We go over several questions we think NFL commissioner Roger Goodell should be asked during his annual pre-Super Bowl press conference, which should take place on Monday. This 92-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the above recap and we make sure to read and answer a few emails we have received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Czabe flies solo today with a loaded agenda. First up: the absurdity of making Shedeur Sanders—now somehow the martyr of the 2025 NFL Draft—a Pro Bowl Games alternate at QB. Things get taken away as you get older. It's a fact of life, and Southwest Airlines just proved it with their final open-seating flight now in the books. Paul Allen bends the knee, but it won't be enough. A hard truth: the Easter Bunny is fake, but paid protestors are real. Did an NFL poster actually foretell this year's Super Bowl LIX matchup? Neutral-site NFL Championship games are a completely horrible idea, which naturally means Mike Florio is all for them. December 24, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 68 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the latest news concerning Pittsburgh Steelers WR DK Metcalf on the heels of his two-game suspension being upheld on Tuesday following his appeal hearing. We discuss several aspects related to Metcalf's suspension and that includes going over voids of guaranteed money in his contract moving forward. We also talk about the wide receiver situation in Pittsburgh for the team's final two regular season games now that Metcalf has officially been suspended. The Steelers are bringing back WR Brandon Johnson to the practice squad this week, so we go over that bit of news. We also talk about one sport on the active 53-man roster being open now that Metcalf has been suspended for the next two games. The Steelers have three players that were voted to the annual Pro Bowl Games this week, so we discuss that news. We also discuss the one Pro Bowl Games alternate from the Steelers that we know about so far. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference on Tuesday and as usual, Alex and I parse all of the notable things that he had to say to the media. We discuss his comments on the Metcalf situation, the overall health of the team entering Week 17, and how the team might handle a potential meaningless game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns and much more. Is OL Spencer Anderson poised to be the team's future starting left guard in 2026 at this point? We discuss that possibility based on what Tomlin said about Anderson on Tuesday. We also discuss the help that T Dylan Cook should get on Sunday against Browns DE Myles Garrett. Alex and I begin our weekly recap of the All-22 tape of the Steelers' last game, the Sunday afternoon road win against the Detroit Lions. We start on the offensive side of the football and spend a lot of time discussing the play of several individual players. We discuss QB Aaron Rodgers long touchdown pass to RB Kenneth Gainwell as well as several key plays that were made in that contest. After thoroughly discussing the offensive tape from Week 16, Alex and I then do the same when it comes to the defensive side of the football. We discuss the Steelers shutting down the Lions' running game and the unit managed key situations on Sunday. We also discuss the overall play of Lions QB Jared Goff against the Steelers and several key stats related to both sides of the football. Alex and I make sure to recap the AFC North clinching scenarios the Steelers have entering Week 17 as well. This 107-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted and we wrap things up by answering several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. February 3, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 87 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers now needing a new inside linebackers coach due to Aaron Curry being hired by the New York Jets. We discuss the job that curry did in his two seasons in Pittsburgh for starters. We also go over a lengthy list of potential candidates to replace Curry that Alex put together over the weekend. What will the depth chart of the Steelers inside linebackers look like in 2025 and could Cole Holcomb remain on the team as part of that group? Alex and I discuss those topics for a bit. Steelers QB Russell Wilson participated in the Pro Bowl Games over the weekend, and he gave a few interviews as part of that. We discuss what all Wilson had to say in those interviews as they relate to the Steelers and him possibly landing with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders have hired Chip Kelly as their new offensive coordinator so we discuss how that could impact Wilson possibly landing in Las Vegas this offseason. Alex and I go over the potential top landing spots for Wilson this offseason and which three teams might be the favorites. Alex and I discuss the decision the Steelers have when it comes to resigning either Wilson or QB Justin Fields this offseason. We also discuss where both currently loosely rank league-wide when it comes to the quarterback position. During this show, we pass along the breaking news concerning Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett officially requesting a trade as well as the timing of it with this now being the week of the Super Bowl. This 95-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap and we also used time at the end of this show to answer several emails we received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers having two more players, G Isaac Seumalo and QB Russell Wilson, added to the annual Pro Bowl Games this week as alternates. We discuss whether being added as a Pro Bowl alternate should count for anything when it comes to a player's career resume. Steelers team president Art Rooney II is making his annul media rounds this week to give his thoughts on the 2024 season as well as the future of the organization moving into the 2025 season. As usual, Rooney gave us quite a few talking points to parse. Alex and I go over what Rooney had to say about the quarterback position heading into the offseason. Is QB Justin Fields the apple of Rooney's eye this offseason? What about the possibility of the Steelers drafting a quarterback this year? We discuss everything related to that position based on comments Rooney recently made. We also discuss the positional needs for the offseason that Rooney hit on as well as his thoughts on his continued trust in HC Mike Tomlin. Rooney also discussed the size of the coaching staff, potential changes to the staff and how he thought OC Arthur Smith did in his first season in Pittsburgh. Rooney made it sound like OLB T.J. Watt will be extended this offseason, so we discuss that topic. We also discuss what Rooney said about WR George Pickens moving forward. We also go over it sounding like RB Najee Harris won't be back in 2025 and if the Steelers would dare think about drafting another running back in the first round again. We go over Rooney saying the team really didn't learn anything from the drafting and subsequently failing of QB Kenny Pickett now that he's gone from the organization. Alex and I make sure to try to hit on everything relevant that Rooney said these last two days and most of this episode is dedicated to his media sessions this week. This 90-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers. We go over the latest Reserve/Future signing the Steelers made since our last show and how it's looking increasingly like OC Arthur Smith will remain in Pittsburgh for at least another season. Steelers S Miles Killebrew was named a Pro Bowl Games replacement on Wednesday, so we make sure to hit that bit of news as well. The eighth episode of the SFC version of Hard Knocks aired Tuesday night so Alex and I go over the parts that included the Steelers. We discuss what HC Mike Tomlin said to his team to wrap up the 2024 season and go over the conversion that CB Joey Porter Jr. had with DB coach Grady Brown. Alex and I discuss the Steelers player that is the face of the franchise and team leader right now and which players, if any, are poised to assume that role or roles once DT Cameron Heyward retires. Pro Football Focus recently released their top 75 free agents for the upcoming offseason along with the contract projections for each. Alex and I go over the five Steelers players on that PFF list and also discuss a few others on it the time might be interested in pursuing during free agency. We spend a lot of time discussing the projected contracts of QB Justin Fields and QB Russell Wilson for obvious reasons. With draft season now here, Alex wonders if the Steelers might have interest in Alabama QB Jalen Milroe. Alex will be posting his draft profile he did on Milroe soon. January 3, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 73 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they continue to prepare to play the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night at Acrisure Stadium, There is quite a bit of housekeeping to get to early in the show concerning the team's Week 18 injury report and transactions the team made a few days ago. We discuss the 21-day windows being opened on WR Roman Wilson, DL Logan Lee, and ILB Cole Holcomb and all three players might not make it back to the active 53-man roster before the team's season ends. CB Donte Jackson (back) enters the weekend listed as questionable so we discuss his current situation and how it could impact the Saturday night inactive list for the Steelers. We also go over the Bengals' injury report heading into the weekend and specifically, a few players listed on it. We move on to discuss the four Steelers players voted to the Pro Bowl Games this year and the deservingness of each. We also discuss OLB T.J. Watt being voted the team's MVP for the 2024 season. We also go over C Zach Frazier being voted the team's top rookie of 2024 and OLB Alex Highsmith being the winner of the annual Chief Award. Steelers coordinators Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin both held their weekly media sessions a few days ago, so Alex and I parse the meaningful things that each had to say during his session. With the Saturday night game against the Bengals now on tap, Alex and I give our full preview of that contest. We address both sides of the football for each team and what the Steelers likely need to do Saturday night to close out their 2024 regular season with a win. Later in this show, Alex and I give our picks for all of the Week 18 NFL games, and that obviously includes our final score predictions for the Steelers' game against the Bengals.
